hello!
I'm so excited for today!
today is the official release of the new January stencils, dies and stamp set for Create a Smile!
I think I used every product at least once on my cards! so let's dive in!
my first card uses the one of the new stencils as well as the new Hello Times Two die!
so happy and fun!
so fun fact: the rainbow colors are actually the reverse of the stencil! i used my Distress Oxide ink pads and smeared them all over the top of the stencil. then I spritzed it with water and placed it down on my cardstock! I used a paper towel to pat down any excess water/color and then lifted up the stencil! soooooo pretty!
I die cut the 'hello' 5 times and glued them together to add height. then heat embossed the sentiment from Just Saying Hello (an older stamp set) which just works perfectly together!
I finished off the card with some Pretty Pink Posh sequins!
my second card is just as fun!
I used the new Lucent Landscapes stamp set (which is soooooo pretty!), as well as the new Postage Edge Circles Dies and the other new stencil being released!
eeep! so fun!
to start, I stamped the landscape image in Cracked Pistachio and Twisted Citron Distress Oxide inks onto a piece of white cardstock.
Then I colored in the houses and trees with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. once it was dry, I did some more Distress Ink blending right on top of the images!! and it worked so well!
I heat embossed the sentiment from Friends Like You (an older set), and then used the You Times Two die to add the sentiment!
the background was created with the big polka dotted stencil and some light grey mist!
hope you're inspired by this new release!
we can't wait to see what you all make!
enjoy!

guys this set is so sweet and lovey!
all of the images were stamped and die cut out! I colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers and then added some highlights and details with my white gel pen! you know I love that!
my little cat couple was then popped up with foam tape!
I cut the card front on an angle and then stamped a phrase a some of the smaller images from the sets with Distress Oxide Inks and did coordinating ink blending to add the sweet rainbow!
you know I can't resist a rainbow!
my second card uses gooooooooooold!! ha!
to create the background, I used the new Tumbled Hearts Stencil, and some white embossing paste, but only on the left half of the card!
then I used Heidi Swapp Gold Color Shine and sprayed it in the bottom corner of the card and sprinkled some over the whole thing!
the sentiment was partially heat embossed in white onto a strip of black cardstock, and then used the 'meow' die from Newton Unwinds Coordinating Die set (LOVE that little, scripty phrase!) and die cut it out 5 times in white cardstock, and once win gold, glitter paper!
it just adds that little bit of FUN!

Newton's Nook Designs November Release - Simply Seasonal
today, the whole DT is showcasing the super awesome Jolly Tags stamp and coordinating die set!! you'll see just how much fun these tags are to create with!! they're awesome!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on November 13th, right here!
for my first card, i almost made a one layer!
unheard of, i know!! ha!
I used the tree image and stamped in various blues and greens of Distress inks.
LOVE creating my own patterned paper that way!
then i stamped the greeting by combining multiple phrases from the set! easy peasy!! LOOOOVE that saying too! it's perfect for Christmas cards!!
my second card has a little more pizzazz! lol!
i used two different Heidi Color Shine spray mists to create the background (a teal and a mint green!).
once it was dry, i used a scripty stencil and some white embossing paste to add the texture! soooo pretty!
the tag was created by repeating the phrase 'happy holiday's' in a grey ink, then heat embossing in black the bold happy on some vellum! i fussy cut it out and layered it on top! that gold sparkly ribbon on the tag is the icing on the cake!
Would you like to win the new “Jolly Tags” stamp set?

Newton's Nook Designs September Release - Pick a Pumpkin + Die
today's day 3, the last day of September release week with Newton's Nook Designs! but never fear - it's packed full of inspiration and awesome products!
today, the whole DT is showcasing the new, super awesome and versitle Pick a Pumpkin stamp + Die set! Oh, i just LOVE those pumpkins!! and the dies make it SO SIMPLE to mass produce the perfect cards for fall!
you can totally use this to scrapbook, create a project life type spread, gift tags and, of course, cards! all of the new sets will be available for purchase on September 25th, right here!
my first card uses teal pumpkins - because that's my FAVORITE color! ha!
i stamped the pumpkins in teals and navys and then die cut them out and arranged them in a neat little pile!
the background was sprayed with gold mist! i just LOVE gold with teals and navy! swoon!! so pretty!
for my 2nd card, i decided to go a little clean and simple, because really these pumpkins do all of the work for you!
i did a little bit of a rock and roll technique in two different orange distress inks (Spiced Marmalade and Dried Marigold). then i dropped a little bit of water on to add the water droplets!
the stem was stamped in Vintage Photo, but then i added a tiny bit of water to make that look watercolored. as well! i also added a few 'drops' in glossy accents, and then stamped the sentiment from Falling into Autumn!
lastly, i just stitching a straight line along the top with my sewing machine!
Would you like to win “Pick a Pumpkin”?
This prize will be given away to ONE lucky winner!
