Pearl Harbor

We got these pictures from a guy that Ryan worked with. According to him, his brother found an old camera and bought it at a yard sale.

When he got the camera home he realized there was still some old film in it. He did some photography on the side so he was able to take the film out and develop most of the pictures. To his surprise, these are the pictures he was able to develop. He believes this is Pearl Harbor the day the Japanese attacked.

They are pretty cool pictures, whether this story is true... who knows! To me, the pictures seem to be in pretty good condition... so whatever... it makes for a good story!

Thanks to Aunt Lisa

So awhile ago we inherited Ryan's little sister's (Lisa) LoveSac. It's huge. It has to be the biggest LoveSac you can buy! But my kids love it.They love to be thrown on it, jump into it, watch movies on it and even sleep on it. You could say it kind of gets abused, sorry Lisa. But it has also become a very good "babysitter" for Oakley (and Dallon).
The two of them will play on that for a good 45 minutes, they would go longer, but that's about the time that Dallon starts getting a little rough with Oakley and he starts to get "ideas".
For example, Dallon wanted to hold on to Oakley while he jumped from the couch onto the LoveSac... he was very mad when I told him he could not do that because that would really hurt her. He just couldn't understand how she would get hurt, "it was a soft landing!"
So when I say "babysitter" - I usually have to be in the family room, but I can do something on the computer, like blogging, while they play! So thanks Lisa for the fun LoveSac!

(And for those of you wondering... yes, the cover is off - the zipper broke, and to replace the cover with a "cheap" LoveSac cover is $350... not going to happen. So we go for the canvas cover.)

Thanksgiving

This year for Thanksgiving we went to Ryan's Uncle Jim & Aunt Char's house in Kaysville. It was very nice and we had a great time! It was rather relaxing! It wasn't too crowded and we had a really nice time. I didn't get too many pictures - however, we did get a group picture, but I don't know how to work my timer on my camera so I didn't get one of them. So here are the few, very few, pictures that were taken!
