Welcome to my page today! Its the beginning of another month and I would like to share my DT project for Rhedd's Creative Spirit where the challenge is easy peasy...Anything Goes, altered art or mixed media!
I have recycled a champagne glass packaging box! I have so many of these, lol!
I have used chalk paints from deco ert for this project
.
Once painted, I have stuck book pages on the top and have decoupaged some floral tissue using modge podge.
I the took some stencils and have used gelatos to give some texture.
I also have blended some colors in the back ground.
All this has been sealed with a matte medium.
The front closure of the box, I have stenciled with texture paste and then rubbed in metallic lustre.
This is how the inside looks. Now this is a multi purpose keepsake box!
