An invitation

This looks like an open invitation to come sit a spell on the porch.  The shade and the appearance is so inviting

Just my style...

This is a home in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee....I would love to have a house with a wrap-around porch. A friend of my mom's lived in a house for a short while that had a wrap around porch and I can remember being fascinated with it. I think hers went all the way around the house, but I am not sure.

I wish I could have seen all that was on this front porch...it looks like there is a lot to be seen.  I think I could be an American picker sometimes.  This was in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Taken back in October of 2013.  You might want to click on the pic to get a better view of what can be seen here.

An Illinois porch...

This was taken the last of January...in Vermilion, Illinois.   I always love seeing what other people have on their porches.  Mine never has this much stuff on it, yet I like it.

We saw this on a drive...we have been through this little place called Vermilion, in Illinois.  Notice those windows go all the way to the floor!

Every time I pass this house, I take photos of it.  It really appeals to me.  I never see anyone out, but they are probably working.

An inviting porch....

This would be a fun place to sit and watch the time roll by...it is in Parke County, Indiana.
If they were mine I would have the swings positioned facing each other...still on opposite ends. Till I could swing and not have to worry about hitting the wall behind me. But I would not complain too much if I had to have them the way they are now.
