 This was taken on November 11, so it is doubtful that there are any leaves left.  Still,  I would not mind traveling down that road again.

In search of autumn color

 Since things are slow to color this year, I am pulling some photos from past years...

 Someone must have had access to a lot of pumpkins, etc.  I just loved this porch...if it were mine, I would use it a lot.  Our weather has turned cooler, and the breeze makes it too chilly to sit on ours now.  Though I am tempted to get a blanket and sit out there anyway.

A different sort of gold...

They are just so pretty....the longer autumn lasts the happier I am.

I came across this the other night...I don't think I have ever posted it.

 This leads down to the Wabash River....

 This is a slow down and shoot drive in Terre Haute....a back way to get to where we had to go.  This tree gets absolutely gorgeous every year.

A moment of beauty

A lot of trees are bare now, and not sure there is any left that are fully clothed like this.  Still, we have some beauty left.  Fall never lasts long enough for me. This was taken a couple weeks ago.

Touch of gold

 I love the golden hues of some leaves...such as this from the cottonwood tree next door.

Virginia creeper from another year...

 

Virginia Creeper comes in such beautiful colors in the autumn of the year.

It's a golden world...

 

I love autumn days like this one from 2015...where I feel like I am living in a golden glow.

Chartreuse wth a hint of red....

 

The color reminds me of fishing lure colors...the yellow green we call chartreuse.
