A batch of easy Christmas “Thank you” notes

Hi there, I have had one of these weeks where I did want to craft but hardly found the time to do so.
So today I would like to show you a few simple cards I have made using Magnolia Mini stamps.

All card bases came from Michaels $1 Dollar bin and were on sale 50 percent off so I got by example the pack of 6 cards you see on the first photo (with gold embossed frame and “Thank you” really inexpensive.Claudia_Rosa_Mini_Thank you_3

I did keep the set of blue cards on purpose rather simple and flat, because they went into my personal mail and the first card went as sample to Sir Stampalot. Did you know that Janice and Andy have a selection of Magnolia Mini stamps? It is just hard to locate them on the web page. Please click on the link and it will get you right there.
As you can tell.. this week was really busy, I did not even bother to carry the 3 cards into my photo tent. I took the photo of the cards in front of my stamp storage. All my stamps are stored by collection in a plastic clam shell container, they can be easily labeled with a Dymo writer if you need or just leave it. They are my best investment for small craft areas. You can stack them really neatly on top of each other or sideways, you can see what you have in them and just pull it out. They do NOT open! I have everything sorted in them… from flowers by color, brads, bling stickers, lace , buttons and so on you name it. While I was in England this year I noticed in the shop that Sir Stampalot does carry them. If you like to have a look, hey are available 3 different sizes, thin, medium thick and the largest, like you see on in my photo.

I almost want to apologize for my rather basic cards I show you today Smile but I do need them often for my personal use and I do not always post them on my blog because I feel like that’s not what you guys really want to see Smile

Blog candy winner & more frames

Hello dear friends so so sorry for letting you wait .. unintentionally. Where does this week go???? I just noticed tomorrow is Just Magnolia and I did not even had a chance to look what the challenge is Sad smile

First of course.. thanks to AAAALLL of you for your wonderful comments! I will have an other blog candy up soon.
The winner of the Ribbon kit is sweet Christine aka blankiefinder. OMG.. I just pulled her link to her blog and you got to check out her sweet card she has up. I love it! Plus… how funny.. I just had the same papers she used on her card spread out on my table. I got them a while ago at Archivers, so pretty.. the bight colors spoke to me and now that I saw Christine’s card iam really excited. Thanks sweetie for your inspiration.

Well.. here is an other set of vintage frames. Dear Maya from Israel contacted me through Etsy and asked if I would create these for her. She is going to mount them on the bedroom doors for each of her children. What a cute idea! Maya was a doll to work with. She was so easy, with finding the right images that could work to represent her kids, especially since my collection of Magnolia Mini stamps is rather small at the moment.

quickies with minis

Hi there.. today I finally post the little frames I made about 2 weeks ago. I confess… I was not too happy how the pictures turned out and I felt bad posting them on my blog.
I was like… damn.. I make for years so many projects how can I not take a picture BEFORE I adhere the image behind the acetate?????  Now you probably think.. why did you not take them out again lol… well.. clever me, decided to totally glue the frames shut from the back and add my personal seal over it because the frames have to go to Sweden as part of my DT commitment.

Here is a shot of the entire Magnolia girls. I must say.. it does look really sweet that bunch of vintage frames and the images in them. Even glitter I added with Stickles or the Twinklets do show quite well..

Soooo… aaanyhooow… the cute frames can be found at Michaels in the Dollar bin and as you can tell the size is perfect to use with the Mini Magnolia’s. I have picked up a few more – thought they would look cute in a little girls room as well..

Mini Tilda - Gift Idea

Hello .. thank you for all your wonderful comments yesterday. Today's posting was a very fast little project. I have found this rose frame at Michaels in the Wedding section on clearance. It is super heavy and looks "more" than i actually have payed for it ( only 1.99) and of course when i saw the roses.. i had to have it. Jaqueline sent me also some images of Mini Tilda with rose - which had the perfect size so i was able to have some patterned paper and ribbon showing.

Stamps: Mini Tilda holding rose by Magnolia original size can be found in the "Pink 2009 Collection"
Paper: Stampin up and polka dot is Making Memories (found at Michaels)
Frame: Michaels Wedding section
Tools: Stampin up "Looks Like Spring" punch (retired) and circle punch

New Magnolia Wedding Collection & Mini stamps

Hello and a wonderful Saturday. Wow.. thank you so much for all your lovely comments yesterday!! xxx :-) Today's card is rather simple. I followed a sketch that was given from my Magnolia-licous DT. I really used the sketch 1:1 as requested - i thought the more formal layout works nicely for a wedding card. I used a piece of paper that i got from Magnolia Sweden and since i had no settled matching Designer Paper i used my Cuttlebug folder to emboss a piece of Shimmery White SU cardstock.

Recipe:
Stamps: Magnolia Rubberstamps: New 2009 Wedding Collection, Papertrey Ink for Sentiment
Designer Paper: Imaginice, SU: Pink Pirouette, Going Grey, Shimmery White
Embellishments: Ribbon: Joann's, Dollar Store satin flower, pearl stickers for crown
Tools: Sewing Machine, Cuttlebug: Tiny Tags, Polka Dot embossing folder
This image was stamped and sent to me by my friend Jaqueline! If you like to have more sneak peeks of stamps check out her blog. She also has a very, very cute Tilda stamp holding a tulip in her hands!
Here is one more picture i can show you. I have received the tin on the right hand side from Magnolia with my DT package. It included some buttons so they do not get lost. I just got a few days before the mail arrived from Sweden 2 Mini Magnolia stamps from my friend Carole :-) yes yes i am being spoiled lol. And i thought ohhhh.. they just look so cute on top of the tin. So i just quickly colored the images in. Did a little decorating and a nice gift idea was quickly finished.
The wedding card and those tins should be by now in Sweden!

Don't forget about those wonderful blogs.. they have some awesome candy's up right now
