Big deal, the U.N. gets pushed around by Muslim Countries all the time.
nothing will come of this, it is a big waste of money and breath.
The U.N. fears the little ankle biter of Iran.
(CNN) -- International Atomic Energy Agency inspectors arrived in Iran early Sunday for a three-day visit to examine the nation's controversial nuclear program, state media reported.
The six-member delegation, including chief inspector Herman Nackaerts, arrived at Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport, Press TV reported.
"We are trying... to resolve all the outstanding issues with Iran," Nackaerts told reporters earlier, as he was about to leave Vienna, Austria, according to Press TV. "We are looking forward to the start of a dialogue, a dialogue that is overdue."
A day earlier, Iran's envoy to the energy agency said he was hopeful the trip will "resolve any ambiguity and show (our) transparency and cooperation with the agency."

US Denies Role in Iranian Nuclear Scientist's Death
Nothing like sounding a little guilty.
VOA
The United States has denied any role in Wednesday's killing of an Iranian nuclear scientist in Tehran.
After the State Department initially declined to respond to Iranian charges that the U.S. or Israel was responsible for Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan's assassination, the White House said the United States "had absolutely nothing to do" with the blast that killed Roshan. White House spokesman Tommy Vietor said the U.S. strongly condemns the attack and all acts of violence.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton repeated the White House denial of any U.S. involvement in the scientist's killing. "I want to categorically deny any United States involvement in any kind of act of violence inside Iran," she said.

Iran enriching uranium at new lab
Well Duh!
I don't think the question is if they are gearing towards a bomb anymore, it looks almost obvious.
I think the new question is, are we ready for a true Nuclear Islam?
Yes Pakistan has nukes, but compared to Iran, most of Pakistan is not a Nuclear threat!
But Iran, just a bit; you know.
USA Today
Iran has begun uranium enrichment at a new underground site built to withstand possible airstrikes, a leading hard-line newspaper reported Sunday in another show of defiance against Western pressure to rein in Tehran's nuclear program.
The operations at the bunker-like facility south of Tehran, reported by the Kayhan daily newspaper, are small in comparison to Iran's main enrichment site. But the centrifuges at the underground labs are considered more efficient and are shielded from aerial surveillance and protected against airstrikes by up to 300 feet (90 meters) of mountain rock.
Uranium enrichment is at the core of the international standoff over Iran's nuclear program. The U.S. and its allies fear Iran could use its enrichment facilities to develop high-grade nuclear material for warheads.

How Iran hacked super-secret CIA stealth drone
O.K. the U.S. knows about a flaw in the security of the Drones we fly around the world (even here) yet the idiots in charge do nothing!
Iran, takes advantage of this by jamming the system on board a RQ-170 drone and basically taking control of it!
Nice goin idiots, what a way to make the U.S. look stupid with technology; by being fucking lazy!
RT
More damage is being dished out to the US intelligence community as sources in Iran admit to hacking the CIA’s lost drone and bringing it down with not much more than computer navigating know-how.
Engineers with the Iranian military are admitting to the Christian Science Monitor that the dramatic disappearance of a multi-million dollar stealth drone aircraft suffered by the United States two weeks ago was indeed a result of their own doing, claiming now that they managed to hijack the system inside the craft with ease and bring it to a safe landing without incident.
The United States originally denied they lost a drone over Iran before changing their story and insisting that they lost contact with the craft during a surveillance mission over neighboring Afghanistan. Iranian officials quickly corrected Americans by displaying footage of the spy-plane and revealing that it was apprehended over 100 miles from the country’s border with Afghanistan.
RT has reported throughout the ordeal that the downing of the drone could have resulted from a budding cyber war between American and Iranian intelligence. Now officials overseas are insisting that they did indeed hack the craft to quietly bring it down.
Speaking to the CSM, an engineer responsible for the interception speaking on condition of anonymity says that technicians managed to hack into the craft’s GPS navigation, which the official describes as “weak.”

Iran Makes Nuclear Fuel Rod, Offers to Restart Talks
More Bullshit from Iran, it makes you wonder what is up with these rejects.
Do they really think that they can take on the United States, in anything?
Our Navy dwarfs theirs buy leaps and bounds, yet they think that buzzing around in speedboats with automatic weapons is a threat to us.
oh you have nuclear know how Iran, So do we...We have the bomb right now!
How about those new Missiles.
I think it is a matter of Napolean syndrome (Small man syndrome)and just flat out being ignorant as ignorant can be, with a healthy dose of arrogance.
Should we have Talks? why not, it can get funny again.
Bloomberg
Iran produced its first nuclear fuel rod, state-run news agencies reported, as the country offered to restart talks with the West on its atomic program.
The domestically made rod was inserted into the core of Tehran’s atomic research reactor after performance tests, the Iranian Students News Agency reported, citing the country’s atomic energy agency. The Tehran reactor produces radioisotopes for cancer treatment, according to Mehr news agency. Nuclear fuel rods contain pellets of enriched uranium that provide fuel for nuclear power plants.

Iran Says U.S. Aircraft Carrier Has Entered Zone Near Key Oil Route
"foreign fleet will be warned by Iranian forces if it enters the area of the drill."
Yep, the Iranian Navy sounds real tough.
Let the Fifth Fleet cruise through the straights of Hormuz and then we can see the Iranians poop themselves at the sheer size of a real Navy.
Foxnews
An Iranian surveillance plane has shot video and photographed a U.S. aircraft carrier during Iran's ongoing navy drill near a strategic waterway in the Persian Gulf, the official IRNA news agency reported on Thursday.
The report did not provide details and it was unclear what information the Iranian military could gleam from such footage. But the announcement is an indication Iran is seeking to cast its navy as having a powerful role in the region's waters.
IRNA quoted Iran's navy chief, Adm. Habibollah Sayyari, as saying the action shows that Iran has "control over the moves by foreign forces" in the area where Tehran is holding a 10-day military exercise.
"An Iranian vessel and surveillance plane have tracked, filmed and photographed a U.S. aircraft carrier as it was entering the Gulf of Oman from the Persian Gulf," Sayyari said.
He added that the "foreign fleet will be warned by Iranian forces if it enters the area of the drill."

Iranian navy "can readily block" Strait of Hormuz
I would like to see how long the Iranian Navy could hold up against the United States Navy!
I'm sure it is a pretty good Match up.
Not!
(Xinhua) -- Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari said that the country's naval forces can readily block the strategic Strait of Hormuz if needed, the local satellite Press TV reported on Wednesday.
"Closing the Strait of Hormuz is very easy for Iranian naval forces," Sayyari told Press TV on Wednesday as the Iranian Navy continued with the ten-day naval drills in the Strait of Hormuz and Sea of Oman.
"Iran has comprehensive control over the strategic water way," Sayyari was quoted as saying.
Sayyari, however, noted that the Islamic republic steadfastly maintains its interest in "establishing sustainable security and stability in the region."

Iran Makes New Claim It Downed U.S. Drone
If the drone that went down is an RQ-170, and if it is largely, or partially, intact, it is possible that the technological secrets of the advanced aircraft could be compromised.
Not good, but I don't think Iran is smart enough to do anything with the technology in the RQ-170 within the next 10-20 years or so; they just ain't that bright.
the wall street journal
Iran said on Sunday that it shot down a U.S. stealth drone near the country's eastern border, but U.S. officials in Afghanistan said the craft could instead be an unmanned reconnaissance plane that veered off course and crashed last week.
Iran's official Islamic Republic News Agency quoted a military official who said Tehran had downed an RQ-170 Sentinel, the U.S. Air Force's stealth drone.
U.S. and NATO officials wouldn't say what kind of American drone had disappeared, but U.S. officials said there was no indication that the aircraft had been shot down by the Iranians. One American official said the drone likely suffered from a mechanical failure.
American officials said they believe that after the remote pilots lost control of the aircraft, the drone crashed in an unknown location.

Iran blast completely destroyed major missile-testing site
Always good news to hear that Iran has some problems, their missile making facility was leveled last month buy a Mysterious explosion.
That will set them back in that area for awhile.
Haaretz
A recent explosion at a military base near Tehran was a major setback for Iran's long-range missile program and completely destroyed the base, according to American and Israeli intelligence officials, the New York Times reported on Monday.
The officials said that surveillance photos showed that the Iranian base was a central testing center for advanced solid-fuel missiles, which are better equipped than older, liquid-fuel designs to carry warheads long distances.
According to the report, satellite photos taken after the blast show that the base was almost completely destroyed, which amounts to a serious setback to Tehran's missile development, intelligence officials said.

U.K. Expels Iranian Diplomats
Good stuff, it would be nice to see all countries expel the Iranian Diplomats.
(Bloomberg) -- The U.K. ordered Iran to close its embassy in London and remove its diplomats in the aftermath of a mob attack on the British Embassy in Tehran.
Iran’s isolation deepened as France and Germany recalled their ambassadors for consultations and Italy considered closing its mission in the Iranian capital. Britain closed its embassy in Tehran and evacuated the staff following the attack.

Britain withdraws all diplomatic staff after Tehran attacks
Awesome, Iran showing its Muscle.
To bad they will ultimately loose this fight.
And the big question, WHY ARE THESE PEOPLE STILL IN IRAN?
The Telegraph
Both properties were severely damaged, with official and personal possessions seized or destroyed, said sources who had spoken to staff at the embassy. One described the damage as "carnage".
Britain said it was outraged by the attacks and warned of "serious consequences".
"In light of yesterday's events, and to ensure their ongoing safety, some staff are leaving Tehran," Britain's foreign office (ministry) said in a statement. While the official statement referred only to "some staff", two diplomatic sources said that all British staff were leaving.
Norway has also closed its embassy in Tehran due to security concerns after the attacks

Pentagon Receives Massive Bunker-Busting Bombs
According to Boeing’s website the MOP includes a GPS navigation system and more than 5,300 pounds of explosives. It measures 20 feet long and is “designed specifically to attack hardened concrete bunkers and tunnel facilities.”
Awesome, I would love to see one of these demonstrated on say Iran's nuclear facilities, or maybe even the Norks.
Like an early Christmas present to them.
Foxnews
Pentagon officials are speaking publicly about the military's new 30,000-pound massive ordnance penetrator, or MOP, known now as the biggest "bunker-busting bomb" in the world.
The Air Force has already received an undisclosed number of these bombs from Boeing, all designed to fit exclusively with the B-2 and B-52 bombers.
"It gives us a far greater capability to reach and destroy an enemy's weapons of mass destruction that are located in well protected underground facilities... to a magnitude far greater than we have now," Pentagon Spokesman Capt. John Kirby said at a briefing Wednesday.
But, strangely, Kirby denied these bombs are designed to target Iran, the only country known to have buried its nuclear weapons program...
It has been widely reported that Iran has buried it's nuclear weapon production facilities at least 90 meters underground at locations in Natanz and Qom.

Iran Admits Nuclear Sites Hit by 'Duqu' Cyberweapon
Iran described similar attacks in April and pegged them to a virus it called "stars."
That was Duqu too, Schouwenberg said.
HA HA, Iran must be pissed; even if nothing has happened as a result of this new virus.
Foxnews
Iranian officials admitted Sunday that they had uncovered evidence of the Duqu computer virus -- labeled "Son of Stuxnet" by cyber experts -- at the Islamic Republic's nuclear sites, state-controlled IRNA news agency reported.
"We are in the initial phase of fighting the Duqu virus," Gholamreza Jalali, was quoted as saying. "The final report which says which organizations the virus has spread to and what its impacts are has not been completed yet."
Duqu is the second major weaponized virus to turn computers into lethal weapons with devastating destructive power.
The new program, discovered by Symantec in mid-October with the help of an unnamed research lab, uses much of the same code as the 2010 Stuxnet virus did. But instead of destroying the systems it infects, Duqu secretly penetrates them and, according to some experts, creates “back door” vulnerabilities that can be exploited to destroy the networks at any time its creators may choose.
The original Stuxnet malware was the culmination of a vast technical and espionage effort that had only one target in mind: the Iranian nuclear program. And is widely believed to be the work of the United States and Israel. Experts who looked at the program were amazed at its ability to penetrate Iran’s secure, highly protected security system and destroy it without being detected.
Its success set back the Iranian nuclear program for years.

Ahmadinejad Vows Not to Retreat on Nuclear Drive
"This nation won't retreat one iota from the path it is going," Ahmadinejad told thousands of people in Shahr-e-Kord in central Iran. "Why are you ruining the prestige of the (U.N. nuclear) agency for absurd U.S. claims?"
So the monkey man speaks and he said that Iran WILL not divert from its nuclear program.
And the usual co conspirators are at their defense, Russia and China both are screaming for the world to just leave Iran alone and not ramp up any sanctions.
Most likely because of their vested interest in Iran Developing a strong Nuclear program and developing a Nuclear Bomb (Your allies are much more feared by others when they to are Nuclear Armed)
So the big question, will Israel strike ? Will they make Irans Nuclear facilities look like Syrias? (a pile of ruble).
Foxnews
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed Wednesday that Iran won't retreat "one iota" from its nuclear program, denying claims that it seeks atomic weapons. Key ally Russia gave the Islamic Republic a major boost, rejecting tighter sanctions despite a U.N. watchdog report detailing suspected arms-related advances.
Israel called on the world to stop Iran's nuclear program in response to the U.N. International Atomic Energy Agency's report. The Israeli statement did not refer to the option of a military attack, Israel considers Iran its most dangerous enemy...
"Any additional sanctions against Iran would be perceived by the international community as an instrument for regime change in Tehran," deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov told the Interfax news agency, adding that Russia "does not intend to consider such proposals."...
China has not publicly commented yet on a U.N. assessment of Iran's nuclear programs in a likely sign that it will wait for Washington and Moscow to signal their intentions. Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said Wednesday that Beijing was studying the report and repeated calls for dialogue and cooperation...

Iran moved nuclear material to bunker
Of course, it is what the Iranians do; hide stuff, lie, build nukes, lie...
No one should be surprised by this report, the signs have been their for a long time.
Diplomacy will not stop Iran, Sanctions have obviously done nothing; so what next?
Reuters
Iran has started moving nuclear material to an underground facility for the pursuit of sensitive atomic activities, a U.N. nuclear agency report showed, a development likely to add to Western suspicions Tehran is trying to build a weapon.
The International Atomic Energy Agency document also said Iran had continued to stockpile low-enriched uranium (LEU) and one prominent U.S. think-tank said it had enough of the material for four nuclear weapons if it refines it further.
The information that Iran last month moved a "large cylinder" with LEU to the Fordow subterranean site was included in the U.N. body's most comprehensive report yet pointing to military aspects of Tehran's nuclear program.
The main finding in the IAEA report, which was leaked on Tuesday, was that Iran appeared to have worked on designing a nuclear warhead and that secret weapons-relevant research may continue.

Awaiting Nukes Report
mounting evidence that Iran may be building an atomic bomb.
And Iran will deny the report then commence to ripping on the U.S. for all its problems.
And the people will buy it!
Foxnews
As the International Atomic Energy Agency prepares to release its latest report on Iran's nuclear program, an Obama administration official said Thursday that the Islamic regime has a credibility problem.
"Iran, over many years, has been unable to demonstrate the peaceful intent of its nuclear program," Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Ben Rhodes told reporters in Cannes, France, where President Obama was attending the G20 summit.
"They're the only treaty member of the (Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty) that cannot convince the International Atomic Energy Agency that their program is peaceful," Rhodes said.
The U.N. nuclear watchdog is expected to roll out an update next week to bullet point the purpose and size of Iran's nuclear fuel program. The country insists that it is only interested in energy, but the assessment is expected to detail mounting evidence that Iran may be building an atomic bomb.
Rhodes noted that Iran is already ignoring the requirements of the IAEA report, and the NPT.

Iraqi Speaker Warns of Neighboring Countries Meddling After U.S. Troops Leave
Limiting Iran's influence in Baghdad was a top U.S. pitch to keep American troops in Iraq past the Dec. 31 withdrawal deadline set in a 2008 security agreement.
Yes, all the smart people in the world understand this, when the U.S. pulls out of Iraq, Insanity Islamic style will ensue.
But really, what are we supposed to do, the Iraq Government has stated that it can not ensure the safety of U.S. troops against their laws; in other words our troops will be subject to prosecution under Iraqi(Sharia)Laws, and that would not be a good thing.
Imagine all the false accusations we hear about in the Islamic world towards their own people and the justice that is served on them (Usually death) now put American soldiers in the mix.
Iraq will fall deeper into silly Muslim land with the help of Iran and other countries, we can do nothing about it; our troops need to come home now before anything else happens to them.
The funny thing is, even the Iraqi people know this; and they accept it.
Foxnews
The speaker of Iraq's parliament on Monday accused neighboring nations of meddling in Iraqi affairs and signaled it will only get worse if the country is seen as vulnerable after U.S. troops leave at the end of the year.
Speaker Osama al-Nujaifi, a Sunni Muslim, did not name the Mideast nations and did not offer specifics. Iraq's Sunnis long have worried about Iran's burgeoning influence in Baghdad, where the Shiite-dominated government has built ties with Tehran since the 2003 fall of Saddam Hussein.
Top U.S. officials, including Defense Secretary Leon Panetta and Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, voiced similar concerns over the weekend.
"Iraq now suffers from points of weakness," al-Nujaifi told a news conference in Baghdad. "If neighboring countries see that Iraq is weak and incapable of protecting its borders and internal security, then definitely there will be interference. This interference does exist now."
Limiting Iran's influence in Baghdad was a top U.S. pitch to keep American troops in Iraq past the Dec. 31 withdrawal deadline set in a 2008 security agreement. Washington has feared that meddling by Iran, a Shiite Muslim theocracy, could inflame tensions between Iraq's majority Shiites and minority Sunnis, setting off a chain reaction of violence and disputes across the Mideast.

Iran's top cop offers to resign if boy-girl survey proves true
"The report that 80 percent of males and females have relations goes against the moral fabric of our society," ILNA quoted the police chief as saying.
Something about a person being deeply disturbed because the NORMAL facts of life may be going on around him, I find deeply disturbing !
Oh yeah this is Islam, It all makes sense now?
CNN
Iran's top cop has offered to quit his job if anyone verifies the results of a recent survey that says 80% of Iranian students drink alcohol and have friendships with the opposite sex, the semi-official Iranian Labour News Agency reported.
"These findings have no basis and if such things are true, I will resign from my post," Ahmadi Moghadam said, according to ILNA.
"The report that 80 percent of males and females have relations goes against the moral fabric of our society," ILNA quoted the police chief as saying.
Moghadam condemned the media for reporting what he called the bogus results of the study and challenged to debate anyone who believed the findings to be true.
"If relations are made through deception we will immediately get involved since committing sexual violations calls for the highest punishment."

U.S. aims to punish Iran
This is where Obama will look weak. Diplomacy will do nothing here; yet that is what will most likely happen.
Unfortunately it will take a successful attack before action will be taken against another enemy of the United States.
So Imalitlmunky, will get away with this B.S., Obama will Continue to look like a Douche, and the Muslim world will still hate us, as they laugh behind our backs !
USA Today
The Obama administration plans to leverage charges that Iran plotted to assassinate Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States into a new global campaign to isolate the Islamic republic.
U.S. officials say the administration will lobby for the imposition of new international sanctions as well as for individual nations to expand their own penalties against Iran based on allegations that Iranian agents tried to recruit a purported member of a Mexican drug cartel to kill the Saudi envoy on American soil.
"This really, in the minds of many diplomats and government officials, crosses a line that Iran needs to be held to account for," Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday. She said she and President Barack Obama want to "enlist more countries in working together against what is becoming a clearer and clearer threat" from Iran.

American hikers taken hostage 'because of their nationality'
Glad to see them home, now if they could stop with the America sucks innuendos it would be a lot better for them.
"The only explanation for our prolonged detention is the 32 years of mutual hostility between America and Iran"
Really? why does America have the hostility towards Iran Dipshit?
I guess we should not be hostile to a country that would like to see us disappear as a country, and 32 years ago took 52 American hostages and held them for 444 days !
Hey jackass, I hear there are some nice hiking trails in Afghanistan, why don't you and your other rejects go hike around there and see how you come out of that one !
The Telegraph
Hikers, Shane Bauer and Josh Fattal say they believe they were imprisoned as hostages because of their nationality, not because they may have illegally strayed across the Iranian border.
The pair were detained in July 2009 along the Iran-Iraq border and maintain they were only hiking in Iraq's relatively peaceful Kurdish region and may have wrongly ended up in Iran.
Speaking after their arrival in New York, Josh Fattal and Shane Bauer said their detention was, "never about crossing the unmarked border between Iran and Iraq."
Shane Bauer said, "We were held because of our nationality" not because they unknowingly crossed into Iran.
"The only explanation for our prolonged detention is the 32 years of mutual hostility between America and Iran, " Bauer added.
