Goodies

I have been craving shopping.

Pinterest has got me planning a home I don’t have, lol, but I am itching to go see what is out there. I like to plan ahead!

I was inspired by blog hopping to run over to Michael’s and see the goodies in the $1 bin.

I actually put back a lot of what I gathered! I got my Country Living in the mail yesterday, I had to make my weekly stop at Barnes & Noble so I got coffee and Romantic Homes, and Elyse is in Artful Blogger(Nov/Dec/Jan) which I looked for in three places and Michael’s only had this one copy left!! I just made it!! Also grabbed a cute pad of paper at JoAnn Fabrics.

The Jelly Bellies were a necessity and were SOOOOO worth it!!

My collection of cupcake holders is now organized into two jars and look great!

You can never have too many cupcake holders!

Also found these  at Michael’s.

I have been looking for pink knobs and honestly haven’t even found them at a price I wouldn’t pay. I was thrilled to get them for $2 each in the dollar days bins.

They match my Lamp

And I think they look cute.

Here is the before

Boring but keeps with the style. Now I need 10 pulls for the two matching dressers. I think it will not be as easy to get. I will keep looking.

I found this

Cute pink and brown dot bed for Sophie. Marshall’s had them for $19.99. More than I wanted to pay but after looking for this size for two months it was the cheapest one I found and it is CUTE! Sophie is still out on if she likes it. Silly girl.

I also got two plastic totes from Wal Mart and have organized under my bed and the Christmas I took down.

I feel better. I even cleaned out the hall closet just for fun ;)

Funny how January does that to you.

Now I am off to add to my Pinterest boards for my dream house.

Must be prepared.

I have no will power

This could be a super long post of ALL I have no will power for but I will just focus on one item today.

Tote bags

Another one.

In my weak defense these are $6.99 at Borders Books when you purchase 2 items.

This was one

Cute little retro notebook.

I will talk about notebooks later ;)

I love Paperchase, being English and all and me being such a nut for all that is English!!!

I love this tote is is so much bigger than my Mag bag

So I can take EVERYTHING with me now!

100_1135Now I can go shopping ;)

It will hold tons of more tote bags! LOL

Borders is doing a good job of sending great coupons and they have fun stuff!

LOVE Books you know ;)

Thrifty Me

I have been very thrifty lately. Had to for many reasons but it is still good to know I can do it and get so much!

frappuccino1

These were half price this week and I can handle them at $2! Yummy!

SS Muffin pan

These are great and very handy for many uses! I have been wanting one to hold small goodies while crafting. My local Good Will had one that is white (I was thinking I’d love it pink anyway) and it was a whopping $.69! ☺

I received a book of Proctor & Gamble coupons. Really good ones most are $1. I was getting low on toothpaste

and deodorant

and lets face it I cannot go with out these, and I was lucky that the coupons were $.75 and $.50. At the local grocery they double coupons every day! So my toothpaste was $.99 and the double pack of deodorant was $3.49! Now I am good for a while and can keep my friends ;)

This sweet little girl was at a local Hallmark sidewalk sale! She was $3! She doesn’t have wings but is still cute, and not broken in any other way! I have wanted one for a while.

Maybe being on a really strict budget isn’t all that bad. I got things I was looking for in a really easy way that were better in price anyway.

It is kind of fun to think of it as a game instead of something you have no choice but to do.

Hope you are all having a great week!
