What is an Aeldari? Is it a space elf? Is it something a little closer to Ridley Scott's Engineers? The original 80s Eldar were certainly Geiger-esque in the accompanying art. In the texts too. So great were the souls of the Ancient Aeldari, that they birthed from the madness of their decadence their own Doom: Slannesh, the Devouorer. The Drukhari fled Him into a maze of warp tunnels and pocket dimensions were the remnant kept the dark old ways in fear. The Aeldari chose a different path. Boarding vast arks, they set out into space practicing a rigid discipline. For if the fall of the Eldar had birthed their Doom, what might come from their reclamation? Thus was born Yinnari, god of the dead, the hope of the Aeldari.

La parvenue et un pas de deux. Ballerinas make great Drukhari. Somehow, I can't just draw from references without imagining a story. I always preferred playing Aeldari, but exploring the darkness they came out of reminds me of just how rich the Warhammer 40k world has become over the past 40 years. I have no idea how to play or paint the Drukhari, but these soul pirates make a fascinating backdrop for their noble younger cousins.  "And ye shall be as gods, making good and evil."  "Bright the hawk's flight against the empty sky."

Tete a tete. Yoga was made for holding the heads of your enemies in interesting ways. The problem, of course, is that ballerinas rely on having as little body fat as possible, while a gladiatrix should have a good cushion of fat for protection. Which is it, Games Workshop?

The Sisters of Battle may have given up their kinks, but Lelith Hesperax wore more clothes when I was playing. Here, we have the picture colored, corrected, and filtered.
