Errrk, urrrk.....!!
I'm sure this was the same 'wild' look in my eyes yesterday when I kept coming up against these seven letters..SMENITA, talk about annoying, and I was wondering if anyone else had had the same problem. When I tried to make a comment, these letters would appear in the code box and the comment wouldn't go through and I wasn't sure if it was just happening to me! In the words of this Western Corella 'aier-ek, aier-rr-k,aer-rk, errk, urrk, aiirk' I did manage to pull myself together and leave out the 'loud screeching' that usually follows!! I'm hoping for a calm weekend and wish the same for you.....p.s. sorry about the lack of 'crispness' of this photo, he was very high up in the tree.

I didn't have a problem posting...but trying to leave comments was a bit hit and miss with some blogs! Oh yes...these are very noisy fellows aren't they? We have some sulphur-crested cockatoos nearby who screech so lodly it's as if they are right outside my window. Good pic. Happy weekend.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your problem...it seems like there is something going wrong with Blogger all the time. And this is a terrific photograph! I love it. He's got his eye on you way up there in that tree!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! I had that one thrown in my face everywhere I tried to leave a comment yesterday -- talk about frustrating!!! The pits!!! That being said, I LOVE your colorful, gorgeous bird! What a beauty and your photos are terrific!! Hope you have a great weekend, Grace, with no more problems from Blogger!!!

Wow amazing photos! I'm a student of Biology and I hope to see this bird one day! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteLife's great, isn't it ?! What a wonderful bird to have around. Please have a good weekend ahead.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! I se no problem with the crispness! Hope you don't have any more issues with Blogger - I had mine a few weeks ago! Have a good weekend, Grace!
ReplyDeleteHe looks like such an intelligent bird - can probably cause a lot of trouble!
ReplyDeleteI haven't had any blogger problems lately - knock on wood.
I like your shots of the bird Grace. Even more though liked your tale of blogger/computer land! Have also had a dreadful time with computers this past week or so and to top it off, when I went to post this comment, the comment box had disappeared. Triumph of the gremlins in the system no doubt!
ReplyDeleteThat first picture is soooooooooo awesome.......you lucky Australians.......
ReplyDeleteThey are noisy birds, but I love to see them. I'm always amazed that the birds in Australia are not afraid of people. Have a great weekend Grace.
ReplyDeleteThat's a handsome bird. Looks like one powerful beak.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful bird and perfectly photographed.
ReplyDeleteDon't you hate the word verification box.
Darryl and Ruth :)

Hi, Grace...re your comment about your comment...have you checked recently to see if it showed up? It could be my fault because sometimes when I get a good comment I get so excited I hurry to answer it and forget to publish it...but I can't find any unpublished comments. It could be that Google ate it! I'm really sorry about that. Please let me know if it happens again...ok?
ReplyDeleteNo need to apologize. Most of us would never even see a fantastic bird like this sitting in a near by tree! Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI had the same problem yesterday with smenita it was really annoying so i gave up commenting when it appeared :-).
ReplyDeleteTerrific photo Grace. No need to apologize about the crispness. It's a great image.
ReplyDeleteThe detail in the top photo is outstanding.
ReplyDeletehaha, gotcha! You got his expression in the first picture very well, his evil-eye,I do love it! :)
ReplyDeletePretty bird and great expression you caught, but that beak scares me....!
ReplyDeleteGood pics.
ReplyDeleteIt is great to see you have those pretty birds in your backyard.
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous capture of the corella! This guy looks very intent on his munching activities! So glad to hear of your Blogger woes! All my blogs were disabled when I attempted to comment on one blog! I could only view them but not edit! Nor could I comment on other blogs! Why? Who knows! Luckily I had a number of posts scheduled!
ReplyDeleteI'm not much of a bird watcher but I am falling head over heels for your recent bird photos! They are so bright and tropical!
ReplyDeleteHope you have a calm weekend ;D
Sometimes, things don't work with blogger, and we don't know why. That's very boring!
ReplyDeleteDon't let that spoil your week-end anyway!:o)
Yes! «Louis» was having the same problem with the same Word Verification "word."
ReplyDeleteHe had to empty his cache, close and re-open his browser to be able to comment on another blog. Ah! The mysteries and marvels of Blogger!
I cannot imagine how delightful it must be to live in an environment where these gorgeous birds fly freely. Are they protected by any wildlife laws!
ReplyDeleteQuite cool!

You have amazing birds out there, Grace. No problems with comments here yesterday, but I was kind of busy and didn't do as much as usual.
