Mini Milk Cartons & Carrier-DS File & jpeg Added!

I saw the SU mini milk cartons & carrier inking idaho's blog and fell in love with them.  I refuse to spend money on dies because I have a cricut!  I made this file last week, but with the winter formal had no time to play with it.  I finally put it together today.  Warning-these are really small!!!!  I used the dimensions listed.  It can be resized if you would like it bigger, just remember to click "keep proportions".   I only have the file in svg form-sorry!

NOTE- You need to use the layers box with this file.  You have to cut the cartons, shut off that layer, open the score layer, adjust blade & depth, hit load paper, & cut again.  If you need more info there is a video with my pillowbox favors explaining how the layers work.

If you need help assembling the carrier, find the cookie tower carrier video.  They go together the same way!

Triangle Flap Treat Box-video & files

Another treat box for you-just in time for Valentine's Day.  There is an svg file, DS file, and a jpeg, for those of you who don't own an electronic cutter.  I know a pdf would be better, but my computer ignorance is showing!!!!

Heart Top Hexagon box-video & files

Here is my newest box, just in time for Valentine's Day.  I think I have everyone covered with files.  I'm not sure about the gypsy file.  I followed instructions I was given for saving it, but since I don't have a gypsy I have no way of testing it.  Please let me know if it works or not!!!

First project for Glue, Scissors, Paper!

Here is my first Design Team project for Glue, Scissors, Paper.  The challenge was to make a project using 50%  recycled materials.  This is what I came up with.
I used a gift box from Christmas for the mail box, and clear plastic packaging for the flag.  I printed the patterned paper myself.  I didn't have the right color glitter, so I mixed pink and orange together until I had the perfect shade.  I ran the flag through my xryon and then applied the glitter.  I also covered the brads with glitter.  They were standard gold colored office brads.  I used white ink, clear embossed that, then covered them in crystal effects and dipped in glitter.  The Be Mine is computer generated and covered in cystal effects.  I used a Ms edge punch for the scalloped edge and inked my edges.  There are cut files available for Ds and scal-just scroll down a couple posts.

Nothing new here, just another twist top box.  I can make these in my sleep now!  I love how this one looks-simple and elegant.  Looks like I need to clean my camera lens!!!

Twist Top Box-Video & file

I've added more files to the twist top box I posted a while ago.  There are now 2 flat bottom boxes.  The short box holds an ornament perfectly.  I'm going to use this box to give my glitter ornaments in (yet to be made!!!)

Twist Top Box

I saw this box at dawnsstampinthoughts.typepad.com and decided to make a cut file.  There was a lot of scoring and I'm a lazy crafter, so the file does the work for me.  It's done with plantin schoolbook. It is tricky getting it to close the first couple of times, but then it gets easier.  There are two sizes in the file.  I filled the larger one with lottery tickets for my brother-in-law.

I thought of doing these while I was doing  the cake in a box.  Just another way to give gift cards. :0)

Cake in a Box

Here is my version.  I do not like how this turned out.  It looks like a combination wedding/baby shower box, and it's for a birthday!!!!!  I do however, like the idea, and the way it comes together.  I just need to use different paper.  I didn't have much on hand, so I used what I had.  I figured I should show the flops along with the one's I like.
