Birthday Card

I made this "spring" card for a friend.  It lays flat in the envelope and then "springs up" when you take it out.

Double Slider Birthday Card

I  made this for my neice's upcoming birthday.    It took a lot longer than it should have, but was worth it in the end.  I used a lot of print and cut :)   I have video showing a double slider album here

Super Bowl Party Invites

I made spinner cards for our Super Bowl Party invitations.  The football rotates across the front of the card when you tilt it from side to side.  I used the cut and print for the helmets and the slot on the front of the card.

Wedding Card

My daughter-in-law's sister is getting married today.  The colors are navy and silver, with snowflakes.  Here is the card I made.  I put it together yesterday afternoon, last minute as usual.  But I actually love how it turned out.  The pictures aren't very good.  I didn't take the time (who has any right now?!!!) to get my lightbox out, and it is a dark morning here.  The paper looks black, but it is a sparkly navy.

Candy Box & Card

I finally made a box!!!!  It has been forever, and most of you know I have a "thing" for boxes!  I used my new GLITTER gel pens to decorate this set.  I absolutely LOVE them.  I cannot believe how much sparkle is packed into a single line of ink.  I was pretty skeptical about how much they would actually "glitter".  Was I ever surprised.  I tried to capture the sparkle in the close up of the card, but it doesn't do it justice.
The pens are available at Chomas Creations.
Box file was purchased from My Time Made Easy

Halloween Card

Here is another project using the gel pens with my cricut.  First I "drew" the images with my cricut and the black gel pen.  I colored the letters with colored pencils, then blended the stroke lines with oderless mineral spirits.  I used stickles on the spiderweb and letters.  I cut the spider image out of black paper, used a pop dot to place it over the drawn image, and covered it with glossy accents.  If you are not familiar with the gel pens you can find information and ideas at Chomas Creations

Name Tile & Card

I made this for a baby shower I am attending this weekend.  The nursery theme is jungle.  I saw a picture frame similar to this on the cricut MB, and thought it would look good as a tile.  It is a 12 x 12 tile.  I used vinyl and paper for this as I didn't have all the vinyl colors I needed.  It worked.  I finished the back of the tile by glueing a picture hanger on the back and covering the tile with heavy cardstock.  I cut narrow strips fo brown vinyl to cover the raw tile edges.  As a finishing touch I added some rhinestones to the name.

Does anyone know why blogger keeps rotating my pictures??!!!!  It is driving me nuts!!!

Creative Inspirations Paints

Our challenge this week was to make a project using "beachy" colors.  I printed a colored beach scene, then went over the colors with matching paints.  I used autumn wheat, winter frost, aquamarine, onyx, and my favorite, fairy dust!  Check out the other designer's projects at Creative Inspirations Paints!
