Inspire Me Thursday - Door

Today's theme at Inspire Me Thursday is Door. I wonder what is on the other side of this door. Something magical I am sure.
I made this card using Invoke stamps which are always inspiratonal. The inks are Distress Inks and Versafine.

See Thru Girl

This page is in an altered book I am working on. It is one of the projects that seems to be taking a long time. The little girl is stamped on a transparency and then colored. You can see the page underneath through the window. The theme this week at Mixed Media is transparencies.

Tick Tock

I used more Invoke stamps for this card about time. The theme this week at Daring Cardmakers is to make a card using a clock. The ink is Versafine pinecone.

Art it Up

The theme at WS is art. I guess I am still feeling spring all around me and it is green. This is a monochromatic stamping technique using three shades of Adirondack Inks.

TMTA - Hero

Clara Barton was the founder of the American Red Cross. I have always admired her and her achievements at a time when woman had very little say in our country. My TMTA ATC is dedicated to her.

More Moos

These are some moos I made using so new acrylic stamps by Inkadinkado I picked up at JoAnn's last week. I know I have jumped on the owl craze band wagon. But they are so cute and were 40% off.

This was such a fun theme this week at 4x4 Friday. I used my ticket stamp from Stamper's Anonymous and the image is from my stash.

I really enjoyed making this 4x4. I have been waiting for a theme to use this circus image and this was perfect.

Take Time To Smell the Coffee

The theme at Theme Thursday this week is Coffee or Tea. It seems a coincidence that I have been experimenting with my new stamp sets this week. I just received the proofs. They still need quite a bit of work and the stamp company I am working with is wonderful. All the stamps on this tag are from the sets as well as the ATC's a few posts below. I'm not sure if I like this image as a bitmap or left as a photo. So it may look a little different in the final set.

Two Cuttlebug Cards

Here are two cards I made yesterday with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder. It is a simple but wonderful background. I just love the texture it adds to a card. The stamps are from Invoke and Studio G. Markers are Copic. I still really don't know how to use these markers but I find it so relaxing to color my images with them. The colors are so vibrant.

Exciting News

I have exciting news. I am working on 4 stamp sets of my antique images made of clear photopolymer to be released in the early summer!!!! I received my proofs of the first two sets. They still need a little tweeking, but it was exciting to see my images as stamps. Since most of them are photos, they stamp the best on glossy paper. Here is a sample of a card using one of the images (of course I did not use glossy paper). I was just fooling around with the stamps and made this card. It also fits the Mixed Media challenge this week Hats. I will be making a few more cards with the stamps so keep your eye out.

Playing with my Martha Stewart Border Punches

This is a card I made using the new MS border punches and the Cuttlebug embossing folder Swiss Dot. I made the diamond strip by running the paper through the Martha Stewart border punch 2x. The stamps are Inkadinkadoo.

The ink is Memento and I colored the dress with my Copics.

Two Cards

Here are two cards I made yesterday for occasions this week. The first one is for our wedding anniversary - 14 years! I used stamps from Gelatins. The second is a birthday card for a girl in my daughter's class using Penny Black and Cloud 9 stamps. I colored the image with my Copic markers. The background is an embossing folder by Cuttlebug. I lightly sanded it to reveal some of the white card. I am also working on a wall decoration for the birthday girl using the main stamp image. I will post it later.

Window to My Garden

It is a little dreary today, so here is my garden window. This window is actually cut out and so it has dimension. I put transparency in the cut outs, so it looks like glass.
