Card "Lets Party!" by Roberta Cercato

Hello friends!
Here I am with another nice project for Oddball art.
To make it I used the Creepy Cute Chronicles digital stamp printed on cardboard suitable for use with alcohol markers and colored with Spectrum Noir Classique.

To make the background, I enjoyed spraying different splashes of color with the Distress Spray
Finally, after cutting out the colored digital stamp and the sentiment, I assembled my card.

You like it?
See you soon with another colorful project!

Rainbows Follow Bad Weather

 Hi crafty ghouls,

I don't know what the weather is like in your country, but in Belgium it is a different season every day. Last week we had 20 degrees on Monday, rain on Wednesday, snow on Friday (I really want to put away my winter clothes), but one thing is sure, rainbows follow bad weather. Soooooo, I created this fun colorful card using this weeks Creepy cute chronicles image from Oddball Art CCC#148 and paired it up with Maddie IMG#109. Here is a step by step tutorial. Hope you like it

List of supplies:

-CCC148 + IMG109

-Copic markers

-Nuvo Drops

-Ranger Dylusions Dyalog stencil

-Texture paste

-White cardstock

-Purple cardstock

-Glue

-Scissors

IMG 109

Step 1:I created a raindrop background with white cardstock, the Ranger Dylusions Dyalog stencil and white texture paste.

Step 2:

While the background is drying I colored both the rainbow image CCC148 and Maddie IMG109 with my Copic Markers.

Step 3:

With scissors I cut out both images and glued the images onto the background and I added the sentiment that come together with the CCC148 image

Step 4:

Glue the card on purple cardstock and add some pink and yellow drops to finish it of.

It is nice to give away some of my cards - and it is even better to put them in a little folder that I have also made. Today I have made a folder to take some C6 size cards (about 4 by 6inches).

Step One:

Cut two T shaped pieces of card and score and fold as shown.

Step Two:

Glue the middle sections together and the flaps to form two pockets. Cut ribbon to tie around.

This will take the cards and envelopes...

Step Three:

Add the image to back and front - printed, trimmed and faux stitched around the edges with a fineliner.

Use the folder for a bundle of cards - the ones you can see here feature

Step One:

I made my background - I was using Crackling Campfire through a Tim Holtz leaf stencil to make this journal page the other day

Not sure if you can see the leaves...

Anyway the stencil was covered in ink so I spritzed it and slapped it down on a piece of water colour paper ending up with the negative leaf background.

I trimmed this to make a strip measuring about two thirds the width of a teal card base.

Step Two:

I printed the images, coloured them with Copics and cut them out out.
I then placed them over the background.

Step Three:

I added glossy accents to the eyes.

Anyway today I have added another page to my journal - these are the steps I went through...

Step One

My journal has black pages - so first I added a 8.75 in square of orange. I had printed the image on both yellow and white - I added the yellow version with the white sentiment matted on orange as the next layers. I used a gold marker to add some more colour to the 'Summer cloud'.

Step Two

I added the yellow sentiment, extra words and GOOD VIBES plus a little red Copic.

Step Three

I added a touch more red Copic and gold Zig pen and started adding a few more elements from the white version, coloured with Copics and cut out.

Step Four.

Just one more element to go...

Step Five.
Almost done...

Step Six.
Add finishing touches - some metal notes and flip-flop stickers.

Bummed Out Bear Card Tutorial

Hey friends, Chris here!

I'm returning this week with a quick tutorial for you using this weeks Creepy Cute Chronicles newsletter premium image (Bummed Out Bear) and Dehlia Fairy image #70 from the Oddball Stamps store.

First I applied a base of copic marker to the images.

For the bear I used light cream and the fairy white skin by Master Arts

Next I used colored Derwent pencils (skin tone) to deepen the color and add depth to the fairy and added Prisma premium color pencils to the bear

FOR THE CARD BASE
I used a 8.5 x 11 and trimmed it to 6 x 11
then scored it in 4 places at
1.5",  3",  5.5"  &  8"

I used the Oddball Digi Paper “Dots & Doodles” for the panels cut to the following sizes
small 1.25" x 6" medium 2 .25" x 6" and the large 2.75" x 6"

I chose Dots & Doodles  paper in letter size to make my colored images pop!

Dots & Doodles digi paper is also available in size 12" x 12"

Each of the smaller panels got a balloon, which are just two of the 17 images included in the premium collection.

The final panel displays Dehlia Fairy image #70 and Bummed Out Bear.

This is what it looks like all closed up.
