I just finished a commissioned piece late last night and I am so excited to share it with you! I sent the customer the pics this morning and received her approval on it and so I can now share it with the world!

I was hired to turn my customers wedding photo into a surreal scene that is my whimsical dark style of art. I was so excited about this one and it proved to be as much fun as I had expected!!! So without further ado, you've heard of Corpse Bride before I'm sure, well, how about Corpse Groom?

Like I already said this is a commissioned piece so it is not for sale but I am always available for hire! If you have an idea thats been floating around your head and you need an artist to pull it out and put it on canvas for you, Im your girl! Or if you have a fav celebrity or person and want a realistic portrayal of that person, then I'm still your girl!!! Here are a couple of examples of portraits that I have done for others before...

It Only Takes One Drop...

True Blood, the hit HBO special features an amazing character by the name of Lafayette. Anyone who is familiar with this show I am sure can already picture just who exactly I am talking about. Are you picturing him in your mind? Can you see him nice and clear? Good! I want you to take a look at this.....

This is a custom portrait that I just recently finished for a client. The painting is done in premium acrylics on a 16" x 16" x 1.5" gallery wrapped stretched canvas. I can honestly say that after many many hours over the last month that I have invested into this painting, that the client is and was more then pleased with the results.

10 Ways To Release The Creativity From Within...

Visit Art Galleries or Exhibitions as often as possible.
Try thinking about daily things in rhymes, it will help broaden your vocabulary which is especially usefull for creative writing.
Change your routine, i.e. drive a different route to work, go some where else for lunch.
Open your eyes and actually look at everything around you, you'll be surprised what you see.
Every once in a while try to do something that you enjoyed doing as a child, try to release the child from within, children are after all the most creative beings out there.
Clear your mind at least once a day, if you don't have a clear mind you won't have room for creativity.
Make sure you ask yourself an out of the ordinary question each and every day. i.e. What if the grass grew purple?
Try picturing your life as it if it were a movie or novel, what would happen next? Who would you meet?
Talk to someone or some people that you normally would ignore, they might have something interesting to say.
Carry a pocket sketch book with you always and note interesting things.
