Good Afternoon Blogger Friends.
It feels so good to at last, be back with a card. The craft room doors were closed a little longer than I expected.
I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year to you.
I have a card to show you today which I have made specifically for The Ribbon Girl DT call. I don't suppose I stand a chance but you have to be in it to win it as the saying goes.
I have used Magnolia Tilda with Fantasy Flowers. I had lots of fun with this card.
The base for this card has been cut from a Dutch Doobadoo stencil.
A product list with a link to the online stores are at the bottom of this post.
I have coloured the dress with an Inktense Pencil - Crimson and deepened the shadows with Distress Marker in Aged Mahogany.
The rest of Tilda has been coloured using Distress Markers. I love the effect of Gesso but have used it sparingly. I will no doubt use more when I have mastered the technique.
The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl - so soft and shiny and nearly too gorgeous to use!!!
I have use two new dies on this card from Noor Design - the 8 point die and Flourish Leaf.
The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.
I had added pearls and this fabulous butterfly amongst the flowers.
Lots of photo's today. Sorry but I wanted to capture all the various products used.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges
Thank you all for stopping by today and for your continued support.
I have been a bad blogger since Christmas. I have been taken up with our new arrival Brandon and family life. I can hopefully now get back into my usual routine and will be visiting your blogs more often.
