Inspiration

There is a weekend of inspiration over on Shimelle's blog in readiness for her new class The 20 Project. I loved the first layout by Kirsty so thought I would dust off my supplies and have a go.

I'm looking forward to doing some more challenges over the next few days.

Summertime photography challenge

Rinda is holding a summertime photography challenge over on her blog which I've been taking part in over the last few years. It's a great way to make you more aware of your surroundings and a lot of fun.

Here are a few more shots I can tick off the list.

4. A book or magazine read during 2016

9. Someone playing with, in, or around water.

17. Twins - at least we told her it was her twin!

19. A seasonal cocktail or beverage, a lemonade soda

We have until September to complete the hunt so there is plenty of time to join in

Memorandum Monday

It's always a special time when my little granddaughter comes to stay and we always have lots of fun. The rain even  stopped long enough for us to go on the beach. I think this must have been the best hour of the weekend.
I have now got a new name Nice Nanny. She has difficulty sounding the letter N of my name but says it perfectly this way, I think I can live with that!

waving to Sian as I rush out to get the washing in, looks like it's going to rain again.

Memorandum Monday

Saturday was Mum's 93rd birthday and I can't remember when my two sisters and I last all posed with her so I am counting this as my something new. I'm also using this photo as my first find for Rinda's summertime scavenger hunt
7. A family gathering

we took mum out for lunch

and there was lots of photo opportunities

the men obliging with a pose
and mum managing all her trifle despite leaving some of her dinner, I was never allowed to do that mum!

knowing her sweet tooth the family all seemed to have the same idea, chocolates

20. Someone laughing - my sister laughed so much she exhausted herself.

waving to Sian and hoping you are all having better weather than we are today.
