My mum

My beautiful mum left us on Monday. She left behind 3 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. She was loved by all who came into contact with her as she was the kindest, most caring person I know.
At 96yrs old her body had just had enough and she slipped away peacefully with her daughters by her side. The world feels very empty without her.

life at the moment

Life has been a mixture of happiness and sadness over the last few months. We have a new little granddaughter who has brought great joy to the family for many reasons. I'm so pleased my son was able to take her to see her Great Nan, at 96yrs old by far the oldest member of the family meeting the youngest. We have lots of photos and videos of the two together which is lovely.

Mum's health has gone downhill since then and I don't think we will have her much longer. She's had a long life with a big family who all love her very much. I know I've been very fortunate to have her this long but it's very hard. Love you mum x
