BE Inspired 38 & Mojo 312

Welcome back for another BE Inspired Challenge over at The Alley Way Stamps' blog.  Alison has come up with a fabulous collage of photos to get that crafty mojo going - take a peek:

As usual, I went with the colors in the photos...the orange and aqua and brown.  They are so much fun, it made me think about a party so decided to make a birthday card using sentiments from Wish BIG and yesterday's sneak peek set, Chill Out:

Day One of The Alley Way Stamps Sneak Peek {Chill Out}

Oh. Em. Gee. I am so excited to share this amazing set with you!  If you love snowmen like I do, you are going to YEARN for this set.  Alison has drawn some super cute images to kick off this month's new releases over at The Alley Way Stamps - Chill Out is a set with 4 snowmen, 3 birds, some snowflakes and three awesome sentiments.  

For my card, I decided to use the largest snowman with a little nest on his head and perch one of the birdies right on top...soooooo sweet!  I used this week's Retrosketches (rotated a bit...)

Are you as excited as I am about this set?  I hope so - and you are going to love the rest of the release.  I know I say this every month but, golly, let me just say I LOVE CHRISTMAS stamps!!  See you tomorrow for a brand new BE Inspired Challenge!

 

Colour Q #208 & CAS(E) this Sketch

I am SOOOOOO excited! It's officially FALL - my absolute FAVORITE time of the year.  The colors, the smells, the sound of leaves crunching under your feet...who DOESN'T love that stuff?  The nights and early mornings are sure cool but the days warm up nicely so you can still enjoy the outside.  :) Did I mention this is my favorite time of year? *grin*

Over at the Colour Q, we've got a fun combo for you this week.  I know many of us enjoyed the "Color Splash" challenge over at the Play Date Cafe when it was up and running, so Arielle has given us the same idea to work with for this week's challenge:

So - you pick...black and white and ONE other color that you love.  :)  Couldn't get much easier than that, could it?  For my card, I decided to go with black, white and red and make a CAS birthday card using this week's CAS(E) this Sketch:

The sentiment is from the TAWS set Wish BIG, and the background stamp is from Calypso - I just love the doodles in this set.

I'm a Member of the ColourQ Royal Court!!!

I am so glad it's finally today because I have been bursting at the seams for a few weeks with some AWESOME news to share with you...Yours truly is the newest member of the Colour Q Royal Court!  I am so very excited!  I have loved playing along with Arielle's color combos ever since way back in CQC#12 where I was crowned the winner.  Holy cow that was a long time ago!  I am so glad to have been asked to join this awesome group of talented ladies and can't wait to share it all with you.

For my first card, I got to use this awesome combo which includes two of the new In Colors:
