Amuck!

Hello, friends! I have been sharing cards made with new sets from Vera Lane Studio with images inspired by Hocus Pocus, and that's the focus of this post! I already shared my card with Winifred and my card with Mary, and today I am back with the final Sanderson sister--Sarah!

I used a box card set from The Stamps of Life for the main base of this creation, patterned paper from Honey Bee Stamps, and a bunch of different dies to add details. The sentiment and main image are from the Sarah set from Vera Lane Studios.

This card will lay "flat" for shipping purposes, which I love! I think this turned out super fun, and I am glad to have now completed my Sanderson sister trio!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

I chose black, spooky sentiment, spider. And, technically, witches. ;)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends! I hope you take some time to create soon and, if you can, enter some or all of these amazing challenges! Until next time, HUGS and happy crafting, friends!

Let Us Form a Calming Circle

Hello, friends! I posted a few days ago that I had seen new sets at Vera Lane Studio with images inspired by Hocus Pocus, so of course I HAD to get these amazing sets! I already shared my card with Winifred, and today I am back with Mary!

I used a die set from The Stamps of Life for my card base and some of the layering pieces--specifically the ones on the "top". The BOO! sentiment is from Great Impressions and, unfortunately, not available anymore.

I used the Vera Lane Studio sentiment as the prop up for this easel card. The spider web pattern is from another Great Impressions stamp. The patterned papers I used are from Honeybee Stamps. I colored the image with alcohol markers before fussy cutting it and adding it to the front with dimensional foam.

I had a ton of fun making this card, and I love the way it turned out! For one of the challenges I am entering, I have to explain why I like either Halloween or Fairies better, and I chose this card to enter for that reason! I LOVE Halloween. It's a time of year when children get excited and you get to dress up as someone or something else. As a teacher, it is one of my absolute favorite times of the school year because of all the fall fun we can have! I do love fairies, but if they are in competition with Halloween, Halloween has to win. Also...it includes fairies, technically! ;)

I am entering this creation into the following fabulous challenges~

As You Like It: Halloween or Fairies & WHY

CD Sunday Plus: Anything CD/USB/Digital

Crafting Happiness: Halloween

Make My Monday: Autumn Colors

Inspiration Station: Inspiration Photo

It's Fall, Y'all!

Hello, friends! I am back with another card for World Cardmaking Day! I recently found an adorable autumn image from The Paper Shelter, and I KNEW I had to make a card with it! Come take a peek...

I think this little gal is just too sweet! I knew as soon as I saw her that I would color her with autumn colors and surround her with die cuts!I also added some patterned paper that has a pierced border to echo the die cuts the image and framing layer.

I absolutely adored making this card, and I am super pleased with how it turned out! I think the colors are just perfect for fall, and the texture of the die cut leaves really helps finish this image off with an autumnal feel!

Joyful Elf w/ Conie Fong

Hello, friends! I’ve been gone for a bit while getting back into the swing of things at the beginning of the school year. But I’m back, and I am so excited to let you all know that I am now a permanent member of the Conie Fong DT, and I am so grateful for this opportunity! Today I’m sharing a fun holiday card with a *NEW* image from the Conie Fong Etsy shop

This sweet image is called Little Gift Girl Elf. I chose to make her super bright and cheerful for the upcoming holiday season! I added some patterned papers and ribbon from The Stamps of Life along with some bits of sparkle and die cuts to add to the fun feel.

Because I love this card so much, I chose to turn it into an easel card! This way, the loved one I send it to can display it more easily and remember the joy they bring to my life. I just love how this turned out!

Sweetheart Fairy

Hello again, friends!  I have been trying to make some changes in my life, and one of those changes was to spend a bit of time over my holiday break from school to craft "just because".  Well, I took a bit of time this afternoon to do just that!  I've made a sweet Valentine card to share with you, using a darling image from A Day For Daisies.  Come and see...

I colored this darling image, Love Angel, with Spectrum Noir markers, then gave her some sparkle with Stickles.  She is SO sweet, don't you think?!

The sentiment is a stamp from a monthly card kit by The Stamps of Life.  I thought the font and circular shape would go very well with my rounded corner theme.  I surrounded it with some punched leaves, also blinged up with some Stickles.

All of my elements were layered onto a card base that was gussied up with some pink polka dot patterned paper from the Egg-cellent Easter pack from MHKDesigns, as well as a few different patterns from my stash.  I really adore this fun card!  I hope you like it, too!  Please do leave me a comment below to let me know what you think! :)

I'd like to enter my Sweetheart Fairy into these fabulous challenges~

(This is a bridal shower card for my future SIL.)

(I did the last column.)

Thank you so much for stopping by today, friends!  I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges, start a new goal, or just craft for a bit!  I'll be back soon with more paper crafted creations for you--until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

DDD: Glossy Nails + Wednesday Wisdom

Hello again, friends!  It's hump day!!!  Hope your week is going well and I hope that you have an amazing finish to it as well!  I'm here with another card using digital elements from Diane's Daydream Designs.  I am just IN LOVE with her new girly sets--and this card was definitely made with a special friend in mind!

Here's the card~

Details~

Products used: It's a Girl Thing (sentiment), What Girls Like Color Set (images), Summer Breeze (floral paper)

I like to make cards that are especially for specific people.  I feel that God has given us talents and that we should use these talents to share His love with His children--who just happen to be our brothers and sisters! :)  This card reminds me of a special friend and it has already been sent to her.  She has helped me through many many trials and been a wonderful sounding board.  Proverbs 18:24 teaches us:

"A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother."

Friends truly are the family we create for ourselves.  I feel so blessed that the Lord has brought the friends into my life that He has--they are truly family to me!

Thanks for stopping by today to take a peek at my creation!  I hope you take some time today to show someone you love how much you love them!  And don't ever forget how loved YOU are!  HUGS to you all!
