Great Impressions: Spring Scene

Hi, friends!  I am back today to share a new card using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  My card today features a fun stamp that needs no sentiment, but it could go either way.  I chose to go with NO sentiment!  Take a peek...

This image is H267 Potted Flowers.  I stamped it and colored it with Spectrum Noir markers.  I then added some glitter, glossy accents, rhinestones, and a bit of faux stitching for more texture.

I then matted the focal panel with black cardstock.  After doing that, I added the panel to a kraft card base that was prepped with some fun polka dot paper.  I LOVE the way this turned out, and I hope you do, too!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Shake It!

Hi, friends!  I've got a super fun card today that uses some of the *NEWEST* stamps from The Stamps of Life!  I kept it pretty CAS to showcase the fun images and sentiments.  Check it out...

This card uses the *NEW* saltshaker2stamp and sayings4shakers sets.  I used the stamps to create my own patterned paper by stamping one of the sayings in different colored inks and adding the small shaker outline.  The shaker itself had some glitter added to it, then on top I put Glossy Accents to make it look like glass. So fun!

I just LOVE the main sentiment!  It's perfect for all your shaker cards, although this is not one.  I think that "Shake it, baby!" is appropriate for almost any celebration, don't you?!

I am really pleased with this fun card, and I hope you like it, too!  Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!  I appreciate all your feedback, friends! :)

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

Eat, Drink, & Be Scary!

Hi, friends!  I'm here sharing a fun Halloween themed card I made using some fun stamps from Red Rubber Designs!  I kept the layout pretty simple to keep the image the main focus.  Check it out...

The image, from the Be Scary set, was stamped onto some fun patterned paper from the Fruit Punch QwikPax paper pack.  I then paper pieced the darling witches hat.  I LOVE that it has a bow on it!!!  Some glossy accents for the eyes, layered punch pieces, liquid pearls, and a rhinestone flower finished it off. :)

I simply stamped the sentiment from the Be Scary stamp set onto a piece of white paper.  I distressed the edges before adding it behind the image on the card.

For the card base, I just layered some purple cardstocks and patterned paper, all with distressed edges.  A few orange/yellow rhinestones tie the liquid pearls and flower center in to add coherence.  I think this is super darling--I hope you agree!  Please leave me a comment below and let me know!

I'm entering this card into the following challenges~

Thank you so much for stopping by!  I am so grateful for all the visits I receive, as well as all the kind comments.  I hope you take some time to join in the fun with these fabulous challenges!  I'll be back later with more paper crafty inspiration.  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends!

Paper Sweeties August Release Sneak Peeks!

Hi, friends!  It's time for another release at Paper Sweeties, and this month is even more special, because we are celebrating THREE YEARS for Paper Sweeties!  WOOHOO!

We've got tons of fun NEW stamps to share with you--and I know you will love each and every set we have in store!  Take a peek at today's creation...

This card uses some images from the *NEW* Let's Party stamp set.  They are technically candy images, but I chose to color them with glitter gel pens, add some glossy accents, and make them into a fun banner of lanterns!  I accented them with Peppermint, Robin Egg, and Cookie Dough sequins, along with a string made with Licorice baker's twine.

The sentiment is from the *NEW* Wishing You stamp set.  This set has such fun sentiments that can be manipulated to say TONS of fun things!  I added more sequins here, too.

These lanterns were so much fun to make!  I hope you try to make some of your own! :)  I'd also love to hear your thoughts about my card in the comments below!

That's all for me today!  Thank you SO MUCH for stopping by!  Make sure to stop by the other gals' blogs to take a peek at what they have in store for you, too!

Here's the hop list~

Also, don't forget to check out our monthly challenge for your chance to win TONS AND TONS of prizes in celebration of Paper Sweeties' Third Birthday!  And check out our monthly kit, too!!!

I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration with these fabulous new sets!  Until then, HUGS and happy stamping to you all! :)

Great Impressions: A Fish Bowl

Hello, all!  I'm back with another creation that uses stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  This week, the design team is featuring tutorials that have been shared on the Great Impressions blog.  I chose to make a shaped easel card.  Come and take a peek...

I decided to create a fun fish bowl card using G421 Bubble Fish as my image.  I stamped it, colored it in with glitter gel pens, then added it to the front of the easel using Glossy Accents, reinkers, and Stickles.  I then added some seashells and pearls to create a "sea floor".

I chose E767 Bubble Over as my sentiment because I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good pun!  This sentiment just seemed to be perfect!  It's even circular in shape, like the fish bowl easel!

I super duper LOVE the way this card turned out!  It turned out better than I expected, actually!  What do you think?  Love or hate?  I'm excited to find out, so please leave a comment below! :)

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~
