TRCC #19: Pastel Rainbow

Hi, all! Happy JUNE! How has your summer started? I hope you are all well and staying safe! This month, we have another of our twice a year rainbow challenges for you! This month's challenge is called Pastel Rainbow! Take a peek at our fun inspiration for this month...

SO much inspiration there, don't you agree? I LOVE it! I really wanted to make the soft colors I used to POP here and there, so I went for a LOT of white with hints of pastel rainbow! Here's what I came up with...

I created this card with a bunch of washi's from my stash, a new Darice embossing folder, a die cut sentiment from Spellbinders, and papers from The Stamps of Life. I added some hints of color to the embossed panel with Sakura gel pens.

I totally love how this card turned out! I got to use some of my washi stash, and I love the way the embossing looks on the white card with hints of color! What do you think? I would love to hear your opinion about it in the comments below!

If you're looking for even more inspiration, you should take a peek at what the other amazingly talented gals on the design team have created, too!

TRCC #17: Totally Tiffany

Hi, all! Happy APRIL! Can you believe it's April already??? We decided to use a spring color for our inspiration this month at The Rainbow Card Challenge, and I hope you love it! This month's challenge is called Totally Tiffany! Take a peek at our fun inspiration for this month...

SO much inspiration there, don't you agree? I LOVE it! I was very inspired by the birds and flowers in the challenge photo, along with the beautiful turquoisy (it's a word now) blue. Here's what I came up with...

I created this card at a dear friend's house a few months ago. Everything I used was hers (THANK  YOU, LeAnn!), except the Darice embossing folder. The stamp set is from Stampin' Up! and everything else I used, including the colored pencils, are from Fun Stampers Journey. The Color Burst colored pencils are AMAZING!!! I love the way I was able to shade different blues to create these darling birds!

I totally love how this card turned out! I got to use new-to-me items and spend time with a friend while making it, so it is definitely a memory more than just a card! What do you think? I would love to hear your opinion about it in the comments below!

If you're looking for even more inspiration, you should take a peek at what the other amazingly talented gals on the design team have created, too!

Christmas 24: Embossing

Hello, friends! I am SO excited to be sharing another card created for the *NEWEST* holiday card challenge, Christmas 24! If you follow along, you will have 24 cards made before the Christmas holiday each year! Challenges are biweekly on the 1st and 15th of the month, and this time's challenge is EMBOSSING: HEAT OR DRY.  Take a peek at my creation...

I used an older stamp set from Hero Arts for the stamped image. I added highlights to the wreath image with Sakura glitter gel pens. I also added some texture by roughing up the edges of the white part of my focal panel.

For the bottom of my focal panel, I added some twine I recently purchased from The Dollar Tree, some punched leaves (punch by Stampin' Up!) that were also highlighted with gel pen, a paper flower from my stash, and a few enamel dots from The Stamps of Life.

The embossing folder I used is by Darice and was purchased from Consumer Crafts. I love the way it frames my focal panel with a lovely floral feel! I truly adore the way this simply card turned out! What do you think? Please leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges~

(3 enamel dots, 3 leaves, grps. of 3 berries)

TRCC #12: Regal Rainbow

Hi, all! Merry December! I cannot believe it's been about a year since I started The Rainbow Card Challenge! It has been such a fun ride, and I am so grateful for all of your support! This month's challenge is another RAINBOW MONTH! Take a peek at our fun inspiration...

Obviously, I HAD to go holiday with this one. ;) Okay, you DO NOT have to, but I wanted to! I had an idea to do a tree with rainbow "lights". So, I grabbed some Queen and Co sparkles, and got to work! Here's what I came up with...

I chose to use a patterned paper from The Stamps of Life that doubles as my sentiment. I used a Darice embossing folder for the snowy sky, glitter paper and a die from Poppy Stamps for the snow, and dies from Paper Sweeties to create the tree. Lots of sparkle and texture!

I totally love how this card turned out! The sparkle, shine, and texture is so fun and festive! I would love to hear your opinion about it in the comments below!

Please come and join us this month at The Rainbow Card Challenge! I LOVE seeing what everyone creates! If you're looking for even more inspiration, you should take a peek at what the other amazingly talented gals on the design team have created, too!

TRCC #11: Magically Metallic

Hello, my friends! Happy November! I am getting so excited for the holiday season, and I hope you are experiencing joy and gratitude each day, as well! I am so grateful that I still am able to craft and share what I make each month for The Rainbow Card ChallengeThis month's challenge is all about the magic of METALLIC! Take a peek...

I definitely wanted to go Christmas/holiday with this challenge. I have been sorting through things at home (thank you, Marie Kondo!), and I came across my poinsettia dies from Spellbinders. That had never been opened or used. WHAT?! Yep, had them for years! So, it was time for them to take center stage. Here is my completed card...

I used gold glitter paper, gold/silver lattice glitter paper, gold metallic paper, and pearlized paper to continue the shine and splendor of this card. I wanted to add a sentiment, so I opted to use one from a set (maker unknown) that also had rarely been used, and heat embossed it! I then punched it out with a punch from Stampin' Up!.A few gold embellishments from Close to My Heart finished this off.

So, do you think that I was able to create an elegant, yet CAS creation? I think I did--and I am looking forward to giving this away! I would love to hear your thoughts, as well! Please do leave me some feedback in the comments below!

TRCC #9: Beautiful Brown

Hey, all! Happy September! School is now back in full-swing, and my lie has gotten more hectic. How about yours??? I am so grateful that I still am able to craft and share what I make each month for The Rainbow Card Challenge! This month's challenge is all about BROWN! Take a peek...

So, I would have gone autumn or Christmas with this prompt, but I just purchased some DARLING dies and embossing folders by Darice from Consumer Crafts, and I HAD to use them! So, I did. I went with a dog theme. Here's my completed card...

How stinkin' cute is this little guy?! I adore him on top of this fun dry embossing! Yep, I did add a bit of pink. I had to--it made the card complete!

A sentiment from The Stamps of Life, a punched border made with a punch from EK Success, some patterned paper from Stampin' Up!, and a few rhinestone hearts from my stash completed this card! I am in LOVE with this cutie--and I hope you like him, too! I would love to hear your comments below!

CAS Flower Trio

Hi again, all! I've got another CAS creation to share with you, this one using more of my favorite punches and simple embellishments. Take a peek...

Another white embossed panel backed with black. I love how that little bit of black can add so much visual interest! Three flowers that were punched, shaped, popped up, and given yellow enamel dot centers flank the top and bottom of my printed and fussy cut sentiment. I adore the way this turned out, and hope you like it, as well! Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below!

I'm entering this card into these fabulous challenges:

(I chose punches!)

That's all for now! I have a handful of other cards I will be sharing here pretty quick, so stay tuned! Thanks so much for popping by! Sending crafty hugs your way!
