The Beach Boys - Shut Down Volume 2 (1964)

We're having such a hot summer in here, that I thought it would be nice to post some beautiful, refreshing melodies by The Beach Boys.
Some of my favourtite tracks, such as "Keep an Eye on Summer", "The Warmth of the Sun", "Surfer Girl", "Don't Worry Baby", "Louie Louie" and "Fun, Fun, Fun", are on these two records.
Have fun!

P.S. - The album "Surfer Girl" was removed because someone made a complaint about it.

Ray Manzarek - Carmina Burana (1983)

Here's a somewhat interesting approach to Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" by ex-The Doors keyboard player Ray Manzarek.
He was accompanied by Michael Riesman, Larry Anderson, Ted Hall, Doug Hodges, Adam Holzman and Jack Kripl.
The record was produced by Philip Glass and Kurt Munkacsi.

The Moog Cookbook - The Moog Cookbook (1996)

The Moog Cookbook - "Ye Olde Space Bande" (1997)

These two characters made history in the 90's playing cover versions of classic pop/rock anthems such as "Smells Like Teen Spirit", "Are You Gonna Go My Way?", "Ziggy Stardust", "Born to Be Wild" or "Whole Lotta Love", using a wide variety of moog and minimoog synthesizers along with other electronic instruments as well.
They've released only two albuns, so... here they are!
