Lawn Fawn Birthday card (The Rubber Buggy)
Hi everyone!
I'm here with a happy birthday scene created with Lawn Fawn stamps.
The scripty sayings clearstamps are so narrow and thin, you can easily manipulate them in any shape you'd like to - almost. A slight curve is no problem though.
The scene is made by masking it with a post-it note. I just cut a slope with my scissors, but you could use the hillside dies from Lawn Fawn as well. I only used on distress ink for the ground as well for the sky, just making it more or less intense by going over it randomly with my ink blender tool.
The trees are stamped with fisrt generetion stamping and double stamping, instead of second generation stamping as that turned out to be too light.
Products used from The Rubber Buggy store:
Lawn Fawn 12x12 Let's Polka paper
Lawn Fawn Snow day stamp set (bunnies)
Lawn Fawn Toboggan together stamp set (trees)
Distress ink Bundled sage
Distress ink Tumbled glass
Stamping supplies (acrylic block, memento tuxedo black ink, distress ink blending tool, double sided tape, neenah solar white cardstock)
Thank you for visiting!

Distressed background card for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I have had a card in mind for some time now as my DT-project for The Rubber Buggy, but never gotten around to actually pull out my distress inks. I must get the new colors, I truly still am in love with them.
However, lately I have seen a few cards using the technique I had in mind and they are absolutely stunning. Mine is nowhere near as beautiful, so I'm glad I waited. Otherwise I would probably have abandon the idea.
I used two colors of distress ink. I had three in mind, but I just loved the evergreen bough and tumbled glass so well together, I just stuck with those. I aslo used watercolor cardstock, as I planned to spray the paper with shimmer mist. In the end it would probably have worked fine with regular cardstock as well, as I didn't need that much mist as I thought.
I embossed the sentiment with white superfine detail and I'm amazed with how crisp the small words came out.
Products used from The Rubber Buggy store:
Wplus9 design studio Handlettered thanks
Distress ink Evergreen bough
Distress ink Tumbled glass
Ranger embossing powder white superfine
Stitched rectangle die
Craft medley cup sequins go green
Blue Fern Studios mist winter mint
Stamping supplies (Neenah cardstock white and black, watercolor paper, acrylic block, scor tape)
Thank you for visiting!

Bokeh Birthday for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
First, let me just tell you how much I'm in love with bokeh pattern...
I'm currently hoarding all papers I can get my hands on.
So imagine my delight, when I discover that you can make your own paper...
Yes! I'm always the last to know - LOL!
For my background I pre-watered my watercolor paper and then used my paintbrush to move the ink to the paper and randomly dropped it in different places.
When the paper was dry, I made my own stencil using circle die cuts from Memory box, I used the four smallest circles. But you can also use the stencils from memory box HERE and HERE to achieve the same look. Lawn Fawn has also in their recent release a stamp set for you to easily create this background, you can find that stamp set HERE. Don't worry where you put the circles, it'll come together. I put some in different sizes all over the paper. Some hanging off the side, some overlapping etc. I actually had to assembly this card, before I liked it.
The sentiment is from a Kaisercraft clear stamp and I have masked it, so I was able so seperate it into two parts. I really like it like that. The dark gray layer that I've used as a mat is me recycling packaging.
Products used from the Rubber Buggy store:
Watercolor cardstock
Distress ink mustard seed
Distress ink refiller peeled paint
Distress ink refiller dried marigold
Lawn Fawn pigment ink Yeti
Memory Box open studio die stitched circle layers
Kaisercraft clearstamp Birthdays
Lawn Fawn ink freshly cut grass
Lawn Fawn ink liqrice
Neenah cardstock Solar White
Stamping supplies (ink applicator, doublesided tape, acrylic block, paint brush)
Thank you for visiting!

Christmas is coming
Hi everyone!
Can you believe we're already in to mid august? What happend to summer? Where did the days go?
Anyway, time to look forward, instead of missing those days of sun. For me, next on the agenda is Christmas!!! I know, that there is a lot going on for the rest of you. But in Sweden, neither Halloween or Thanksgiving is big. Well, that depends... Halloween is upcoming, what kids don't jump on an opportunity to celebrate a weekend of dressing up and getting free candy - sugar rush!
I'm sure I will embrace that weekend soon enough, but as my son is not known to sugar yet, I think I'll wait. So Christmas... my favorite time of the year!! Hoping for lots of snow this year!!!
So here is my DT-project for The Rubber Buggy, Kellie has already started to fill the store with this years new releases. But I turned to last years goodies, that I yet haven't finished playing with.
I free based the shape of a Christmas wreath. Is that the word? I hope you get what I mean by the pictures. I used first and second stamping to create some depht and texture. I hope you understand which technique I mean by this picture. Where I have stamped the first impression and then stamped a second impression, without reinking my stamp.
After I stamped all my items, branches, pinecones and holly berries. I added some ice stickles to really make some of the decorations pop. The red ribbon with the bell is from my stash, something I've probably saved from some old packaging. The background with snowflakes is made with a stamp from the same stamp set by Lawn Fawn and I've used embossing ink to achieve a tone on tone look.
I hope you like Christmas, you'll be seeing a lot more Christmas project from me - wink, wink:)
Products used from the store:
Lawn Fawn Deck the halls stamp set
Distress ink Peeled paint
Distress ink Festive berries
Distress ink Brushed corduroy
Distress ink embossing reinker
Ranger ice stickles Gold
Ranger ice stickles mint ice
Ranger ice stickles Christmas red
Thank you for visiting!

By the sea card for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I'm here with another card for The Rubber Buggy.
I had a blast with this card, using lots of different techniques. I used distress ink on watercolor paper for my background and then I dropped some water randomly to create the look of pools behind my stamped image.
I stamped my Pearl Tilda on super smooth Neenah cardstock, my go to paper for copic coloring and carefully fuzzy cut her to place on my background. In order to get all the details from the stamp with the bubbles I also stamped her on to the background. Saving me some time with the scissors. I also stamped some beautiful seashells on watercolor paper and used distress ink and water to color them.
I then gave them a bit of shimmer with my wink of stella and that really made the image pop. I believe that the distress ink somewhat reacted with the stella marker. But I can't say that for sure.
Products used from the store:
Magnolia Rubber Stamp PEARL TILDA
G45 Cling Stamp set By the Sea #1 (no longer availiable in the store)
Spellbinders nestabilities foliage (no longer availiable in the store)
Copic markers
Distress ink evergreen bough
Distress ink iced spruce
wink of stella clear pen
Stamping supplies (watercolor paper, water color brush, doublesided tape, bonefolder, scissors)
Thank you for visiting!
