Hi everyone!
I'm trying something out of my comfort zone. Playing with pink tones...
I have to admit, I'm not good at it. So I had to balance it with a lot of white and dark blue.
I've cut the polaroids myself, eyeballing the size. The backgrounds of the photos are just distress paint, which is very opaque and make perfect fake cardstock - LOL!
I colored the stamped images with my copics and fuzzy cut them before I stuck them in the frames. Great tip if you are like me and love colouring hair, but not so much the clothes. I can get away with my misplaced shadows in hair, but on clothes it just looks plain dumb :)
The sentiment "Dare to dream" is part of a Kaisercraft clear stamp. I just masked off the rest "BIG".
Products used from the store:
Saturated canary rubber stamp yoga mamas
Saturated canary rubber stamp Rebecca
Lawn Fawn cuts puffy clouds border
Copic markers
Kaiserkraft clear stamp dream big

Namaste with The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I'm here with another card for The Rubber Buggy and I hope you like it :)
I mixed a lot of products and brands for this one. How silly of my that's something to overcome - LOL!
I love the YOGA MAMAS stamp! I colored her with my copic markers. For here hair I used E51, E55, E57 and for her clothes I used BG45 & BG49 and I'm loving this combo. All the layers of paper are leftover scraps and they go so well together. The little birds are chipboard pieces from the same collection by G45 - don't you love it when someone else is doing all the hard work for you.
The sentiments of the card is made with 2 set of stamps. "Namaste" is made with Milo's ABC. A great stamp set and so easy to use. The rest of the sentiment is from the awesome Handlettered thanks stamp set from Wplus9 design studio. So loving the versatility of that one and the fact that they both are clear stamps really helps getting a perfect position.
The piece that I stamped the sentiment on had the word "baby" showing, so I covered it with a strip of washi tape. But it works...

Saturated canary for The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
I hope 2014 have been blessed so far.
I'm here with a very simple card to make using a stamp by Saturated Canary from The Rubber Buggy.
I just coloured the image in the corner by the paper, cut it out and layered it on some background paper from the Divine paper pad 6x6 by Prima. That really made the card, just to top it of I made my own emellishment with diecuts and stamps and layered it on washi tape.
The sentiment is from a stamp set by My favourite things.
I'm loving the clean look of this card and you will probably see more of this design by me.
Products used from the store:
Saturated canary rubber stamp TALKIE
Copic markers
washi tape, peach with dots
Divine paper pad 6x6, prima marketing
MFT die-namic decorative doily
Wild Rose Studio, clear stamps CIRCLE GREETINGS
Stamping supplies (smooth cardstock, memento ink, scor tape)
Thank you for visiting!

Back to school challenge at The Rubber Buggy
Hi everyone!
Please join in our new challenge at The Rubber Buggy - this month it's back to school!!!
I've stamped the sentiment twice, one in black and one in yellow using colorbox graphic 45 dye ink to create a shadow and a depth. I've also used venetian lace ink to stamp the post card from French country #3 on the yellow background behind the picture.
The rulers are from Prima Engraver paper, but as it's back to school theme I just had to put them in there:) To balance everything that's happening on the left side of the card I used a memory box die cut circle on my picture.
Products used from the Store:
Saturated canary rubber stamp TALKIE
Copic markers
Magnolia chandilier carland yellow
WOC 15mm open roses (coloured with LSG Rudolf's red nose red, but you can find several colours in the store as well)
Graphic 45 patterns & solids 6x6 paper pad French country
Graphic 45 patterns & solids 6x6 paper pad Steampunk spells
Graphic 45 rubber stamps French country #3
Bakers twine, yellow
Thank you for visiting!
I can't wait to see what you create :)

How do you wrap a hug?
How do you wrap a hug?
That was what I thought straight when I saw Krafty Kate from the Saturated canary:)
As usual, coloured with my copics - I don't know how I managed without them before:)
The banner is from MFT and I cut it apart to be able to bend it my way. I added some string from my stash and paper flowers as well.
I used a spellbinders to create the frame of my image and the label for the sentiment. I edged them with Tim holtz distress ink Antique linen.
Do check out The Rubber Buggy store! Kellie keeps stocking the goodies by the minute:) She also carries Spellbinders now - hurray!
The design team is also in search for new super talented members, so what are you waiting for? Check out the details HERE

Call me
Here is my take on Saturated canary talkie!
She is adorable listening in her tin can phone - I haven't made one for ages:) I'm really pleased I colour it with my copics:) She is mounted on a background of Magnolia 6x6 pink paper from the princes & princesses collection. You can also find ribbon and paper flowers in the shop. I made the pink pearl spray myself and the crystal spray is Magnolia chandelier garland white.
Don't forget to participate in our challenge this month!
Show us some love and add a heart to your project:)
Hugs Pi!
P.S Don't we all do this, finish a card and then see what clearly should be improved:p
Well, for me it's the sentiment... It should, of course, say "too long since we've spoke"...

Heart challenge @therubberbuggy
Well folks!
Today is a new challenge coming up at the rubber buggy and we want to see hearts:)
With Valentine coming up I'm sure that's an easy one.
Last year Kellie introduced me to Magnolia and this year it seems to be Saturated Canary.
Krista is one talented gal and for Valentine she gave away a freebie - Hugs and kisses
She was perfect for this challenge and I had so much fun colouring her with my copics.
On the bottom of the card I have green grossgrain ribbon, I've layered some lace and some bling. I've also glued some flat backs to the lace.
The tickets are from Miss cutieput inspiration, I copic coloured them to match the image.
The paper flowers are coloured with Lindy's stamp gang sprays salt water taffy and a bit o'bubbly. I also added a MFT flourish.
Now it's your turn to play!
Challenges entered:
Saturated canary challenge - #36 Color inspiration
Paper crafting journey - LOVE challenge
Inky chicks challenge - Valentine or anniversary
