just so everyone is clear...i never win anything...ever. but...i have won a little bloggity blog award.

the fabulous Octavia from Octavia and The Ocean nominated me for this award. and i love her for that. so first of all, a big thank you to her for the nomination. it is greatly appreciated.

The Liebster Award is for blogs that have 200 followers or less. The word "Liebster" is German for kindest, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, valued, cute, pleasant, endearing and welcome. everything that describes my blog of course ;)

1. 11 facts about morgan:

1. i got my wisdom teeth out over a year ago and half my tongue is still partially numb

2. i dislike small dogs in a big way

3. i have to have the closet doors shut when i sleep

4. i get personally offended when someone doesn't like a movie i love

5. i enjoy sad endings to books and movies

6. growing up i really wanted to be a mailman....really bad.

7.  at the grocery store {if time permits} i'll choose the longest checkout line so i have time to read the magazines while waiting

8. when ordering at a restaurant i have to know what everyone else is getting before i decide {everyone always seems to order better than me....so i have to ask now}

9. i got into the semi-finals in a ping pong tournament on a cruise ship {i beat an asian...and he was really mad. he asked for a rematch after the tournament}.

10. i love lamp light, don't love overhead lighting. 

11. i hate seafood.....anything from the water really. even tuna fish.

1. what would your sleep schedule be like if you had nothing to do?

i would wake up around 8:30. take a nap at 2 ish. and go to sleep before or around midnight.

2.  if some magical stranger paid your airfare to go anywhere in the world, where would you go?

i would fly to london and then spend a good solid month touring europe.

3. would you take the chance to live off the land if you could?

ummm....no. but my dad would...and has {he has a degree in wilderness survival}...so i feel like to not shame him i should say yes. but i'm still gonna go with no. 

4. does your favorite color have any special meaning to you? 

nope...should it?

5. what do you do for a living, and what would you like to be doing to make a living?

i am currently a student at isu doing cosmetology. and i would like to be graduated and already making a living doing that. but ideally...i would want to be paid to travel.

6. do you have a celebrity idol?

i don't know about "idol" but i really enjoy hugh jackman and rachel mcadams. {among many others}

7. do you play any instruments/consider yourself to have any musical prowess? 

i can barely play the piano and i sing

8. what was the last book you read, what was your opinion of it?

Reached by allie condie. i did not enjoy it at all. left me feeling nothing and unfulfilled.

9. what was your childhood dream job?

i just mentioned this in my "facts" but....a mailman.

10. what is the most influential piece of music in your life?

my goodness this is a tough question. i don't know that i have an answer but i've always been struck by broadway {most especially les miserables} great music legitimately makes me feel stuff. :)

11. are there any words or phrases that you say as a bad habit and wish you could stop?

not really. i don't cuss as a habit. i don't really have bad speech habits.

abc's of me

so here i am....sitting in the study lounge of the engineering building on isu campus.

my husband had a study group after school and we drove together...therefore...i shall read, instagram, look up cars i want to buy, apartments i want to move to, random "top" lists on forbes website {i weirdly do that quite often}, and most importantly, blog. :)

 

i was searchin through some blogs and i found this girls blog who did a little "abc's of me" dealio. i have some other things i need want to blog about, but this one is easy and fast and i'm tired, guys. plus i got some reading to do in my book. {the book thief...anyone read it?..i hear it's good. i'm only on page 46}.

i was 20 when i got my first kiss....it was my one and only first kiss, cause he is now my husband. :)

ummm....most people just call me "morg" but some other interesting ones are:

smorgisborg, morgie, sugar, morganite, girl-morgan, morganism, morgasm {thanks savannah....}, you know...the usual.

 

Who is your celebrity crush?

 

guys, i'm embarassed to say i have quite a few celebrity crushes {joseph gordon-levitt, tom hardy, russell crowe, john krasinski} but an all time celebrity lover of mine is:

 

 

none other than Hugh Jackman.....mmhmm..
