Do you remember Steve Burns of Blue's Clues?
I used to watch Blue's Clues when I was like 10-14 years old. LOL
Yeah the show was meant for younger kids but I guess I'm just a late bloomer. another LOL
Ever wonder what happened to Steve Burns after he left the show in 2002? This is how he looks like now.
Is Steve Burns dead?
I saw on Twitter that Steve Burns is dead. And then another tweet replied Steve is not dead.
Nothing puts a crimp in your day like finding out you're dead. Steve Burns is used to it. Time after time since 1999, in countless newspaper interviews and TV appearances, he's had to deny kicking the bucket. For some reason the public won't buy it.
The claim that Burns died of a heroin overdose first popped up on the Internet in 1998, according to the producers of "Blue's Clues," the kids' show that made the actor famous. No one knows precisely how or why the rumor began. At one point it was spreading so fast that Burns' own mother heard it and phoned him to make sure he was still alive (details from E! Online). Although almost every year rumor has it that Steve is dead, at present, Steve Burns is still alive. Check out his web site: http://steveburnsrocks.us/

The Best Things in Life are FREE
I have always believed in the saying that the best things in life are free. A sincere smile, a hug, a kiss, watching a beautiful sunset by the shore, lovely dreams, laughter, love songs, a pat on the back, sharing a special treat, sleeping on a soft bed, accomplishments, watching your favorite basketball team win, sitting by a fire in Winter, finding a seashell, moonlight, listening to the cute questions of a child, clear water, forgiveness, family dinners, bubble baths, a garden of flowers, finding a starfish, finding real friends and faith in God are just examples of free things that can truly make us happy. In this troubled world full of problems that could result to emotional stress, we should learn to appreciate little things that can make us happy.
Even those little freebies given to me like key chains, greeting cards, wedding souvenirs and etc can already draw a smile on my face. Well, who doesn't love free stuff? Oh I just love free stuff. I think everyone loves free stuff. Having said all that let me introduce to you a site that gives a lot of free stuff.
Free stuff UK is a web site that showcases information about where to get free product samples, free music, free competitions, free games, free health tips and other fitness tutorials and even free cash. There are also free e-books, free eloctronic gadgets and a lot more tips on getting freebies online.

Invisible Braces
A good teeth alignment is an asset because it gives you the confidence to smile with all your heart. And a nice smile may brighten someone's day. But what if your not-so-aligned teeth is preventing you to smile with confidence? Dental braces may be the answer. However, a lot of teeth braces users are complaining that besides the possibility of having their lips cut up, the braces are making them look ugly and geeky.
It is a good news that Invisible Braces are now available!
I saw a video on Youtube about a testimonial of a patient named Ade who used Incognito Invisible Braces treatment for 3 months. He said he has always wanted to wear teeth braces to fix the alignment of his teeth but doesn't want to look around like having a train track on his mouth. When he tried Invisible Braces by Incognito he was quite impressed because it is small, discreet and tight. After about 3 months of using Incognito braces he noticed that there has been noticeable teeth improvements. He noticed it the way his jaws are lined up.
He said he is quite pleased with the result because after a couple of weeks of using the Invisible Braces, he is already speaking normally. Another good thing about incognito braces is that it is quite easy to clean after eating. He recommends Incognito braces especially to those people in their late or mid 20's like him because he believes that it doesn't look good to have braces in your late or mid 20's especially if you're working. But with Incognito braces, people wouldn't notice that you are using braces because it is placed behind the teeth.
He said the progress has been amazing. In just 3 and half months, the improvement of his teeth alignment is very remarkable. He used to notice a small gap between his two front teeth but now they are so closed to each other.
I can't wait to try the Invisible Braces.

Home Remedies for Acne or Pimples
Acne is a common problem among teenagers. However, the disease is not restricted to any age group; adults in there 20s - even into there 40s - can get acne. Although, this is not a life threatening health condition, this can still upset you and may ruin your day.
In order to better address this problem, it is important that we understand its main causes:
* Hormones. Acne by its very nature can be considered a hormonal disease. Hormones are responsible for the maturation of the oil glands in our skin. This is why children do not experience acne. The oil surplus created by these hormones may be instrumental in clogging hair follicles where bacteria grows and causes acne pimples and blemishes.
* Dirt. Based on my own experience, if I forget to wash my face before going to sleep or haven't changed my pillow for like 2 weeks, that's the time I see pimples on my forehead and cheeks. So guys and girls, it really pays to have proper hygiene.
* Stress. Are stress and acne related?
Yes. Stress can aggravate symptoms. Stress is any undue emotional or physical strain.
Examples of emotional stress:
* Anxiety regarding an upcoming big event, like a wedding or important test
* Bullying
* Relationship problems
* Overwhelming workload
* Health of a loved one
How does stress affect acne?
The average acne sufferer's skin contains clogged pores that they can't even see. Stress causes an inflammatory response in the body and can cause the walls of these pores to break. When this happens, the body responds with redness around the broken pore, and an influx of pus (a zit). Source: Acne.org
It's a good thing there are a lot of available home remedies for acne.
Let me just name about 5 of my favorite home remedy procedures.
* Mix honey and cinnamon powder until you come up with a paste-like mixture. Apply it to your face and wash your face next morning.
* Mix one tablespoon of groundnut oil with one tablespoon of lime juice. Apply it to your face and leave it for about an hour. Then rinse your face afterwards.
* Apply ripe fresh tomato paste on pimples and wash it after an hour.
* It is also said that drinking wheat grass juice is good for the skin and may prevent or cure acne.
* Steam your face for 10 minutes or have a sauna bath for about 10-15 minutes. Then pat dry your face. Wash your face with any anti-bacterial facial wash and leave for about 5 minutes, then wash off. Then use moisturizer to moisturize your face.
To keep your skin under control, observe the following suggestions:
* Wash your face daily, at least 2-3 times a day to reduce oiliness of the skin.
* Have a well-balanced regular diet with lots of fresh juices.
* Take a lot of Vitamin C and E because these are necessary to rejuvenate the skin.
Disclaimer: Results may vary depending on skin type. When acne is beyond control, please see a dermatologist.
Hey dear reader, please feel free to contribute any home remedies for acne you may have known to be effective. I'd appreciate it very much. ^_^

How to Get a Girlfriend
I was surprised when I saw a searched keyword used by a visitor from Google and found his way to my blog. He searched "How to Get a Girlfriend". Now, whoever you are, perhaps, google led you to my site because we have something in common. We desperately need tips to get a girlfriend.
So I've read a few sites and some magazines regarding the subject matter and I have come up with 5 major tips on how to get a girlfriend. Do you have your pen and paper ready?
Okay, first off, start with a positive mindset. You may not be the hottest guy in town but one thing's for sure, some girl out there may be just right for you and simply waiting for your attention. Be confident. To look confident, have a good posture. Avoid self-pity.
2. Be friendly. Try to reach out to more people. Try to be funny. But if you're not naturally funny, don't try too hard around her. Situational humor through good timing is more interesting than a practiced punched-line jokes.
3. Connect with her. Find out what you have in common, and reward her with a smile and a story of your own if she tells you something unique about herself to which you can relate. Don't pretend to be someone you aren't. You may think you will win her over with like-mindedness, but in the end she will find you out. Find a common interest, something you both like instead.
4. Show your interest. The best way to get out of the "friend trap" is to avoid it from the start. After finding common interests, make your intentions clear. Ask for her number. Give her your phone, tell her "Put your number in my phone and I'll call your phone so you'll have mine." Tell her you'd like to take her out for coffee or dinner, or whatever is appropriate for your age and interests. Try giving gifts if you can afford it. Girls are very fond cute cartoon characters and jewelries so if you can afford it perhaps, try spending a few bucks to buy let's say hello kitty necklaces.
5. The last and most overlooked part in how to get a girlfriend is that you must look for someone who is compatible with you. If you’re a geek that enjoys playing video games, then go for a cute geeky girl that enjoys playing video games as well. If you’re into going outdoors, then find a girl that enjoys the same things as you. Getting a girlfriend can be a very rewarding experience if you choose right and will enhance your quality of life to levels you never thought possible, who knows, she might end up being your fiance one day!
