It seems appropriate to follow up yesterday's post of the 1974 Kusan Catalog with some images of the masks, costumes, and packages. As I mentioned previously, Kusan didn't have the same impact as Ben Cooper or Collegeville
on the market, but their products had equally beautiful box art and
costume designs. Personally, I don't care for the masks as much as other vacuform manufacturers, I do feel that the box art alone makes these very collectable examples of Halloween nostalgia...

1974 Kusan Catalog
This 1974 Kusan catalog is chocked full of brilliantly colored illustrations combined with gaudy but beautiful mid-70's graphic design. Kusan costumes didn't have the same impact as Ben Cooper or Collegeville on the market, but their products had equally beautiful box art and costume designs.
Kusan masks and costumes can be rather tough to track down these days, with only a handful popping up for sale on auction sites each year. A big thanks goes out to the Plaid Stallions blog where these scans were originally posted several years ago...
