Almost tag 12

Whilst looking for some inspiration I decided to have a go at Tim's tag 12 but only  got half way through as I  then went off on a tangent and made a topper for a birthday card for a friend whose lost a lot of weight ( well done Karen)

Now it just so happens it fits into the Fashionable Stamping challenge ... use a stencil or mask
Thank you for taking the time to visit :)
Right  back to stalking my mail box waiting for the start of Tim's 102

2 for one at the Craft Barn

With the mojo having taken a sabbatical and now back hurray :) I'm trying to catch up with the calendar challenge at the Craft Barn there's a new one each week but all are still open so you can still take part in the past ones great idea Isa :)
Week 1 is blue and crackle. I've used Dreamweaver crackle paste and coloured it with chipped sapphire  DI love this Papermaina stencil
Week 9 is back to school. I've used Tim's on the edge die to cut my backround from chipboard ( thanks Marie I've even gone out and bought a big shot ) made the back ground with some old pages from one of my sons school books and added some red pen nope it was not there but we all remember the dreaded red pen lol distressed with old paper DI made a page with a joureling stamp and that title why was it always what I did in the holidays for the first day back in september lol then you pen leaks and you try and clean it up and it smudges. I had great fun and lots of memories making this one

Embossing paste

Over at the Craft Barn the challenge is to use Dreamweavers embossing paste and the are some wonderful examples on show by the DT using the different types of pastes, not haveing any I had to wait for mine to arrive, I decided to go with the crackle paste which takes the distress inks beautifully.. LOVE it !
So for my go with it I've made a card and used an Anna Griffin stencil and stamp Wild honey and Peeled paint DI inks.......... er yes they were still on my desk from the last project but love them together and they worked well with the vintage style :)

Think I'm going to have a go on a box with it next .
Thank you for stopping by
