Wax Resist

Gingersnaps Spicy supply challenge is to use Wax so have been mulling this over the the holiday and thought owww wax resist no mess no heat just  a white wax crayon or you could use a candle .
If you stamp before doddling your image will be to the foreground and if you stamp after the doodle it will reciede. so I've had a little play and made a card and an ATC book cover

The card and book are done on regular card stock and distress inks, there are 3 signature so thats 12 atc's held in place by wrapping with fibers and a hair tidy to keep it all in place, the ATC is on glossy card  I simply coloured the area were I didn't want the ink.
Off to play some more now lol

With a bottle cap, bees wax and scraps of paper I've made a little birthday card .
Inspired by Isa at the Craft Barn :)

Wax Crayons

I've used technique 1 for wax crayons on this months craft stamper where you heat the paper with an iron and then applied the wax crayons.
It's birthday cards at the come and get it challenge so Happy Birthday Cindy
Main image stamps from Paper Artsy
Tip If you want to change the first letter of a word mask with stickytape while inking and then remove before stamping, I did this with the H of happy and used a much bigger one :)

In my garden

Well over on the lots to do challenge blog the the theme this week is wax and we were given advanced warning so have been working on it the last week, thanks for the push as I have only used it once before :)
I've use the wooden base of a brie cheese box and the image is from a paper napkin, I used bees wax from a local honey man but it's a bit dark . I added some pools of wax and stamped into it with some little hands added a little colour with perfect pearls and stickles in the center of the flower all topped of with a friendly plastic flower .

Thank for stopping by and hope you like my effort
