Lawn chair.
Douse the lights inside.
Pitch black patio works great!
Get comfy.
Stare broadly over the neighbor's rooftop.
Giggle.
Giggle again and again.
Yup--23 times.

I counted.
There's something about meteor watching that appeals to me.
Ohhhh, and they were gorgeous as they streaked across the sky.

Himself saw three and promptly gave up to the bugs.
I did warn him about the need for bug wipes!

What a beautiful photo - what a wonderful experience. I have never seen anything like it ....and I certainly wouldn't know how to photograph it.
Hope all was OK for you - no clouds.
Have a good day, Boonsong
You have clear skies? I'm jealous! It's been nothing but rain every night here, we got 5 inches last Tuesday!
I'm heading up north this weekend and hoping for clear skies. I was told in a phone call yesterday that the Northern Lights were out in full force.
Glad you enjoyed the meteors.
Peace.
how was it?? I really want to go out to Yosemite for next year. Gotta look at the timing. you know it happens specifically for me, right?
Oh how wonderful!
Well you have to have something to make up for your storms and floods and snow and all that so you deserve those meteors.
(Still, jealousy)
Oooo...oooo...oooo!
How beautiful!
Lucky you, Mel!
It's been like billion years since I've seen a shooting star.
Also, like a billion years since I've seen a lightening bug.
I'm so deprived, aren't I?
*sad face*
Enjoy, dear lady! Wish I was there!
