A Happy Dance!

The HNA Dance!!! I have done it finally. This was a 147 by 312 design, in one of the bands i did one row extra so it is 147 by 313 for me. On 14 count that comes to 10.5 by 22.35 hmm feels good as i write this, LOL.

Started in end of April 2011, this was a 20-part SAL one part sent every 3-weeks. The deadline was 31st August. I completed this on the night of 6th October just SEVEN minutes before midnight.

My first longish design was BOINK and then Alla Turca and now this. I also need to visit the framers, as all these are waiting to be framed.

So what i will stitch next? Nope, not a new project. I am choosing Frederick the Literate over Adriana. I know i have just over 5 months for my son's 5th birthday, so i just want to complete this one at least before his 5th!! I just have the backstitches for most of the books, and top and bottom shelf. Goldwork all over this project is still untouched. Now that my stitchingness has come back to me, let us see when i will show you all another Happy Dance:)

This is how Frederick looks at the moment

Book-wise i am reading my 18th book of the year. I am loving The Memory Keeper's Daughter. Very nicely written book. The part i could do without are the affairs which one of the characters is/will have. I REALLY feel sorry for the nothingess in her marriage, but somehow the affair(s) make it worse. The book nevertheless is GREAT:)

Wishing you all a great week and satisfying stitching time. Thanks to all my visitors, and those who leave me comments
