Guest Designer :: Lori Tecler

Good morning!

We are very happy to have Lori Tecler as our Guest Designer this month! We are always so excited to see what she makes with our stamps!

Here is what she has created to share with us today!

I made a little gift set that’s perfect for the cooler weather we’re just starting to have around here. The set includes a card and a K-cup caddy that holds a single K-cup.

I used the Daily Grind set and the Bit of Burlap background stamp on both the card and the caddy. I love how the burlap stamp adds just a bit of texture so quickly and easily!

The caddy is made from this template that I designed for a project that was published in Paper Crafts magazine. It’s made from one piece of cardstock and can be dressed up and personalized however you like. The little mug from the Daily Grind set was a perfect fit for the front of the caddy.

Thank you SO much for joining us, Lori!

Make sure you stop by Lori's blog
for even more inspiration!

She'll be back later in the month with another project to share with us!

Have a great weekend! :)

Guest Designer :: Kate Cordero

Hi Everyone, it's Kate from Scrappers Creative Corner
Kate's Creative Corner

Today is my last Guest Designer post for Market Street Stamps, it's been fun and I so love their stamps especially the Background ones.  So go check out the store, HERE
For my First Card, I used Background Grace Stamp and for the Sentiment Pawprints on our Hearts Stamp Set.  I embossed the Background Stamp with White Zing embossing powder PTI Paper called Hibiscus Burst.
For my 2nd Card, for the Background I used the Doily Set.  I stamped them with different SU! Ink and just added some blings in the middle.  Sentiment is from the Daily Grind Stamp Set.
For my last project, I decided to do a LO. I used the Argyle Background Stamp set and for the words I used the Simple Joys Stamp Set
Such a big difference from the 1st month of school (So Happy and Excited Face) to end of the School Year (I am so over this Face) LOL!

Have an Awesome Weekend Everyone.

Inspiration Week :: Scor-Pal & Market Street Stamps :: Day 4

Hello There!
I'm so glad to see how much you're enjoying our inspiration week with Scor-Pal! We've had a blast creating for this week, and today's projects show no exception.

Today, we'll be taking a look at the lovely work of

&

Don't forget to pop by the Scor-Pal blog after you're finished here!
Both teams have done a phenomenal job!

Stephanie created an awesome card that could be used for a female friend or it could be masculine, too! I just LOVE the pattern she created with her Scor-Buddy and all the fun inking she did to make the creases POP! Stephanie used Daily Grind for her coffee cup and sentiment, and the tag is from Make a Memory.

(*Tifany's project will be up tomorrow, oops, my fault!)

Amy's note card set is absolutely stunning! The red and kraft combo is classic, and who wouldn't love a gift like this? Amy used both Neighborhood and Home Sweet Home. Don't miss her blog - she has a wonderful photo tutorial for you today so you can create this same project!

Thank you so much for visiting today, don't forget to visit both our designer's blogs as well as the Scor-Pal Blog for more photos, additional projects and more!

See you back here tomorrow!

Inspiration Week :: Scor-Pal & Market Street Stamps

Happy Monday everyone!
WOW - thank you so much for stopping by our blog this weekend for the Operation Write Home "Make 'Em Laugh" Blog Hop! I loved reading your comments, and you still have today and tomorrow to link up your funny card for a chance to win a $15.00 Gift Certificate to our shop!

This week, we're SO happy to partner with the fabulous ladies at Scor-Pal!

&

We'll be featuring projects all week long using Market Street Stamps and the nice, deep creasing abilities of Scor-Pal's essential card-making tool, the Scor-Buddy!

So let's get to the projects for today, shall we?

Brenda's created a visual playground by creasing her card base three times width-wise and three times length-wise to create a grid for her elements. Brenda stamped her images from our "Daily Grind" set, and I have to say, I LOVE how her cards always seem to come across as a canvas. So artistic! Be sure to visit Brenda's blog for even more photos!

Angelica Suarez
When I created "Daily Grind", I was really inspired by old-school diners and the colors you might find in a coffee shop somewhere in the 1960's. Using the coffee bean border strip, I used the top of my stamp to line up each strip and stamped multiple times to create my own background paper. I used my Scor-Buddy to create an interesting frame to finish the card.

Now, be sure to pop on over to the SCOR-PAL blog for even more inspiration from some of their designers, too!! We'll be back again tomorrow with more beautiful creations from Julie Day and Stephanie Muzzulin - you won't want to miss it!

Have a wonderful Monday, Stampers!

March Sneak Peek :: Daily Grind

...COFFEE...
Café Kaffe Caffé
Koffie Kaffee
No matter where you're from or how you spell it - one thing is for sure: Coffee is a Universal conversation starter. Whether you're a half-caf-grinder, bold-brew-barista, casual sipper, or a full blown java junkie, you share something in common with millions of other people all over the world! And if you don't drink it, chances are, someone you know and adore does.

Jonesin' for java and 50's Diners were what inspired me for March, and I think you'll absolutely LOVE the cards our designers created as well!

We're also excited to bring in two sets this month that were requested by two of our Neighbors! You'll see those later this week.

DESIGN TEAM SAMPLES
Be sure to visit each blog for a chance to win this set!
You might even spy some additional *bonus* inspiration along the way!

Amy Kolling: Amy's black and white vision came together with a classic, cool idea to utilize more than just a couple stamps from this set at a time!

Brenda Weaver: The steam can be used interchangeably or left off completely! It's up to you! And I love the way Brenda layered this eclectic card to highlight the takeout cup!

Jen del Muro: Jen's staggered elements look like pure joy unfolding on the front of her card. Her shading on the coffee cup is so beautiful and realistic!

Julie Day: Julie's out-of-the-box project had me racking my brain for ANY upcoming occasion I could recreate these sweet favors for! I will definitely be stashing away this idea for upcoming swaps and stocking stuffers!

Samantha Casey: What's sweeter than a milkshake? Samantha's card!! Inspired by the delicious Espresso Milkshakes at my favorite local coffee shop, I wanted to illustrate an image for the *sweet-cream* drinkers. Samantha's card showcases that vision perfectly! (If you're ever in Green Bay, Kavarna serves the BEST vegetarian yummies and coffee drinks in town, I highly recommend a visit!)

Michele Gross: I love how it feels like a mad tea party with Michele's stacked cups! I think we've all had a three-cup kinda day at some point or another, right?

Stephanie Muzzulin: Simply stated, and so balanced, Stephanie's card is the perfect pick-me-up!

Stephanie Washburn: Create your own background with the fun border strip included in this set! Steph turns a panel into a canvas with this pop of purple in the corner.

***********************
Didn't the team totally ROCK these sets? I can't wait to see how you create with them, and don't forget to read the guidelines above to see how YOU can snag 'em for free!
