Create a B-I-N-G-O winner!

There is a challenge that had a theme and BINGO is it's name-o! B-I-N-G-O! This weeks
Tuesday Alchemy challenge is based off of this card.  You must use 3 of the items either vertically, horizontally or diagonally.  Great idea!! Pretty much sky's the limit just as long as you incorporate these items in your project.

This week we have 2 awesome sponsor's! Flonz and Scapper's Delight!! Each giving away great goodies!  Join in and good luck!!

I used dies/punches, ink and blings to create this card.  Luckily everything was cut using the cricut's pagoda cartridge.  I wanted to try something a little different this time, by using the two cards.  I used the darker pink for the main card and the lighter pink as an overlay card.  I inked the lighter pink card with gold ink to give it a speckled look.  I cut the fence in the background and inked it with gold to give it a little more dimension, then glued it down to the dark pink card.  Next, I cut the light pink card with the flower middle and place it over the fence to create an inner image.  The bamboo image actually comes out all together, I cut it in half and put it on both sides of the card to create a little more balance.  Next I cut the dragonflies in different sizes and colors, and placed them to look a little more whimsical.  Lastly I added the blings to the bamboo and the dragonflies to give it a little more pop!  The inside is blank, making it great for any occasion.  All in all, I think it came out pretty good for an experiment card!  I will try doing more cards like this and see what happens.

What's old is new

This is an old picture, but I wanted to share it anyway.  I made this bouquet last year for my cousins senior prom.  I love making bouquets, it's a passion of mine.  It's so fulfilling to create something like this, it's not exactly like paper crafting.   It is a little harder because it is using fresh flowers and your time frame is at a quicker pace.  The overall planning process is similar, but the execution as a whole is a little different. Even though I enjoy it, because I'm self taught, I'm a little out of my comfort zone.  In the end it comes out exactly how I want it too.  Do you think that it matters how you get your end result? Or is it okay, just as long as it comes out the way you wanted it to?
In this arrangement I used my fav feathers, added some bling with the jewels, and some silver ting-tings, as for the flowers it was very simple with roses, ranunculus, baby carnations and alstromerias.   Tying it off with a shimmer silver bow.  To my surprise, this style of bouquets are not the rage anymore?!  The last time I made a prom bouquet was 2 prom seasons prior and it was still in trend.  Within that short amount of time, things sure did change.  What's in now, are wristlet arrangements!  A little throwback, that was the trend decades ago.  I guess everything does come back again?

In the now

In the trend

In the ground

In the bed

In the glass
Here are a few pics that I found on my phone from the past couple of months.  Just a little mish mash of what goes on in my life.

Sparkle and Shine

For this weeks Tuesday Alchemy challenge, the theme was sparkle and shine!  Something that I am very familiar with! :)  This is a pillbox that I "blinged" out with of course none other then Hello Kitty!  This is a fairly small box, but it did take about 3 hours to complete.  It's made up of all tiny swarvoski crystals.  All the hard work was well worth it!  If I had the time, I would love to do more of these in the future!
  Cheers!

Tuesday Feathers

This was my submission to this weeks challenge, which was feathers!  I made a wedding reception box, using feathers for the flower centerpiece on top of the box.  I also accented it with cord, pearls, ribbon and a jeweled applique. Take a look at the full challenge at tuesdayalchemy.blogspot.com  It's so exciting how great everyone's projects are coming out!  Can't wait for next weeks challenge.  If anyone is interested please visit the blog or you can send me any questions.
Cheers!
