TAGplorations~ O' Christmas Tree...

Morning crafty friends, I'm back for a special edition of the

It's special because there is also a blog hop along with the challenge this month! There are some amazing prizes up for grabs, so be sure to check it all out here! The DT has made gorgeous tags for your inspiration, so be sure to check them out here and leave them some luv!

This month it's all about CHRISTMAS and the optional twist is: GLITTER

Here's my lil' gift tags featuring CUTplorations Tags 1 . I started with my base cut from Mixed Media Paper and then applied Distress Oxides in Fired Brick and Picked Raspberry. I then applied some water splatters to create some texture in my background. I stamped and die cut the trees from the Trendy Christmas Trees stamp set and the Trendy Christmas Trees Coordinating Dies set from GLITTER paper...I do love me some glitter! lol!

I  stamped the sentiments from the Trendy Christmas Trees stamp set in coordinating Brilliance Inks and stamped a "To" and "From", which are from a Hero Arts set, in Archival ink. I adhered the trees to the tags and gave the center trees more dimension by adhering them with foam tape.  I then finished with a splash of Prima Gold Foil Bloom Spray, some Gingham ribbon and a Tim Holtz Mirrored Star.

I sure hope I've inspired you to get crafty today! Oh and don't forget if you use code "STAMPGIRLAMY" you can get 20% off your purchase! :o)

Happy Holidays and see  y'all in the New Year! xx

So Suzy Stamps~ Christmas in July!

Good morning crafty Friends, it's time for a blog hop and new challenge over at

http://www.sosuzystampsblog.com/2015/06/so-suzy-stamps-challenge-blog-hop.html

This month's Challenge is

CHRISTMAS in JULY!

I made 2 new cards with this adorable release! Both using watercolors and different Christmas trees.

The first card I used  Fancy Swirl Christmas Tree.
I stamped the image onto 110lb Watercolor CS with Versamark Ink and embossed with White Detail EP from Recollections. Then I added Red Watercolor across for the background and stamped the Holiday Wishes sentiment in Staz On Black ink. Layered this CS onto red and black CS and finished with Gingham black ribbon from So Suzy Stamps and rhinestones from my stash.

Next up, I used the Delicious Coffee Christmas Tree and used the same embossing and watercolor technique as the first card but with brown.
The sentiment is Lots of Coffee. How perfect is this New Coffee Tree and Sentiment stamp? Just perfect for that Java Lover! And lets talk about that adorable Coffee Beans ribbon!! Love it! Finished with A button from my stash and some Dark Chocolate Liquid Pearls. Layered the image layer onto Chocolate and Beige CS from Recollections.

There some Cute and Simple cards that are so easy to do with a little embossing and watercoloring!

Don't forget today there is FREE SHIPPING- INCLUDING INTERNATIONAL at
so get a shoppin'! :o)

Happy Craftin' and Shoppin'!
~hugs~
