STAMP OUT CANCER~ Special Friend

Good morning crafty friends! I'm happy to be participating in the

We all know someone hit by Cancer, so Scrap N' Stamp is doing a blog hop to raise awareness and funds for the PUSH FOR YOUR TUSH .
Please check out the link to read Nancy's Story

Scrap N' Stamp will be donating 10% of today's sales towards this great cause! So be sure to hop along and donate if you can. :o)

Instead of "Get Well Soon" cards, the team made cards that would be more uplifting for friends/family battling cancer.

Here's my card using the Foilpress from Crafter's Companion along with their gorgeous Foil Stamps and Foil.

I started with the Ornate Swirls Background Foilpress Stamp with the Berry Foil. If you haven't used the Foilpress machine yet, you NEED to...it's so easy and makes elegant cards in a snap! I then used the Special Friend Foilpress Stamp with the Berry Foil and matted it onto the CC Luxury Red Matt Mirror Card. A bow and Red Pearls from my stash finished off the front of the card.

I still wanted to tie the front of my card with the inside so I used the Thinking Of You Foilpress Stamp again with the Berry Foil and matted it onto the Luxury Red Matt Mirror Card.

And there you have a pretty card in just a few simple steps using the CC Foilpress and Gemini- the Foilpress can also be used with the Gemini Jr. :o)

Now you are off to Laurie's Blog to see her beautiful Make! And if you get lost along the way, here's the Hop Order:

SCRAP N' STAMP~ A Song in my Heart

Happy Thursday crafty friends! Today, we have a fun little blog hop for

Be sure to comment on all the stops on the hop to be eligible for one of 5 VALENTINES GIFT PACKS and 1 $50  Scrap N' Stamp Gift Certificate

PLUS there's a challenge over at the SCRAP N' STAMP FB Group- the theme is LOVE IS IN THE AIR...come join in the fun! ;o)

Here's my card for this hop:

I started with a piece of Bristol Smooth paper and blended Distress Oxides in Spun Sugar, Picked Raspberry and Seedless Preserves to create my background; I added some water droplets for more texture. I then used the  MFT- Wonky Stitched Rectangle die to cut the panel. To create my hill, I used Lawn Fawn Stiched Hillside Borders cut from MME "Record It" paper pad and inked it up with Mowed Lawn Distress Ink. A Mushroom die cut from Quick Kutz blended the edges with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxides finished off my little scene.

I stamped 2 of the bird images from the MFT- Tweet Friends stamp set  in Versafine Black Onyx Ink onto Bristol Smooth paper and colored up the images with my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers. I added some white Gel Pen for highlights and fussy cut them out. I stamped the song notes and sentiment from the set using Black Onyx Versafine ink and die cut the sentiment using the MFT- Slanted Sentiment Strip Die. Voila! One TWEET Card..lol.

Here's the inside of my card using another image and sentiment from the set:

SCRAMP N' STAMP~ Autumn Leaves Blog Hop

Hello Crafty Friends, it's time for
There's 3 $25 Gift Certificates to give away...to be eligible hop along all the Designer blogs and comment to win.

Also, this weekend we have a $20 coupon for orders over $100 - Use the code "LOVEFALL20" at checkout.

Here's my Autumn Leaves inspired lil' makes:

I used the new Lawn Fawn THANKS A LATTE set and Tim Holtz Funky Florals #3 Die Set for both tags- I just used them differently. ;o)

First, I used the smaller Mug from the set and stamped it onto Prima Vintage Emporium paper and fussy cut as I don't have the coordinating dies- I then inked the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide. I then die cut florals and leaves from the Funky floral sets in oranges, reds and browns. I cut a slit inside my mug lip to create my Autumn Bouquet.

I then used the stamp from the set for the insde of the mug upside down to create my shadow using Archival Ink in Potting Soil. The sentiment "You matter to me" is from Concord and 9th's Hugs set, also in Coffee Ink. The "LOVE YA" is from the Thanks a Latte Set in Carnation Red Archival Ink. I used Bazzil Cardstock with some Fired Brick Distress Oxide for my tag base. A little white Dylusions Paint Pen to add highlights finished off my tag with some crinkle ribbon.

For the second tag, I used the same Bazzil Cardstock for my base, but this time, covered the larger tag with the same Vintage Emporium Paper from Prima. I stamped the second mug from the set using the same steps as above but added the Coffee Swirl Stamp inside my mug. I then stamped the Leaf from the set and fussy cut it out and adhered it to my mug to cover the heart so it would tie into the Autumn theme.
I added the leaves from the Funky Florals #3 set behind my mug and adhered the mug to my tag with 3D foam Tape. I then added Tonic Crystal Glaze to my Mug to create added dimension and it looks like liquid. ;o)  My sentiment is a combo of the "FALL" from the set and "Happy" using the TH Shadow Scripts  #2 set. A little wood button from my stash finished off my tag.

I sure hope you had fun, and I've inspired you to use your stamp sets differently. Now you are onto Karen's Blog for her fantastic make.

Here's the blog line-up in :

Again, be sure to comment on each Designer's Blog for your chance to win one of 3 $25 Gift Certificates!

Cute EH? hehehehe

Up first is a card I made using the Stamp, die, Ephemera Pack with the Canadian Critters & Strong & Free papers.

I started with a piece of woodgrain DP from my stash and added circles I punched out from the Canadian Critters  paper using different sized circle punches.

I added some ephermera from the Ephemera Pack and created my little "Eh" banner. I added a Maple leaf I die cut using the Maple Leaf die and finished with some red twine.

I stamped the uber cute Beaver from the Stamp set onto Strathmore watercolor paper with Scattered Straw Distress Ink using my TH Platform. I then used Frayed BurlapVintage Photo & Walnut Stain Distress Inks to watercolor the image with a Waterbrush. I then die cut him out using the corresponding  die. I used the stamp again and stamped onto the  Strong & Free paper and fussy cut the vest out and adhered to my colored image. I finished him with some White Nuvo Drops.

And there we have the first card- ready for Canada Day! :)

I die cut a tag using STAMPlorations Stitched Tag die from  the Maple Syrup paper and then added a piece of the Strong & Free paper but using the red/white maple leafs side this time. Monica's Birthday Blog Hop~ JOURNEY ATC Album

Monica is turning 50 and is holding a Birthday Bash Linky Party and she'd like all her crafty friends to help her celebrate!!!

You have all of May to link up for your chance at some amazing prizes..such as Stamps, T.H.E. Bag, Vintage Printables and so much more!

All you have to do is create a "JOURNEY" themed project using the mood board below as your inspiration. Then link up here and be sure to comment and follow Monica's blog as well.

http://taylormadecards4u.blogspot.com/2017/05/birthday-month-bash-and-im-celebrating.html

I made a Mini ATC Album with a Vintage, travel and Journey theme.

The Album is 4.5 x 3.5' and I used Chipboard and Design Papers from Recollections and Bazzil Cardstock. It has a hidden hinge with 6 pages so it will hold 12 ATC's.

Front Inside Cover and ATC 1

I'm not going to go into a lot of detail, as this post would be way too long and it's already quite picture heavy, so I don't want to bombard you with step-by-step details. I did use a lot of Tim Holtz products, Distress Paints, Oxides and Inks- as Monica LOVES Tim Holtz :o).

There are Sizzix & Tim Holtz die cuts and other miscellaneous stamps (Prima, STAMPlorations, So Suzy Stamps & Stampin' Up), stencils and products used as well- so if you have any questions, please ask :o)
