Two final cards inspired by SAF

Today, I have two last cards to share that were inspired by Papertrey Ink's
Stamp-A-Faire Challenges this past weekend, more specifically,

Nichole shared such pretty inspiration photos on her blog,
it was hard to only be inspired by one of them!
So, even though I can't enter them in the challenge (one project per person)
I want to share them here on my blog.

First up, this beautiful photo...

... inspired this card:

I diecut the Beautiful Berries: Spring and stamped it in PTI Ocean Tides
and Altenew Mango Smoothie, Warm Sunshine and Evening Grey.
I had smooshed some Hawaiian Shores ink onto a piece of watercolour
paper for another card and diecut it using my Shaker Shapes: Rectangle dies.
I blended some Ocean Tides ink onto the frame.

I stamped the sentiment (from Simon Says Stamp's Congratulations)
in clear and heat embossed it in black --
also something I thought I'd use on another card, but didn't.
I love it when I can pull some of these leftovers together to make a card!

And I was super inspired by this photo:

However, it wasn't a PTI set that jumped to mind to use when I saw this photo...
it was my Flourish set by Concord & 9th.

I started by stamping my PTI Vintage Cream background with
my C&9th Barnwood Background stamp in Altenew Morning Frost.
Then, I stamped the Flourish stamps in PTI Canyon Clay (stamped twice), Terracotta Tile,
Scarlet Jewel and Ripe Avocado (stamped twice).
(Have I mentioned lately how much I love my MISTI?)
I heat embossed the flowers in white and tried to add the detail in yellow,
but it melted into the white a little.
Still a cool effect though.
For my berries, I stamped them twice in Wplus9's white ink and then a third time
in PTI Spring Moss, which turned out quite cool.
I stamped the detail in Spring Moss again.

I stamped my sentiment (from PTI's Winter Woods) in Ripe Avocado (twice).

I'm linking this card up to this month's

Butterfly Reflections Ink December Mood Board & Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #4

I can't believe it's Christmas Eve Eve!
Only two more sleeps until Christmas...

Today, I have a card to share for
Butterfly Reflections Ink December Mood Board

Isn't it gorgeous?
My card is also for Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #4: Winter:

I decided to use both of my Concord & 9th stamp sets:  Flourish & Barnwood Background.

I started with a piece of vintage cream cardstock, on which I stamped my Barnwood
Background stamp, in Altenew's Morning Frost.
I stamped my flowers, berries and leaves using the Flourish stamp set
and Altenew's velvet, grapevine, evergreen inks and Papertrey Ink's Scarlet Jewel
and Simply Chartreuse.

I stamped my sentiment (from MFT's Hand-Lettered Holiday)
in Altenew Jet Black ink.

Butterfly Reflections Ink November Mood Board & Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #3

Today, I have a card to share for
Butterfly Reflections Ink November Mood Board

Isn't it gorgeous?
My card is also for Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #3: Sparkle & Shine:

I decided to use my Concord & 9th Flourish stamp set to make my card.

I stamped my leaves and flowers using PTI's Dark Indigo, Melon Berry and Scarlet Jewel.
Then, I stamped some of the accent stamps in versamark and heat embossed them in gold.

I stamped my sentiment (from Simon Says Stamp's Many Thanks)
and was inspired by the gold dipped feathers in the photo to use my MISTI to
ink up the bottom half of the stamp with versamark and stamp it a second time
and heat embossed it in gold.

Butterfly Reflections Ink October Mood Board & Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #2

Today, I have a card to share for
Butterfly Reflections Ink October Mood Board

Isn't it gorgeous?
I love those rich hues!

I decided to use my Concord & 9th Flourish stamp set to make my card.

I started by smooshing some PTI Hawaiian Shores ink mixed with water
onto my watercolour panel.
Once it was dry, I stamped the leaves from Concord & 9th's Flourish stamp set
in PTI's Tropical Teal, after spritzing my inked stamp with water first.
I repeated this for the Summer Sunrise flowers I stamped.
Lastly, I stamped the flowers in Altenew's Cosmic Berry.
I didn't spritz it with water first, because the Altenew inks don't react to that
well, not like the PTI inks do.

I stamped my sentiment using SSS's Big Scripty Sentiments.

Butterfly Reflections Ink September Mood Board & Where Creativity Meets C9 Challenge #1 & MFT Card Design Superstar Contest -- do-over

Wow, how's that for a long title!

As you might have guessed, I have a couple of cards to share today....

The first one is for the Butterfly Reflections Ink September Mood Board

I decided to use my Concord & 9th Flourish stamp set to make my card.

I made a very simple, one layer card, using some Altenew inks (Desert Nights,
Arctic, Caribbean Sky, Persian Blue, Warm Sunshine) and PTI inks (Orange Zest, Terracotta Tile.)

I stamped my sentiment using PTI's Spring Woods.

My second one is "do-over" for one of the cards I made

I had created three cards for the challenge, which I shared on Sunday,
but the last one had a sentiment from a Papertrey Ink stamp set
and was therefore disqualified.
I'm so thankful they let me know, so I could still submit a third card for the challenge.
So, if this card looks familiar, it was a copy of the one I shared on Sunday
-- I just changed the sentiment!

Using leaf stamps from MFT's Flashy Florals and Modern Blooms, I stamped the leaves
on two white cardstock panels -- one in Altenew Morning Frost
and Evening Grey & the other in MFT Orange Zest & Ripe Raspberry, PTI's Spring Moss
& Simply Chartreuse, Altenew's Midnight Violet -- using my MISTI.
I diecut the coloured panel using this gorgeous MFT die that's now retired.

I diecut the "hello" die that came with my Flashy Florals kit
from black cardstock and adhered it to my diecut shape.
Then, I adhered the shape to my card using dimensional adhesive.
I matted my card on Ripe Raspberry cardstock.
