Stamps and dies for sale

Hey there!

It's been a while since I've blogged.

A few weeks ago, I got my kids involved in going through our basement rec room
and purging old toys and things they didn't want to hold on to.
Austin gestured towards my scrapbooking space and asked:
"Are you going to get rid of your stuff, too?"

I said no.

When he asked why not, I explained that there are seasons of life and while
right now, my priorities are spending time with my kids when I'm not at work,
I know that in three very short years, they will be out of the house
and I can totally see how I will need things to fill my time when that happens.
So, my area will stay.

However, this conversation did encourage me to look through my stash
and do a little purging.
So, I have the following items for sale.
The prices listed below are USD and include shipping to Canada or the US.
I'm willing to ship internationally, but you'll have to pay for the shipping.
If you're interested in anything, please email me at pennercl@mymts.net.
Thanks!

Purging my craft space

The women's ministry at our church is having a theme for this year.
It's called A Simple Year.
With my new full time job & kind of busy life
the idea of simplifying speaks to me.

In February, they spoke about getting rid of things we no longer need.
They mentioned crafts that we'd purchased but never got around to doing.
This made me think of scrapbooking.
While I've still tried to make Monthly Moments layouts,
I'm not making traditional scrapbook layouts anymore.
So, I decided to get rid of everything that I wouldn't use for card making
and gave a few boxes away.

I loved how clean my space feels!
Here are some photos:

My space is located in a corner of my basement,
opposite of Sage's Lego Friends table.
My work had some extra wooden boxes, so I snatched up two of them,
thinking they'd be perfect for storing my inks.

This one holds my Reverse Confetti inks...

And this one, my Altenew inks.

I changed up how I store my cardstock --
three hanging file containers for my Papertrey Ink and Reverse Confetti cardstock.

My diecutting station, with four baskets underneath --
two for my Reverse Confetti stamps, one for my Papertrey Ink stamps
and a fourth for my stencils, background stamps, patterned paper pads
and impression plate/panel dies.

Behind my chair, I have my IKEA shelf, with my binders of dies,
three more baskets of stamps, cardstock, a few embellishments, etc.

So, once I was done purging, I decided to go through my stamps
and dies and purge those as well.
I found some that aren't getting enough love from me
and would benefit from being in a new home.
The prices listed below include shipping to Canada or the US.
I'm willing to ship internationally, but you'll have to pay for the shipping.
If you're interested in anything, please email me at pennercl@mymts.net.
Thanks!

Papertrey Ink 9th Anniversary Celebration Day 10 & stamps & dies for sale

This is my second post for today.

I have another card for Papertrey Ink's 9th Anniversary Celebration.

The idea is that you have a challenge for each letter in your name.
I did my whole first name and the first initial of my last name.

L -- lean your sentiment at an angle
E -- incorporate an emboss resist technique
I -- use an impression plate
G -- add a touch of gold
H -- heat emboss an image or sentiment
P -- use pink on your project

I also decided to use

Here's my card:

I used the Graceful Greetings stamp set and heat embossed my sentiment on an angle.
Over this, I applied some hawaiian shored ink with my Tim Holtz blending tool.
I stamped the flowers (also from Graceful Greetings) onto my card front
as well as on some coordinating diecuts.

I ran my panel through my diecutting machine with my woodgrain impression plate,
before adhering my diecuts.
I matted it all on a piece of aqua mist cardstock, which I substituted for the soft stone.

Before I go, I have some stamps & dies that aren't getting enough love from me
and would benefit from being in a new home.
The prices listed below include shipping to Canada or the US.
I'm willing to ship internationally, but you'll have to pay for the shipping.
If you're interested in anything, please email me at pennercl@mymts.net.
Thanks!

Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop

Well, it's the eighth of the month, which means it's time for the Reverse Confetti Blog Hop!
This month's theme is all about the guys...

The hop started over on the Reverse Confetti blog
and you should have made it here from the amazing Amy Sheffer's blog
It would be worth your while to start at the beginning of the hop, so you don’t miss a thing.
We have tons of inspiration for you to see using Reverse Confetti's amazing stamp sets to make projects for the special guys in your life!

Now, the Reverse Confetti DT was challenged to create an "ABC" Masculine project,
which stands for "Anything But a Card."
I decided to scrapbook the photos I took at my son's black belt review last November.

Reverse Confetti June Blog Hop Leigh Penner @leigh148 @reverseconfetti @bazzillbasics #reverseconfetti #bazzillbasics #scrapbookinglayouts

I started with a base of Bazzill Basics Classic Smooth White cardstock
and added some Echo Park (red) and Crate Paper (map) patterned papers over top.

For my title, I used Pink Paislee's Bella Rouge Printed Transparent Alphas.
For my embellishments, I chose some Crate Paper chipboard frames and added
some Reverse Confetti stamping to them.
For this one (above) I stamped the sentiment from Circle Sentiments in two different colours.

On the other frame, I stamped my sentiment (from Right Here, Right Now)
in versafine onyx black onto vellum and heat embossed it in clear.
Then, I layered it over the photo, but under the frame.
For the little banner on the left-hand side, I stamped the sentiment
(also from Circle Sentiments) and diecut the end using
the smaller tag from Tag Me Confetti Cuts.

I hope you’ve enjoyed hopping with us today!
Be sure and hop with us on the 8th of every month for more Reverse Confetti inspiration!

Now it’s time to hop on over to the incredible Amber Hight's blog

Cleaning up & some stamps for sale

Hey there, friends!

Well, I had a very productive weekend!

I spent most of my free time reorganizing/purging/cleaning my craft area –
and I even did a little painting, too.  :)
I thought I’d share some photos with you…

Now, a year and a half ago, I painted two walls in my basement corner craft area aqua mist.
Well, this weekend, I decided to add some aqua mist stripes to the wall that leads into my area.

What do you think?
I totally love it!

Here's my space.
We have two tables set up: one for me that faces out into the room and one for my daughter, Sage.
It's suppose to be for her to craft, but she uses it more for playing with her Lego Friends.
I don't mind though... it's still a nice way to spend time together.

So here's my work area.
I have my sewing machine at the one end.

Here's another view.
I keep my stamps in baskets in front of me.
I have a basket for PTI, one for Reverse Confetti and one for all my other stamps.

I have a caddy for my tools, paintbrushes and pencils, etc.
Behind that, I have my 12x12 patterned paper, sorted by manufacturer.

Then, I have my PTI cardstock, sorted by colour.
On my four-tiered rotating shelf, I keep my smaller tools, twine, embossing powder and my PTI inks.

This is my diecutting station, where I keep my smaller trimmer, my ATG gun and my Big Shot.
On the shelf behind that, I have my impression plates, punches & embossing folders.
Below, I have my 6x6 paper pads, sorted by manufacturer and my photos that are waiting to be scrapbooked.

Oh, and I came home one day to find this old book holder/display on my front porch.
My husband had found it in their barn and brought it home for Sage to use for her books.
She said she didn't want it, so I claimed it for my space.
I'm using it to store embellishments.

Here are some close-ups of my shelves.

I was super excited to get all of my Bazzill 12x12 cardstock organized by colour!

Oh, and before you go, a purge means that I have some stamps & dies to get rid of.

The prices listed below include shipping to Canada or the US.
I'm willing to ship internationally, but you'll have to pay for the shipping.
If you're interested in anything, please email me at pennercl@mymts.net.
Thanks!
