It was going to rain the whole day in Cali according t the forecast!!!! Maria's mother told me that it might stop raining in the afternoon so i decided to go out with her to do her stuff and buy something back for lunch and tomorrow's lunch to eat in the bus when going to Bogota from Cali in the morning. She was photocopying some document at a cyber cafe.

As what mentioned earlier, you would see two policemen standing in front of every bus station. Well-secured, i mean the bus passengers!

It's Monday, the downtown didn't look that ugly as the day before. But still...

Public/pay phone is not that common in Colombia. Everyone has a mobile. But most of them are using prepaid card. If one wanna make a phone call, he/she won't call directly from his/her mobile, instead go to this kind of stall to call, landline or mobile using the postpaid phone of owner of the stall. Pretty cheap, Colombian Peso 100 (RM0.20, USD 0.06) per minute.

Ops, this picture was not taken in the Philippines. That truck is not the infamous jeepney snaking through Manila in the Philippines! Also taxis still play a very important role in Colombia! Every ten vehicles on the road, there must be at least more than 4 taxis. Taxi is still very cheap or rather affordable to take.

Cali has a very good BRT system. But the mini buses also is the mode of transport the local would wish to be existed. This unintegrated bus system is extremely convenient to use. By just shaking hand to the bus that would directly go to your destination, the driver will stop for you anywhere you are standing. Also when you wanna get off, just press the button and the bus would stop for you few second later! The problem is only 17seats provided, during rush hour, the journey with this kind of mini bus would be a huge challenge - umcomfortable.

The national police! Well basically, there's many policemen patrolling the city, and for this reasont i felt so unsecured because the city needs so many policemen to keep the city not to be disorder.

The central park is nice but always you would find weird and ugly people sitting on the benches.

Looks pretty much like a street corner in Curitiba, Brazil, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Hongkong. Right?

During rush hour, you would normally see passengers lining up until outside of the staion. The population is increasing yet the bus services couldnt be expanded like subway or metro by increasing the compartment of the trains. Even though the frequency of the buses has been increased, still metro could carry more passengers.
