The Heroes of Fort Carson

Their Lives and Stories Remembered

Thank You!
'Run for the Fallen' flags at Rockfish Gap.

Michelle Malkin Had This Story [click to read] of the American soldiers who died in the siege at Kamdesh. Our Media gives us only numbers so often and Michelle remembers their names:

Spc. Stephan Lee Mace, 21
Sgt. Joshua Kirk, 30
Pfc. Kevin Thomson, 22
Spc. Christopher T. Griffin
Spc. Michael P. Scusa, 22
Sgt. Vernon W. Martin
Sgt. Justin T. Gallegos, 22
Sgt. Joshua M. Hardt, 24

Americans all, and they died for America. Ms. Malkin invites us to view Portraits of the Fallen [click to read] from the Colorado Springs Gazette. Here are Some More [click to read].

Every Thursday morning the men of our church meet for breakfast at Rowe's. One thing we never fail to do is pray for the troops, especially those we know are on deployment or about to go. Young people who's faces are etched in our minds and who's names bring special memories to us. As they are always faithful to defend us, may we always be faithful to bring them before our Heavenly Father.
