Something old something new

Hello there. Last night we had a lovely class at our Tuesday Club and welcomed a lovely new member, Teresa! We made 3 projects using sneak peeks from the new catalogue which I will share with you later in the week.

On Saturday I held a small class at home for 4 ladies who had wanted to do an Envelope Punch Board class. I am just about happy with my little craft den and have recently had some shelving and cupboards attached to the walls. I have room for 4 people comfortably with me sat at the end of the table. I know we all like a nosey at peoples craft rooms so I will do a video shortly.

Here is my room all set up for the class.

My shelving is a combination of the Besta and Billy ranges from IKEA.
So what did we make at the class? Well here is one of the projects which is a cute treat or gift holder using the Envelope Punch Board. For the whole class I used the Afternoon Picnic papers which are my faves from the current catalogue and they end in 2 weeks! They have been lovely to use and I might have to squirrel an extra pack into my shopping basket just for me to keep!
There are a few sneaks on here!!! The sentiment, the little flowers and the embossing on the scalloped circles! All will be revealed in due course!
Inside the box was a little gift that I got my husband for Fathers Day from the boys. It was a gorgeous pair of handmade ceramic cufflinks made by my talented cousin Katherine Lees who has her own business. Check her our here!
I didn't give him the gift in the box, thought it was a bit too girly but at least I already had it wrapped up in a little bag!!!!

Right thats me done for today! I am going to be working on our upcoming Team Training projects today, so that means plenty of playing with new things!!!

Thank you for all your comments and messages on my special 6th
birthday/anniversary yesterday. They are all very much appreciated. To CELEBRATE my Stampin UP birthday anyone who places an order on my online store between now and 27th June will receive a small gift in the post! Please use hostess code VV9AXP29 when placing your order. Please remember the retiring lists are still available. Minimum spend £30. Thank you all for your support!

My Week (part 2)

Hi there and happy Christmas Eve to you all - my lovely blog readers! Are you all ready for tomorrow? I think we are, I am just doing the cleaning today and then we are going to make Gingerbread houses this afternoon!

Last week I did a lot of crafting for cards for my lovely team members. I had already made lots of these for the teamies that attended training but then I just had to make the same for my girls who live too far away to attend so think I had just under 40 to make and post out.
Here is a reminder of the little cards I made! Very small cute cards but they took a lot of work. I worked out that I inked in the region of 165 holly berries and cut out 110 leaves and inked those!!! It was totally worth it - loved my mini cards.
Now I couldn't send the chocolate sledges in the post so I bought a little token gift for my girls and wrapped them and posted them out with the card.
Here are some of them all stacked up ready to go in envelopes.
Last week I also had a bit of a run on Christmas gift vouchers so here is one I made!
I also decided to pack away my Christmas stamps as I don't want to see another Christmas stamp set for a long long time! I also needed to make room for lots of lovely new stamp sets that I intend on playing with over the festive period.
On Thursday one of my dear customers Maggie, invited some of her friends and me for a little crafty session and lunch at her beautiful home. It was lovely not to have had to plan the craft myself! I kept telling Maggie she should be a demonstrator!!!
She made us all these wonderful crackers using the Envelope Punch Board and the Festive Flurry stamp set. Inside was a lovely gift of a lip gloss.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I got up to last week

Envelope Punch Board class

Hi there and welcome to my blog today! I am sure I am not alone in thinking that I cannot believe it is the 1st December already!!!!!! I am now on my countdown to Christmas in more ways than one. These last few months have been extremely busy for me  (which is a good thing) so I am looking forward to winding my classes down and having a couple of weeks off with my family over the festive period! Rest assured though, I will be crafting away getting all the classes ready for 2014! Talking of which if you would like a class list emailing to you please contact me as I have just prepared them.

Yesterday afternoon I ran my regular Technique Club (next one 1st February - yikes) and rather than focussing on a stamp set we focussed on how to use the new Envelope Punch Board. Now I could have done al All Day Class sharing ideas with this amazing tool but we only had 2 hours so just did 4 projects.
This cute little gift box is made from one piece of 6x6 card and is scored on the Envelope Board. It is so easy and there are many tutorials out there on the web making lots of little boxes. I made 2 different ones, the first one is stamped all over with the Simply Stars stamp set, love it! Also loving the Tags 4 You stamps and matching Bracket punch which I used here and layered another one up on the back.
This one was my prototype so its a little plainer and I used the Champagne Glimmer paper and the mini star from the Merry Minis punches
Hope you like these cute little boxes, I know I would love a little piece of jewellery in one of these for Christmas!
