It only took me 25 more minutes to finish this little guy after posting yesterday, so I finished it up this morning and thought I'd take a minute and post it! These little guys are so cute!

a VERY late June ornament fnish!
I was able to finish this on June 30th, I've just been unable to update my blog this month, just been super busy!! July is usally a busy month for us, as my husbands birthday and our wedding anniversary (12 years this year!) are in July.
So, these posts are gonna be late! Sorry! I'm hoping to stay caught up in August!
Thank you for reading, and have a great day!

Finish number 2 for 2016
I'm really enjoying working on these little snowmen. I'm gonna miss working on them once I'm done with the series.
This one stitched up super quick. I finished it in 4 days! So now I'm working on DS2N, which I shall share progress of the next time I post!
Happy stitching!

First finish for 2016!!
FINALLY! I have my first finish for the year!
Isn't he cute?! I love this little guy!! I started him the day after Christmas and just finished him a few minutes ago!! I can't believe it's taken so long!! Of course I've had a lot of things taking up my time other than just stitching lately, plus I work a rotation, so I wasn't working JUST on him.
But boy, does it feel great to have a finish!!
I am aiming to also finish page 2 of Day Surrendering to Night by the end of this month. I have less than a complete column to go until I see a finish on it.
So next time I post I will share my update on DS2N.
Hope everyone has a great week!
Joyful stitching to you all! And thank you for stopping by!!

Christmas Ornaments Snowman #1
What it will look like when it's finished:
Where I'm at currently with this WIP:
I actually started him back in December. This was my traveling project I took with me to FIL's house when we visited after Christmas. So this is probably about 2-3 hours worth of work. So, right now it's just a bunch of color blobs, but hopefully someday (soonish) it will be a cute little snowman.
Thanks for stopping by! I hope you all had a great weekend, and for those who celebrate it, a lovely Valentine's Day. And for those in America a great long holiday weekend.

Sorry the picture is sorta fuzzy, but you can see that this one is coming along. I really have been enjoying working on him! Hoping to have it finished by the next time I post this guy!

A bad month... But maybe not as bad as I thought...
First of all I want to thank everyone who left me such sweet kind and encouraging comments on my last post. I think I was just having one of those days. My daughter was sick, then I caught it. And of course cold meds always knock me for a loop. Of course I wasn't getting anything done! I was under the sleeping curse of cold meds. Things happen, but they are usually just temporary. My mother always says "This, too shall pass" but it's hard to remember that when you're going through it.
I think I was just feeling so discouraged because last month was a great, productive one, and the beginning of this one was not as great as I was hoping.
But! Now I'm better and my daughter is better so I actually was able to get a bit of stitching done, the last ten days of the month... I even got a finish! Granted, it's just a small one, but it's a finish!! So let me share with you what I accomplished!
Here's my finish. Santa ornament #3. And here's how far I got to with the 4th one:
And I think I would have gotten a finish if I hadn't had a desperate urge to work on this:
Which I am still in love with. My goal for this one was originally to try to finish this page. Once I realized THAT wasn't going to happen, I decided to try and finish the white angels hand which I did. Plus tons of other confetti fill in here and there.

So I was happy to see this month wasn't a total bust!
Along with my stitching I also read 8 books this month as well. And watched 3 seasons of House MD on Netflix and season 2 of Ghost Hunters. And this week I've also been doing some little crafty/baking projects with the daughter. We've been having a lot of fun and she is super excited for Halloween!
I guess that's it for now! I hope everyone has a wonderful, fun and safe Halloween!!!

Winter Fun- The WHOLE Enchilada!!
I thought I would share the entire collection of twelve pieces with you all!! I think they all came out SO cute!! Now the question is what to do with them? Cards? Ornaments? Make into a quilt? I am not sure... Ideas anyone? Please share!! I'd love to know what you think!!
Well it's another dreary rainy day, and I totally put off my housework this week so gotta cach up on that. Now I wished I hadn't procrastinated so! A rainy day is perfect for a good book and a cup of coffee, or some stitching! Hmmm... Maybe if I get a move on I can get my chores done up and still have some stitchy time this afternoon! Joyful stitching to you all!

Another finish!
Yay! I was able to finish this little guy up! He's a little late but it's alright! I think I have decided to throw my rotation out the window and work on projects when I want to, for as long as I want to. I think I will be able to get more done that way. It's hard to set goals when you are switching out projects (7 of them!!) every 5 days. I feel like I never see any progress. So next I'm gonna try to finish up the Abbey! Wish me luck!!! I'm gonna just try to push through and get it done. It's so close to a finish HOW can I give up now?! I will not!! I will push on, strong to the finish.... Or try to, anyway! Joyful stitching to you all!
