before this afternoon, its been quite some time since i last saw a rainbow and a lucky drive along highway 403 today gave us the opportunity to take a good peep at a rainbow in the sky, caused by rainshowers and the rays of the sun. we came from toronto locale to talk to the contact person of the Hammond organ that our own locale is purchasing. then we picked up my sis from work.

while waiting for my brother-in-law in the parking lot, i decided to drop by a near pizza store and ordered myself a small pepperoni & cheese pizza. then i noticed the job opening posted in their counter. this posting made me think about my most "loved" stage way back in Manila --- job hunting. It just depresses me to think that i just can not instantly apply for any kind of jobs here unless i have my own social insurance number. so i passed asking the counter guy if they're willing to hire a tourist. i'll just get a "no" answer just like the other jobs i have applied the last few weeks. howell, c'est la vie.

i did our laundry today instead of yesterday and i have begun adjusting the washer's settings. mostly, i washed knitted sweaters just in time for this season. i can't believe its 3 degrees celcius this morning. and i thought we only get that temperature during midnights. well i was wrong. even when the sun is high up shining, we can get a negative degrees temperature and freeze to the chills of the wind. *brrr*
i am scheduled to guard the chapel tomorrow morning. i'll just probably stay there for three hours until lunch time since i still have to go to the dry cleaning store and have our coats dry cleaned. sana sipagin ako magbantay. wala si Ka Resty eh.
