Good morning! I'm sharing a card for the current Paper Players challenge to create a clean and simple monochromatic card. At first I played around with some watercolors but I still need a lot more practice before I feel comfortable with them. At the moment my attempts are reminiscent of my kindergarten creations! I finally decided to stick with coloured cardstock and make a simple, pink Paper Smooches flower. I popped each layer up on foam tape and added Star Dust Stickles to the centre of the flower. Clean, simple and just my style! :D
Supplies Used:
Cardstock: (Kraft) Papertrey Ink, (Pretty in Pink, Regal Rose, Melon Mambo) Stampin' Up, Vellum
Stamps: (Sentiment from Dauber Bunch) Hero Arts
Inks: (VersaFine Onyx Black) Tsukineko
Dies: (Big Bloom) Paper Smooches
Glitter: (Star Dust Stickles) Ranger

So perfectly CAS....beautiful!
Oh Jen, you've planted a mega watt smile on my face in sharing your struggles with water-colouring! I'm sooooo glad I'm not alone! Kindergarten ventures pretty much captures my efforts - and one very happy, stuffed recycle bin! Your decision to go with the die cuts is brilliant, and what an eye-catching card you've made! Sweet and pretty!
