To Do Lists from Stephanie Howell

Today's projects are brought to you by Stephanie Howell who writes, "When I saw the new chalkboard easels I fell in love right away. When I had the opportunity to play with one...my initial suspicions were confirmed. They are AWESOME."

"I used my easel as a "to do" list and inspiration board. Color swatches, flowers, things i need to do, a pocket for receipts...all in one handy little place. Love love this new item."

"I also was excited to work with the printed pockets. I guess you could say I went a bit overboard...covering an entire page with them. HA!"

"Jenni really knocked it out of the park with the new release. I am in love with EVERYTHING she designed!"

Stephanie Howell inspired by Jenni Bowlin

This month the design team is taking inspiration from Jenni Bowlin. Here are Stephanie Howell's thoughts and creativity . . .

It was an honor (not to mention so much FUN) to do a layout inspired by Jenni. Jenni has inspired me for years and years...she is a big reason I fell in love with scrapbooking.

My layout isn't based on a specific layout Jenni has done, just on her overall style.

The handwritten journaling, layered rubons and stamps, and strip of patterned paper (cut with pinking shears) are all a nod to jenni's style.

I am so grateful for Jenni and all of the inspiration she has provided . Not to mention the kindness, encouragement, friendship and love that she's shown me. Thanks so much for this opportunity!!

A Bond Like No Other by Stephanie Howell

Doing a JBS layout with old+new product was a no brainer. I love and hoard all my JBS product, especially anything butterfly related. Here I chose to use old patterned paper and chipboard butterflies, but I updated them by adding the new Doily Flowers and Number Brads. I also used some of the brand new Alpha Stickers for my title, and added some older mini aphas as well.

Since I was using old and new JBS Product, I thought it was fitting to do a "then and now" type layout about my husband and my daughter.

To be fair, JBS products are timeless. I don't think there is anything dated about this layout!

Such a lovely layout and thoughts! Thanks for the inspiration Stephanie!

It's Funny by Stephanie Howell

Today we have a poignant layout with heartfelt journaling from Stephanie Howell. The journaling reads, "it's funny. in may, when this photo was snapped, all i saw was that my arms looked big. not a good angle.parts are blurry and out of focus...so silly. now 2 months later all i can think about is how much i miss you. and how handsome you are. how much i miss your smile. and how i was so happy in this photo. come home soon. the heart of our home is missing."

Stephanie says, "I could have just scrapbooked this photo and talked about our date night, but I chose deeper journaling."

Note: She stamped the dots with a pencil eraser and malted milk.

Atta Girl by Stephanie Howell

Stephanie Howell is such a perfect match for Jenni Bowlin Studio, don't you agree? Not only does she love vintage and work wonders with it, but she also has a deep appreciation for the classics and is so great about mixing the "old" with the "new." Here she's taken one of our classic die-cut label papers and mixed in some of our latest - "Haven" papers and the new release Core'dinations Bingo Card Cardstock. What a sweet layout about her sweet girl.

Two More JBS Core'dinations Layouts!

We hope you have enjoyed Core'dinations Week as much as we have! We have two more layouts for you this morning from the new Core Amour Line. The first one truly is a "Delight" from Stephanie Howell. The homegrown label at the top and row of tiny flowers at the bottom are printed directly on the Core'dinations Cardstock. Then Stephanie has mixed in a bit of Homespun Paper with one of her all time favorite alphas and our new Classic Blue Ribbons. Those baby girls are the cutest things ever!
And here is another from Doris Sander. On this one the two bingo cards, pinked edge, and big star are all printed directly on the cardstock. Doris then made the embossed numbers on the bingo cards show up more by rubbing a little Brown Sugar Ink on them with her fingertip. The rest of the bits of goodies are all from the DeLovely Kit. Sweet! Thanks for the inspiration Doris and Stephanie!

We hope you're ready for even more inspiration next week! JBS and Write.Click.Scrapbook are teaming up to bring you Mini-album Week! Yay! :)

Soldier Sparkle Shoes by Stephanie Howell

did you know that play date can be used to do a military themed layout?? HA! it can. i am not one to make traditional army pages, and this page proves that.you don't have to use camouflage or red, white and blue on every military themed page.i mixed new and older JBS products on this page. in my opinion, "older" JBS products never look dated!

supplies: papers- play date collection. stickers- cardstock alphabet, tab stickers in black. embellishments- red embellished butterflies, cream cheese pearl flowers, red die cut shapes

Sweetness! Thanks for the inspiration Stephanie!

You and Me by Stephanie Howell

I have loved JBS for years.I gather and hold onto all sorts of lovely bits and pieces that Jenni makes. I have to MAKE myself use them. :)all of the beautiful trinkets, ephemera, and bits and bobs are absolutely perfect for making a collage style layout. lots of white space, and gorgeous bits of paper, tickets, die cuts, and textured embellishments tucked here and there.i scratched the rubon with my fingernail to remove some of the black and make it look more "antique".other than that, i just added touches wherever i fancied. no rhyme or reason really, just playing. JBS is fun to just *play* with.

Gorgeous! Thanks for the inspiration Stephanie!
