Faced With Reality, Whiny Liberal Storms off Fox Interview

Good grief, dude, man up. All the guy did was accuse you of pouting and you walk off?

It's just not possible to have an adult discussion with these people. In one breath, he tells the other guest to shut up. Then when he doesn't he storms off like a petulant child.

This guy was a former adviser to Bill Clinton. Maybe he ought to listen to his old boss.

News Corp Doubles Earnings, Media Matters Hardest Hit

Looks like the George Soros-funded jihadis at Media Matters will either have to regroup and redouble their efforts or Sugar Daddy George might just have the pull the plug. He sure isn't getting his money's worth as the evil News Corp, parent company of Fox News Channel, just announced huge profits.
-News Corp.'s earnings more than doubled in its fiscal second quarter as strong advertising markets and affiliate revenue powered its television segment, while its film and digital media business continued to struggle.

News Corp.'s cable networks have been the chief driver of the company's financial performance for several quarters, while its broadcast division has perked up in recent quarters as ad markets have rebounded and the division begins to enjoy more subscription revenue from recent affiliate agreements it has negotiated with major distributors.

Meanwhile, its film division is wrestling with declines in DVD sales, which is a trend found throughout the industry as consumers adopt online video services. Its satellite division has struggled because of weakness in economies in Europe, and its publishing operations are dealing with the industry's transition to digital media, where business models are still in flux.

For the quarter, News Corp.--owner of Dow Jones & Co., publisher of this newswire--posted net income of $642 million, or 24 cents a share, up from year-ago results of $254 million, or 10 cents a share. The latest results included restructuring charges related to an overhaul of MySpace, the social networking site.

Excluding such charges, the company's adjusted per-share earnings came in at 29 cents, a penny above the average estimate of analysts polled by Thomson Reuters.

On its top line, revenue increased slightly to $8.76 billion, surpassing the Thomson Reuters estimate of $8.7 billion.
I can see the kids at Media Matters rushing out a release declaring earnings would have tripled if it weren't for their stalwart efforts.
In the fiscal second quarter, News Corp.'s cable networks division posted nearly $2 billion in revenue, up 12% from a year ago, and its operating income rose 22% to $735 million. Ad revenue at its domestic cable channels, like the Fox News Channel, increased 12%, while domestic affiliate revenue was up 10%. The unit's international operations saw ad revenue up 27%, while affiliate revenue was up 17%.
Guess all those boycotts just aren't working out.

Shocker: Fox News Obliterates Cable Competition

How bad is it for the Fox News Derangement Syndrome crowd? Even a "rising star" like Rachel Maddow has seen its ratings slip 14%. Um, I think that rising star just crashed somewhere east of Albuquerque.
The Nielsen numbers are in for 2010, and in the battle for cable news ratings supremacy, Fox News took the title for the ninth year in a row -- bludgeoning the competition for another year.

The blowout comes on the heels on Fox News’ surging 2009, when the News Corp.-owned channel posted its highest-rated year in the network’s 13-year history. (Overall, cable news audiences were down across the board -- though FNC's decline was from a high-water mark.)

Among the other 2010 highlights:

>> MSNBC, which in 2009 boasted its first full-year primetime win over CNN in the 25-to-54-year-old demographic, did so again, while beating CNN in total day “demo” viewers and average total viewers in primetime – both firsts for the network.

>> CNN had its lowest rated year in 14 years in primetime, both in terms 25-54-year-old viewers and average total viewers. And barring a breaking news event in the next few days, the network will at least tie its lowest rated year ever (1999) in total day “demo” viewers.

For average primetime and total viewers in 2010, Fox News beat its cable news competitors (CNN, MSNBC and HLN) combined in total viewers -- and we outslugged CNN and MSNBC combined in “demo.”

Not only did Fox News wallop MSNBC and CNN, it ranked fourth among all cable networks in primetime, behind USA, ESPN and TNT. (MSNBC was 28th, CNN 32nd and HLN 37th.)

Fox owned the top 12 cable news shows in average total viewers and swept the top 10 among 25-54-year-olds (MSNBC's "Countdown With Keith Olbermann" came in 13th and 11th, respectively). Even the nightly repeat of the “O’Reilly Factor” averaged more viewers than MSNBC and CNN shows.

While moving ahead of CNN, several shows in MSNBC’s primetime lineup took a bit of a ratings hit in 2010. “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” fell 25 percent in the 25-54 demo, 11 percent overall. Rising star Rachel Maddow took a step back among 25-to-54-year-old viewers, slipping 14 percent.
The George Soros buttboys at Media Matters must be on suicide watch.

Heh: Soros Cashes In On News Corp Investment

Wait until the kiddies at Media Matters find out their sugar daddy is paying them with profits made from News Corp, owner of the evil Fox News. It might be enough to make Oliver Willis cough up his Twinkies. Soros and his stormtroopers spend their miserable lives attacking and smearing Fox News, so we wonder if this little tidbit will give them pause.
It was the opening salvo in a Soros-funded “stop-advertising” war to destroy Fox News for its threat to America’s “democracy” – an odd worry for Soros, who wrote a book titled “The Bubble of American Supremacy,” calling down doom on just about everything American.

And an odd war for Soros Fund Management LLC, which was heavily invested in News Corp, parent company of Fox News. SEC filings show Soros managed News Corp shares worth $4 million in 2004 and $2.3 million when sold last year. Cash trumps hypocrisy.

Do the lefties at Media Matters know that Soros gets his foundation money from his hedge fund investments in politically incorrect stocks: tobacco, fossil fuels, genetically modified foods, and burger joints? Do they care?

Not likely. Today’s American left is only about money and power.
That and ruining people's lives through smears and deception.

Top Democrat to Murdoch: 'Why Don't You Use Your Power To Help Us Promote What You Are Talking About?'

Gee, it was only the other day Barack Obama was whining about Fox News. Oh, the unfairness of it all, one network won't be lapdogs for the Democrats!

But I guess Fox would be useful to certain Democrats if they adopted and promoted one of their pet causes.
"So our border security must also be matched with efforts to make sure employers can't hire illegal immigrants," Murdoch said.

Murdoch and Bloomberg said they believe Congress needs to help employers discern between workers authorized to work in the U.S and those who are not.

Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif., told Murdoch she thought his support for immigration reforms in his testimony did not match the way the immigration issue is presented on Fox News, which is a large part of Murdoch's News Corp. empire.

"Why don't you use your power to help us promote what you are talking about?" Waters asked.
There you have it. A top Democrat admitting a news channel propagandizing on her behalf is acceptable, yet opinions contrary to hers and Obama are not. Clearly she's not satisfied with every other cable and network outlet doing her bidding.

Mark it down: Waters will be one of many shrieking about Fox News when her party is relegated to minority status on November 2.

Poll: Americans Love Fox, Have No Idea Who These Losers on MSNBC Are

I think MSNBC's ratings might actually get a bump today as people tune in to see if any of their low-rated liberal hacks lose it on the air. When they realize nobody know who they are while at the same time admire Bill O'Reilly and Glenn Beck then you know heads are going to explode.
More people are getting their news about the upcoming election from cable television than any other source, and from Fox News more than any other cable channel, according to a POLITICO/George Washington University Battleground Poll released Monday.

The poll found that 81 percent of those polled get their news about the midterm elections from cable channels, like Fox News, CNN, MSNBC, or their websites, compared with 71 percent from national network news channels, such as ABC, NBC or CBS, and their websites.

Among cable news channels, Fox was the clear winner, with 42 percent of respondents saying it is their main source, compared with 30 percent who cited CNN and 12 percent who rely on MSNBC.
...
Fox’s opinionated personalities were also rated as having the greatest positive impact on the political debate in the country. Bill O’Reilly was rated as having, by far, the greatest positive impact, with 49 percent of respondents rating him positively, and 32 percent negatively.

Glenn Beck was the second most-positively rated personality, with 38 percent of respondents saying he had a positive impact, and 32 percent saying he had a negative impact.

Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh was the third-most-positively ranked, with 36 percent saying he has a positive impact on the discourse, but his negatives far outweighed his positives, with 52 percent saying he has a negative impact.

“To some extent, Limbaugh has become almost a caricature in a way, so I don’t know how much influence he has beyond entertainment value,” Arteron said. “Whereas, in some way, the other people on Fox are seen as more legitimate news operations.”

MSNBC’s personalities were largely ranked as unknown by respondents: 70 percent said they had never heard of Ed Schultz, 55 percent said they had never heard of Rachel Maddow and 42 percent said they had never heard of Keith Olbermann.
Bill Clinton and John Kerry would call those people ignorant and uninformed.

Department of Redundancy Department: CNN Continues Ratings Death Plunge

We could do this monthly or quarterly and just plug in the same text and just leave space for the new numbers. Same story, different day: Fox rises, CNN plummets, MSNBC continues to flounder.

Maybe the idiotic left who snivel and whine about Fox News Channel might step back and realize it is they who are responsible for sending so many viewers their way by constantly talking about them. But hey, who are we to give advice to these clowns?
CNN continued what has become a precipitous decline in ratings for its prime-time programs in the first quarter of 2010, with its main hosts losing almost half their viewers in a year.

The trend in news ratings for the first three months of this year is all up for one network, the Fox News Channel, which enjoyed its best quarter ever in ratings, and down for both MSNBC and CNN.

CNN had a slightly worse quarter in the fourth quarter of 2009, but the last three months have included compelling news events, like the earthquake in Haiti and the battle over health care, and CNN, which emphasizes its hard news coverage, was apparently unable to benefit.

The losses at CNN continued a pattern in place for much of the last year, as the network trailed its competitors in every prime-time hour. (CNN still easily beats MSNBC in the daytime hours, but those are less lucrative in advertising money, and both networks are far behind Fox News at all hours.)

About the only break from the bad news for CNN was that March was not as bad as February, when the network had its worst single month in its recent history, finishing behind not only Fox News and MSNBC, but also its sister network HLN — and even CNBC, which had Olympics programming that month.
That's like being diagnosed with a terminal illness and being given an extra week to live.

Some solace.

You have to appreciate the NY Times reporter with this wry sense of humor.
CNN executives have steadfastly said that they will not change their approach to prime-time programs, which are led by hosts not aligned with any partisan point of view.
Yeah, except for their alignment with the Democratic Party, they're all very nonpartisan.
Even in the morning, CNN is sliding. Its “American Morning” show dropped behind “Morning Joe” on MSNBC in total viewers for the first time; it still beat the MSNBC show among 25- to 54-year-olds, though it was down 29 percent from a year earlier.

At the same time, Fox News, which had its biggest year in 2009, continues to add viewers. Greta Van Susteren’s show was up 25 percent from a year earlier. Bill O’Reilly, whose show commands the biggest audience in prime time with 3.65 million viewers, was up 28 percent, and Glenn Beck was up 50 percent from a year earlier.
MSNBC is such an afterthought their primetime hosts aren't even mentioned in the story.

Stunner: Palin's First Fox Appearance Crushes the Competition

It's not as if Bill O'Reilly doesn't crush the meager competition weeknights at 8 pm, but when Sarah Palin made her debut as an FNC contributor the other night she helped him completely obliterate the pretenders.
Sarah Palin was a smart hire for Fox News Channel, judging by the ratings for her debut on "The O'Reilly Factor" on Tuesday. The former Alaska governor's first appearance as an analyst drew 3.954 million viewers -- more than everything else on other cable new shows combined in the 8 p.m. hour. CNN's "Campbell Brown" placed second with 999,000 total viewers, MSNBC's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" placed third with 906,000 total viewers and HLN's "Nancy Grace" brought up the rear with 704,000. Compared to host Bill O'Reilly's ratings the night before, the Palin push was worth a 22 percent rise in ratings, or more than 1 million more viewers including the repeat of O'Reilly's show at 11 p.m.
The most amusing part is Olbermann is now getting beaten by CNN, although they likely got a bump by Haiti coverage. Still, O'Reilly and Palin had more than four times the ratings than the lowly Olbermann.

Do those whiny babies at the White House watch Red Eye? They should. Maybe they'd develop a sense of humor.

Murdoch to Obama: Just Keep Whining

These whiny babies on the left just never learn. They've been pissing and moaning about Rush Limbaugh for 20 years and the guy is more popular than ever, despite the endless smear campaigns waged by the angry left and the media swine who promulgate their lies.

So it come as little surprise that due to the White House jihad against Fox News their ratings are better than ever.
News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch said on Friday that White House criticism of commentators on his Fox News television channel had served to "tremendously" increase their ratings.

"There were some strong remarks coming out of the White House about one or two of the commentators on Fox News," Murdoch told the annual meeting of News Corp. shareholders here.

"And all I can tell you is that it's tremendously increased their ratings," he said.

Murdoch's remarks came after White House Communications Director Anita Dunn told The New York Times earlier this week that Fox News was "undertaking a war against Barack Obama and the White House."
Dunn, of course, has now been exposed as a Maoist, also no surprise since it seems most everyone around Obama has Communist ties.

Thanks also to Fox News, we also whiny baby Barry also has some rather dim re-election prospects already.

Maybe he he grew a pair and learned how to handle the slightest bit of criticism his administration wouldn't be disintegrating before his eyes.

Fox News Surges to Record Primetime Ratings

The Obama strategy of whining about Fox News has apparently backfired badly. In the second quarter this year their primetime ratings increased a whopping 34%.

Giving your perceived enemies free publicity is never wise.
President Barack Obama may be obsessed with the critical coverage of Fox News, as often reported. But the cable news channel sure must love him.

Latest ratings out for the second quarter of 2009 show the top-rated FNC having one of the best quarters in its entire history with primetime ratings jumping an astounding 34%, not all of them Obama fans. That 8 - 11 p.m. slot is crucial for viewers -- and ad dollars -- which includes Fox's showcase "The O'Reilly Factor."

Throughout the viewing day, Fox News did even better with its 1.2 million viewers on average more than doubling CNN's 598,000 and more than tripling third place trailer MSNBC's average audience of 392,000.

Loyal Ticket readers will recall back in May White House official Kareem Dale revealed in a speech that MSNBC was the Obama administration's favorite TV channel.

And that liberal affection seems to have rubbed off on Obama backers, helping the NBC outlet to barely squeak passed CNN in weekday primetime average audience, 946,000 to 939,000.
Obama's favorite network continues to struggle, just like the President in Training Pants.

FNC On Track For Best Year Yet

The explosion you just heard was heads popping at Obama affiliates CNN and MSNBC.

Despite relentless Fox-bashing and endless whining from the Baby-in-Chief, the cable news king is on track for the best ratings year ever.
Fox News is on track to have its most-watched year ever, showing significant ratings growth despite having just come off a highflying election year.

With the second quarter coming to a close, Fox News averaged about the same number of viewers as the top three other cable news networks combined. And while rivals including CNN (-22%) and MSNBC (-18%) took hits following last quarter's inauguration-fueled boost, Fox News (-3%) remained nearly steady.

Compared with last year, the Fox News (averaging 2.1 million viewers, 509,000 adults 25-54 quarter-to-date) is up 35% over last year in primetime viewers and 48% in the demo. CNN (805,000 viewers, 210,000 in demo) fell 16% in viewers and 29% in the demo. MSNBC (787,000 viewers, 259,000 in demo) climbed 15% in viewers and about on par, -3%, in the demo. And CNN Headline News (553,000, 201,000) showed very strong growth, up 39% and 37%, respectively, and is on track for its best second quarter.

The new standings are strong enough to rank Fox News third behind USA and TNT among all ad-supported cable networks for the quarter among primetime total viewers. In its core demo, Fox News had eight of the top 10 cable news shows. It had similarly sunny increases for total day, while CNN and MSNBC were roughly on par with last year.

Earning double-digit growth after an election year is quite a feat for a news network. With Fox News best known for such right-leaning personalities as Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly, one might assume having a Democrat in the White House somehow helps boost viewership.

A dominant political party indeed can fuel the popularity of opposing voices -- Comedy Central's "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" and "The Colbert Report" and liberal online news hubs Huffington Post and Daily Kos came to prominence during George W. Bush's tenure, just as talk radio conservatives like Rush Limbaugh and news sites like Drudge Report rose during the Clinton years.

But it's important to note that when Fox News took the ratings lead during the Bush era, some pundits declared that the network was winning only because a Republican was in charge. Those at the network get weary of outsiders assuming their success must be due to some fortunate external factor rather than their own day-to-day work.

"I don't look at who occupies the White House, I just look at it as news," said Bill Shine, senior vp programming at Fox News. "How well are you going to report on that news? And certainly, over the course of the last 10 years, we've done a better job at that than anybody else."

Still, Shine acknowledged that a Barack Obama presidency probably helps because viewers will "see some sides of an issue that they won't see elsewhere."
In other words, they don't censor out news that makes Obama look bad.

Never Saw This Coming: Prejean to Host Fox & Friends

The upside for Fox is they don't even have to run her through the Fox Babe Machine to get her looking hot. She comes ready made.
Miss California and Miss USA runner-up, Carrie Prejean, tossed around in the battle over gay marriage, will be a one-day guest host for Fox News Channel's popular morning show Fox & Friends, Whispers learns. She will host the 6 a.m.-to-7 a.m. slot on May 27, filling in for Gretchen Carlson—the 1989 Miss America—who will be off that day.

The decision to make her a one-day cohost was finalized yesterday—the same day Prejean and Miss USA owner Donald Trump appeared on Fox & Friends.

Suzanne Scott, Fox vice president for programming, filled me in on the details of the gig for Prejean, who was thrust into the headlines when she rejected gay marriage during the Q&A part of the pageant. "We're just using her one time," she said, "to sit with the boys and have some fun." The boys are cohosts Steve Doocy and Brian Kilmeade. "She has become a national celebrity in the last few weeks, and it's a fun thing to do," said Scott. "It's a good way to try get a little buzz and fun for the show. We'll see what happens with it," she added.
Expect more exploding heads over at MSNBC.

Fox Beats MSNBC and CNN Combined for April

No wonder Fox Derangement Syndrome is so prevalent at these low-rated cable outlets. When they're beating the pants off you for 18 hours a day envy can set in.

Who knows, maybe if CNN and MessNBC tried being fair and balanced they might attract a few viewers.
How's this for cable news domination - Fox News beat CNN and MSNBC combined in every hour from 6amET to MidnightET in both Total Viewers and the A25-54 demo for April 2009.

FNC had the top 11 cable news programs in Total Viewers and 12 of the top 15 in the demo. FNC is the #2 network in Total Viewers on all of cable.

From 9amET on, every program grew by more than 60% in the demo. The 5pmET hour, now occupied by Glenn Beck, is up 212% in the demo and up 128% in Total Viewers. Your World with Neil Cavuto is up 102% in the demo and up 60% in Total Viewers. On the Record with Greta Van Susteren is up 75% in demo and up 55% in Total Viewers. Also in demo: FOX Report is up 75%, Special Report 70%, The O'Reilly Factor 74% and Hannity 64%.

Memo to FNC: Here's Who Should Replace Hannity & Colmes

Word is Sean Hannity will be going it alone once Alan Colmes leaves. Frankly at this point I'm tired of Hannity and would much prefer one of the above.

We report, now you decide which of these two should have her own show. Or maybe the two of them can co-host, wearing lingerie.

Sexist? Nah. I'm just looking out for their own best inetrests, and hot babes equals ratings.

Heartbreak: Skeletor Leaving H&C

One of the most repulsive douchebags on the left is leaving the one show where anyone saw or heard him.

Good career move, Al.
FOX News Channel's (FNC) Alan Colmes will relinquish his role as co-host of Hannity & Colmes at the end of the year.

In announcing his decision, Colmes said, "I approached Bill Shine (FNC's Senior Vice President of Programming) earlier this year about wanting to move on after 12 years to develop new and challenging ways to contribute to the growth of the network. Although it's bittersweet to leave one of the longest marriages on cable news, I'm proud that both Sean (Hannity) and I remained unharmed after sitting side by side, night after night for so many years."

Colmes will continue to have a presence on FNC as he will serve as a liberal commentator on a variety of FOX News programming, including Foxnews.com's The Strategy Room and continue hosting his radio program, The Alan Colmes Show on FOX Talk, a division of FOX News Radio. He will also begin developing a weekend program.

Lanny Davis Joining Fox News

Buried deep in today's Howard Kurtz journalistic tongue-bath of Linda Douglass is an item noting Clinton lawyer Lanny Davis is officially joining up as a contributor with Fox News Channel.

It's a surprise to me since I've seen Davis on FNC so much I figured he was already on the payroll.
Fox News's newest contributor, to be announced today, may surprise the liberal crowd: former Clinton White House lawyer Lanny Davis.

"Fox has always treated me with respect and given me a chance to express my point of view," Davis says of the network that the Democratic candidates refused to grant a debate out of concern that it favors Republicans. He will be a frequent guest, along with such Fox stalwarts as Karl Rove and Newt Gingrich.

A relentless surrogate for Hillary Clinton, Davis says, he felt "ganged up on" during appearances on the other cable channels. He says that Clinton was "demonized" by MSNBC's Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann, and that CNN's primary-night panels were tilted toward the Obama side.
No kidding.

Expect a mature reaction from the left today. They'll probably wish him dead.

'This Just Complicated My World View. I May Like Karl Rove'

The baffled left has no clue what to make of the emergence of Karl Rove as a superior analyst for Fox News as well as a columnist for Newsweek.

The New York Times has a look at Rove as well as a number of former political consultants who now ply their trade on television and in print.

What's most illuminating is the preconceived view of the cartoon caricature of Rove and how he really is.
Mr. Meacham said Mr. Rove had been received surprisingly well in the magazine’s newsroom, where he has been a reliable colleague who files his articles on time and works diligently with fact checkers.

“After one editor dealt with him,” Mr. Meacham said, “the editor called me and said, ‘This just complicated my world view. I may like Karl Rove.’”
I wonder how he feels about Kos?
Some commentators have conveyed similar surprise.

As an on-camera presence, Mr. Rove is not necessarily a natural. Neither his doughy chin nor his ashen complexion would be confused with those of, say, Brian Williams of NBC News.

Fox News Channel would not say how much it was paying Mr. Rove, but his friends say his pundit work is most valuable for the way it increases his exposure and potentially his speaking fees.

Colleagues say he is most in his element as he ticks through delegate tallies, the demographics of Congressional districts and raw vote counts. “It’s like watching him at a staff meeting,” said Russ Schriefer, who worked with Mr. Rove in the 2000 and 2004 Bush presidential campaigns.

Crazy Uncle Excluded From Debate, Meltdown Ensues

The Paul nuts aren't happy and see conspiracies around every corner.
Jesse Benton, Paul's spokesman, said it was a "big mistake" not to include Paul, especially given Paul's recent success in fundraising. He said the campaign has been trying to reach Fox News to get an explanation for the decision, but its calls had not been returned.

"There very well might be some bias," Benton said. "Ron brings up some topics that aren't very popular with Fox News, as in fiscal responsibility and withdrawing from the war in Iraq ... that does leave us scratching our heads a little bit about whether it was deliberate. Based on metrics, I don't see how you can possibly exclude Dr. Paul."

Some livid Paul supporters are distributing e-mails calling for a boycott of Fox advertisers.

A Fox representative did not immediately return calls for comment about the complaints.

Paul has been invited to a GOP forum that Fox News is sponsoring in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, on January 10, Benton said.
The Paulians even have sample letters for the illiterates to send out.

Here's a portion of one. Remember now, they're peaceful and non-violent!
The supporters of Ron Paul are peaceful, non-violent, and law abiding. They desire to live peacefully with their fellow man and respect the rights of others. However, when they see injustice occurring (such as a corporation or network attempting to control the outcome of an election) they will peacefully use their first amendment right to speak up boldly and loudly. I urge you to please allow Ron Paul to participate in this upcoming forum of Republican candidates. There is zero reason to exclude him and every reason to include him! He has a growing campaign, supporters across the nation, and has a huge chest of funds to support his campaign! However, if you do not include him in this upcoming forum you can expect the supporters of Ron Paul to continue speaking up peacefully, boldly, and loudly about your unfair decision. This message will only be one of tens of thousands of additional messages from concerned citizens across the nation.

We know what your network is up to by excluding Ron Paul. Until you include him in this forum we will use our first amendment rights to proclaim far and wide (in a peaceful, non-violent, and completely law abiding manner)...

"WE ARE NOT GOING TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE!"
Waaah!

Funny, but I don't see Duncan Hunter supporters acting like children over him being excluded.

CNN Dumped in Israel

I love it when a neo-con plot comes to fruition.

CNN OUT OF HOLY LAND
THE largest cable system in Israel has dropped CNN.

HOT yanked CNN off the air early yesterday in a dispute over how much CNN was charging to carry the news channel.

The cable system replaced CNN with Fox News Channel when it could not come to an agreement.

The cable operator, which covers more than half of Israeli homes, will effectively bar CNN from much of the country.
What a pity.

Now the Israelis won't have to suffer through the relentless anti-Semitic drivel of that hag Christiane Amanpour.
