Breitbart on Red Eye

The folks at Red Eye celebrate with the triumphant Andrew Breitbart. Plus, fun with robots!

Meanwhile, a desperate, pathetic little fraud seethes with jealousy.

"Corrupt They Are Fine With"

Another great exchange you can only find on Red Eye, you know that late-night, early morning show on Fox News that kicks the prime time lineup of CNN.

Here Penn Jillette, from the magician team of Penn and Teller, explains what Las Vegas is all about and why Obama is an idiot.

Please FL, Send This Man To Congress

My favorite veteran who is running for congress LTC Allen West (Ret) was on Red Eye last night. Without prompting he got off some good lines about being light skinned and speaking with a "Negro accent".

This is Mr West's second attempt at a congressional run in the 22nd district of FL and if ever there was a more plain spoken person running for congress I will eat my hat.

Among the other topics discussed are terrorism and politics. He never runs from the incident that caused his premature departure from the Army, which is why I would go through hell in gasoline soaked underwear for this man.

Regarding the video that is referenced at the beginning of the interview go here.

Army NCO Fronts Heavy Metal Band

Contrary to the Fox News label this guy is not an officer. Officers are the guys who NCO's (Non Commisioned Officer) like SSG Phillip McSorley salute. They need to correct their label. You would think folks would start to get a little more knowledgeable about military matters by now.

One last comment. Dude, you got to get a stage name. McSorley just ain't cutting it as the lead singer of a heavy metal band. Makes me think of "Back To The Future".

Red Eye Gives Global Warming Believer a Black Eye

Have they come up with a catchy buzzword to describe the Kool-Aid drinking folks who believe that the science is settled in regards to man-made climate change? I mean we've got "Birthers" to describe those who insist on seeing Barack Obama's birth certificate, "Truthers" for those who believe in the 9/11 conspiracy crap and, of course, the obscene Teabagger to describe citizens who decry the continuing encroachment of the federal government into our lives, so I would think we could come up with something to call all those now-heartbroken and disillusioned disciples of Al Gore.

Anyway, here is Greg Gutfeld taking some shots at one of those global warming acolytes.

Oh yeah, regarding NASA that the guest holds in such high esteem, besides being the home of the discredited Jim Hansen, they also had another one of their "experts" get convicted of steering no bid contracts to his wife's company.

Oops.

Queen of Conservative Media

This should help get you in the holiday spirit. My favorite show, you know, if I was actually up at 3 AM to watch it instead of having to wait for them to post videos so I could actually see the show.

Of course that is a hint for Christmas, you know if maybe Greg or Andy Levy want to have Santa bring me a DVR.

Nick Popaditch Is Running For Congress

I have written about Nick before, the Marine veteran who lost an eye in the battle of Fallujah and now he has announced he is running for a seat to represent the 51st District in California.

I wish him good luck.

'Very Cold Day'

Do those whiny babies at the White House watch Red Eye? They should. Maybe they'd develop a sense of humor.

Ann-imals

Who could pass this up? Ann Coulter and clips of cute, cuddly little animals is a match made in heaven. Of course her friends on the left who are deeply devoted to improving the political dialogue in the country will immediately spout some garbage about her killing puppies. What can you do?

There is a language warning. Hey it is from a show that comes on 3 AM afterall and manages to pull in higher ratings then shows on those other cable news channels can during prime time.

Fox Gives Other Cable News Channels A Red Eye

How dominant is the Fox News channel? This dominant. Of the 64 cable news shows listed in the ratings Fox has the top 13 and in fact the only show they have that is not at the top is the 3 AM show called "Red Eye". It still outdraws many of the other cable news channels prime time shows and all of the financial shows, but that is what we term absolute dominance.

Let me repeat that. At any time of the day or night, more people are watching Fox News then any other cable news channel. The ratings do not even show ratings for most of the other channels for what they have on 3 AM.

If more people had DVR's or worked as night shift security guards Red Eye could very well surpass the others and make every single hour of the day with a Fox News show at the top of the ratings. And still Barry O won't grace them with his presence.

For folks that don't know about Red Eye, it is basically a panel style show with Greg Gutfield as host and his sidekick Bill Schultz and ombudsman Andy Levy with different guests each night which discuss, actually snark on the news of the day. For those old enough, think of Fernwood 2 Night on steroids. Well okay Red Eye ain't exactly like Fernwood but the fun is there and sometimes the discussions with the guests can sort of go off track, but that is half the fun of watching. You would be amazed what comes out of the mouths of folks like Ann Coulter or former UN Ambassador John Bolton or Christopher Hitchens.

For those who aren't familiar with Fernwood 2Night here is a clip from 1977.

For those not watching Red Eye they do re air shows from the week on the weekends at midnight on Saturday and Sunday which is normally when I watch it.

And meanwhile CNN is fact checking a Saturday Night Live skit.

Nick “Pop” Popaditch on Red Eye (VIDEO)

Ret. USMC Gunnery Sgt., Nick Popaditch was on Red Eye last night, and he talked about his book and website, "Once a Marine." Gunny Pop is a true hero, enlisting in the Marines in 1986. He's got a powerful story to tell, and I was so pleased to see him on as a guest last night.

Gunny was in Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During the battle for Fallujah, Gunny was hit in the head by an RPG, and lost his right eye. He's got a very cool prosthetic eye, although I'm sure he'd like to have his real eye back, but he's got a gold Marine Corps. eagle emblem emblazoned on that prosthesis.

Good stuff! God bless ya, Gunny. I hope to see more of you on TV soon. America needs to see more of our troops, and I couldn't think of a more cool guy to represent our military men and women than Gunny.

Red Eye Meets One Eye

I don't get to stay up and watch "Red Eye", the Fox News show that comes on at 3 AM and is hosted by Greg Gutfeld, which takes an irreverent look at the news. No irreverence here though.

Very compelling interview and Greg managed to put a smile on the guys' face without being condescending nor does he exhibit the usual unease most interviewers have around military folks.

You have got to watch long enough to see his prosthetic eye.

Mr Popaditch has also written a book "Once a Marine"

There seems to be a problem with the Fox News video so here is a You Tube video about Nick Popaditch.
