Crazy 4 Challenges...Trick or Treat

Happy Saturday Peeps!!

Time for a new challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges.

This week our challenge is:

Costume Fun-Images of kids, animals anyone in costume!

I pulled out my Stampin Up Haunt Ya Later set to use on my card.
Love this little witch image and she is so fun to color.
I stamped her with my Black Memento ink onto some Naturals Vanilla card stock and colored with my Copic Markers.
I did the same with the Pumpkin image and stamped her hand again so I could have an extra frog for my little Halloween scene. The face on my pumpkin is from the retired Fall Fest stamp set.
I fussy cut all these out and added them to my circle.

The Spider and the Sentiment are from the Stampin Up Howl-O-Ween stamp set.
The base of the card is Basic Black and then I a layer of the Naturals card stock.
The DSP on here is from the Happy Hauntings paper pack.
I drew in the string the spider is hanging on with my Black marker.
I added two tiny pearls to the spider for eyes.
I then used a few rhinestones and little pearls for a bit of bling!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Freshly Made Sketches......Trick or Treat

Happy Friday Peeps!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made using the sketch this week at

I was inspired by THIS primitive card by Laura Mellinger to try my hand at a "prim" card.
Most of you know I a huge fan of all things prim and all things Halloween.
My "prim card" did not turn out nearly as cute as Laura's but I still like it.
I used the little witch image from the Stampin Up Haunt Ya Later stamp set.
I love her, she is so cute even if she is not prim,

I used DSP from the Sweet Hauntings and from the Sweet Lil' Things paper packs.
I think I should have sponged my card some to prim it up more.
The sentiment is from the Howl-O-Ween Treat stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Halloween Treats for the Paper Players

Happy Tuesday Peeps!!

Today I am sharing a couple of treat boxes I whipped up using the challenge this week at

Create a Halloween card or project!

I decided to make a couple of these fun little candy holders.

I printed out the pattern, which is one I purchased a few years back and is no longer available, onto some Tangelo Twist card stock and then layered the pattern over a piece of Basic Black card stock and then cut it out. I wanted to make a black one and did not know how print it so the pattern would show on the black so I figured this was the best way to do it.

The best part of making these are decorating them. I had fun using my Halloween goodies.
This one is decorated with part of one of the Spider Web Doilies and a black sparkly witches hat.
I die cut the hat with some Black glimmer paper and the Boo to You dies.
I wrapped a bit of silver cording around the hat and the sentiment is from the Sweet Hauntings Stamp Set.

I used DSP on both of these from the Happy Hauntings paper pack
My fave paper in this pack is this one with the stars! LOVE it!!
The skull and bones are from the Howl-O-Ween stamp set.
I added the sentiment from the Sweet Hauntings set.
I added a small silver bow to this one!

Sweet Sunday........Trick or Treat

Happy Sunday Peeps!!

I am loving this sketch, many possibilities for that butterfly element,
I am still hving some fun with my new Halloween goodies.

I adore these fun spider web doilies from Stampin Up, the great thing about them are they are white on the back so they can be used for more than just Halloween!

I used the doily for my jumping off point on my card.
I started with some Basic Black card stock and then I used a layer of Naturals Vanilla
The DSP is from the Happy Hauntings paper pack.

I added the doily in the corner and trimmed it to fit.
I added the strip of Vanilla across the doily and stamped the sentiment, which is from the Tags For You stamp set. The spiders are part of the same stampp and I just masked off and used what I needed on here

My super cute and so not spooky owl, which I love, comes from the Howl-O-Ween Treat stamp set.
I stamped him with some Black Memento ink and used the matching framelits to cut him out,
I added him to the card with dimensionals.
The eyes on my owl are some glittery black rhinestones I got locally (non SU).
I added a few round the card s well. One is actually hiding  a small smear spot, but you would never know huh?

Thanks for stopping by !

Creative Challenge with Wendy

Happy Friday Peeps!

A couple of weeks ago I received a card in the mail from my friend Wendy
As you all know we do a monthly challenge and that card had the contents of our new challenge.

She sent me the clear boxes and said to decorate for Halloween!

I was excited cos I LOVE Halloween!

I got busy this week on the challenge,
I had finally got some new goodies from the Stampin Up new mini. I was excited to use some of the Halloween items I had ordered.

On these three boxes you can see something from each of the three Halloween sets I got.

First up is my fave set, I LOVED it the instant I saw it.
It is called Haunt Ya Later and has some fun images to color.
I stamped this little guy and colored with my copic markers.
How cute is he???
The sentiment is from the same set.
I stamped it with Wild Wasabi ink to match Dracula's complexion

Next is the Howl-a ween Treat Set.

Isn't that owl so cute?
I stamped it with Black ink onto some Very Vanilla card stock, the Jack-O-Lantern is stamped with Tangelo Twist ink. These images are cut with the matching framelits.
All the DSP on these are from the Happy Haunting paper pack.

My last box contains and image, the cat, from the Haunt You Later set and the tag is from the Sweet Hauntings stamp set.
I added some black frayed out ribbon to the tag.

Hope you enjoyed this installment of our Creative Challenges and be sure to hop on over to
Wendy's Blog  to see how she decorated these cute little boxes.
