Congratulations card with Magenta

Hello my dear crafty friends! Irit is here today with my new Mixed Media card made with Magenta stencil and stamps.

One of the greatest things about Magenta products is that you can combine older and newer products in the most artistic way.
The stencil I used for the background with crackle paste is pretty new release. The flowers stamps are about year old.
And as you can see they are the perfect match one with another.

First I used the stencil over thick white cardstock front and when it was dry I added yellow mist over it.
Then I stamped, colored and hand cut the flowers and arranged them over the card.

I made a small step by step (no step photos) tutorial and you can recreate this card using it.
Step by step :1. Die cut the thick white cardstock card front. Add crackle texture paste over Magenta stencil and let it dry.
2. Mist the dry front with yellow Tattered Angels mist and let it dry. Add two thin washi tape strips on the right side of the card front.
3. Stamp Magenta flower stamps with VersaMark ink and heat emboss with SNS white detail embossing powder. Hand cut the flowers and water color with TA mists.
4. Arrange the flowers over the card and glue them as shown. Stamp Magenta sentiment and glue it over the card.

5. Glue some blue flower shaped sequins and add a few Nuvo drop dots over the card front.

CAS-ual Fridays Stamp Guest Design post

Hello my dear crafty friends! This is part 2 of my Guest design for CAS-ual Fridays Stamps and this time they tell a bit about me and this is a project I made for this separate post.
You are most welcome to their blog HERE see the full post.

If girls celebrate their adult age on 12, for boys it's 13. And still it's not just the religious part that is important, but boring, but the party!  So this is a gift box (also we mostly give cash…) that was the Swatch watch box and it's about 12'' long. First I covered it with cardstock and then added two spots of stamped images. On the right side I stamped the general sentiment. On the left I stamped, heat embossed, colored and hand cut the hot air balloon and added the number 13 for the age of the celebration. Small blue stamped sentiment was added under the balloon.

I want to thank CAS-ual Fridays Stamps for a great chance to be their Guest designer this  month and to work with their beautiful stamps.
I hope to be back there some day! Cross my finger I will.

Vintage book with ARTplorations

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second  May inspiration made for ARTplorations with their stencils and stamps.
This time I made a book cover/mini book cover (easy to add some binding system and to add pages inside).
I decided to stay in this vintage monochromatic mood and worked with gold- black and brown color only. Yes, the  flower is yellow, but this is just the last second add- on  to add more interest.
I used Square links stencil and a sentiment from Trendy Butterflies stamp set with DecoArt texture crackle paste and Mixed Media line fluid acrylics over the thick cardstock cover  where I glued an old book page. Everything else was heat embossed with clear embossing powder over the black painted  with DecoArt chipboards. The stamped word was covered with glaze inside the chipboard frame. The book corners are die cuts (MFT) and again heat embossed with black powder. Some washi tape pieces were added on the book spine.

Celebrate and make a wish card: Oriental style

Hello  my dear crafty friends!
Irit is here again with my new Oriental style card and this time it's a Birthday card full of bright colors and gold using Die Versions Oriental dies collection.
I used light blue card as my base and added a real Japanese paper over it. As this paper has gold  I decided to stay with gold and made the die cut of Whispers - Ginger Jar  die in gold. I kept the negative and used it under the die cut over the card.
The vase was layered over double sided glue sheet and covered with perfect blue glitter.
I added a few  pieces of gold washi tapes and some SRM stickers as stitches and sentiments.  The paper has a bit of red over it. So I added a couple of red rhinestones  and red stitches to make this the complimentary color for my card.

So with just one die  this card is a shiny and full of color and just perfect for both genders.
I enter this to Simon Says Anything goes challenge

Dream like there's no tomorrow: with ARTplorations

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Mixed Media post made for ARTplorations !
This time I played with Gelli plate and Tattered Angels High Impact paints. Second time in my whole life play. But as your can see it works! And with ARTplorations gorgeous stencils it works even better.
So I used Bubbles stencil mostly and a bit of Chevron Crazy and made tons of monoprints with the same stencils, but with different paints and colors.
Then I arranged them into this grid over the black cardstock and connected the small pieces with the similar colors washi tape.
The chipboard title was heat embossed and misted and then glued over the middle of this fun art board.
Then, as I still had a lot of monoprints left, I die cut a few pieces to add to the board, such as butterflies and a leaves' swirl.  Just one tip for this new to gelli plates girl: try to find better acrylics than my cheap kids shop ones I have here. I waisted tons of good paper for like 6 nice prints.

Mail art with Rubber Dance

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my first blog post made for Rubber Dance stamp company for July.
This time I played with a very new , just released Envelope stamps set and I need to say that I am hooked! I love this easy to make Mail art  and also I am totally new to it, I am sure I will do much more of post cards, envelopes and package covers in the future. So much fun! So easy! So different  and so creative!
I just  stamped the stamps from this delicious set over and over with different inks, added some Gelato colors and a bit of post washi tapes and this envelope was made. To keep the address space white I used book shaped die cut (Spellbinders) as a mask. And if you like to make Mail art- Rubber Dance new Envelope  set is just the best of the best!

Travel card with Rubber Dance

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new Rubber Dance post!
Today it's a simple (not so) card made with a lot of RD stamps and masking techniques.
I used Travel set  and it  all is heat embossed with black powder and then colored with a mix of Gelatos over the card. This is my most loved set of RD stamps. Maybe it's because I love Paris, London and Venice and visited all of those cities several times . Maybe it's just because I love to travel. And maybe it's just because those stamps are THE BEST!

You' re simply the best lo

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to PHP blog.
Today I am going to share my new layout made with PHP most gorgeous products and my own most gorgeous baby granddaughter. But first the story.
Usually as scrapbookers, we first print a good photo and then try to buy or find some nice products to fit the photo. But sometimes, as it happened with my layout, we first have the products and then try to arrange the photo shot that fits those products.

I had this basic patterned paper with a red dotted gnome with mushrooms for at least 8 months and didn't find any proper photo to fit this lovely pattern. When our Netta was one year old I took her  to a studio photo session and between tons of accessories I've seen this little gnome  and this red dotted huge pot  and I just  demanded to make a frame within  it to fit my beloved paper. So a dozen of photos were made and all of them are great for this unique paper from non baby Garden collection. Again, this page is an example of baby scrapping with non baby products and the proof of PHPA themed versatility.
Product list:
Cardstock: American Crafts
Paper: Paper House Productions (Garden, Rejoice)
Stickers: Chalkboard Littler Girl, Puffy flowers, Chipboard birds- Paper House Productions
Chipboards: Wycinanka
Punches: EK Success, Martha Stewart
Ink: Clearsnap, Ranger
Pearls: Flourish with a Bling
Fabric stickers: Flourish with a Bling
Embossing powders: WOW!Embossing powders
Other: washi tape

Step by step:
1. Ink the Kraft cardstock with red ink around the edges. Cut the basic paper 1/8'' around and punch with two punches here and there around the edges. Glue the punched paper over the Kraft cardstock.
2. Make few rectangles from two " wood" papers; add some punched  border on the bottom of the biggest one. Arrange rectangles as shown and add a hand cut boots on the top.
3. Hear emboss the chipboard window using clear embossing ink and white vanilla embossing powder. Ink the embossed chipboard with brown ink all over it. Add the bird piece of a paper into the embossed window and glue the window over the matted papers as shown. Glue the photo over the window.
4. Ink the chipboard shutters with brown ink and glue it over the photo.Arrange the puffy flower stickers near the corner; add a chalkboard sticker with white hand written journalling and a chipboard sticker bird over it.
5. Heat emboss the title chipboard with the same white powder and then re- emboss it with red powder over. Adhere the chalkboard sticker, glue the red title over and add a bird.
Add 3 fabric mushrooms and some red dotted washi tape.

Live with passion (and everything else)

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is my weekly post made with delicious Two Paper Divas stamps and this time a simple card with not so simple sentiment from TPD shop.

A bit about how this card was made:
I made the background with 2 kinds of washi tapes; added another glitter tape over and heat embossed chipboard stars with gold and silver powders.
The matting and the stamped panel were die cut with Spellbinders and the sentiment was simply stamped with black ink.
This is a totally golden and silver card, also it's like yellow, but it's a real yellow gold not so much seen on this photo.

Gift bags with love

Hello my dear crafty friends!
This is my first post made for my new DT for Two Paper Divas stamp company.
This is new USA based stamp company with gorgeous delicate acrylic stamps and a lot of digital images too.
So here is my first project and I used a few stamp sets for this set of brown gift bags.

A bit about how those packages were made:
The bag was dry embossed with a folder and then inked with a bit of distress ink. Then I added some washi tape strips and some 7 Gypsies strips. The scalloped matting was die cut with Spellbinders die and then inked and distressed around. The Large Seed Packet stamp was stamped with black ink and hand cut to be the base for Seed Packet Flowers. I used two of 4 flowers from this stamp set. Each one was heat embossed with clear powder and then colored with distress markers. Then I stamped them again and made 3d flower arrangement.
I added some twin and a wood inked heart to finish those packages that are great for a small gift or a gift card to put inside.

I stamped Banner #2 sentiments over each package, but those are great general sentiment that fit each occasion.
Want those lovely stamps?

Blessed beyond measure

This is my new Inspired by Stamping card made with Diamonds new released stamps and a sentiment from Autumn Blessings also new released stamp set.

I arranged a row  of diamonds and stamped them  diagonally again and again. Those shapes are just perfect for this asymmetric card. As the sentiment is about " counting" (measuring) I added this washi tape and connected this card with a few black pearls.

I think- not sure- that with those colors it can be for both genders.

Layering with dies: such a fun experience

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today I am going to share a fun, maybe even masculine card, made with a lots of layers and I mean A LOT!
I counted like 10 layers here, and still this card is not very bulky (thanks to not adding flowers... LOL)
I used Marion Smith papers only and some cardstock for my die cuts.

5 Die Versions dies were used on this  card:
Funky Octagons background
Let's celebrate today Sweet Spot
Torn edge spiral Whispers border die
Love Sweet frame
Heart Burst Whispers die
All dies were die cut from   thick cardstock and inked with distress inks. The sentiment die was also heat embossed with black embossing powder.
I added a single metal pin with a butterfly , some glitter clear glue and two small pieces of washi tape (just to connect the layers in the more secure way)
I made for my weekly blog post in Die- Versions blog, but using MSD challenge colors and sketch and I enter this card to this challenge.

Sweet Stamp :No patterned paper week challenge #171

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps NO PATTERNED PAPER WEEK!
This is a new showcasing of our DT projects and this is my very first blog post in SS blog. I just hope I do a good job, both with my card and with this new for me posting.
This is my No patterned paper card. Actually I don't use designer paper friequently, so it's just as kind of a chalenge I like a lot.
The background black cardstock was stamped with SS Paris Script stamp using white pigmented ink and white fine detail embossing powder. Then I added a couple of golden washi tapes over this stamped background and my card was ready to get it's focal point.

The focal point was stamped with Paris Collage stamp, the same white ink and white powder way over SS Black ATC piece of cardstock. Then I made those gold heat embossed edges with  clear embossing ink and  Vintage gold embossing enamel.
A few chipboard pieces were added over the focal point: 2 small, stamped with black ink envelopes and a postmark, heat embossed with Black embossing powder.
The sentiment  " Best wishes" was made over the same black ATC piece of cardstock the same heat embossed way, but now I stamped with clear  ink and embossed the sentiment with the same gold powder. A couple of flowers were the final touch for this card.
As you can see you don't really need designer paper  to make your fancy stamped project.

So now it's your turn! Enter our Sweet Stamps challenge and you can win some lovely SS goodies too! Go for those AF Cling stamps I used and for our great ATC sized cardstock if you win. My choise for you! Anyway, if you win, it's your pick. Just play and win!
