Dream big and shine card

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made for Two Paper Divas.
This time I used this elegant sparkling TPD  Dream big sentiment stamp and my only stamped image over this die cut card.
The whole card is made with glitter chipboards and the stars are Die Versions die cuts. The sentiment is heat embossed with clear embossing powder over the purple pigmented ink. And yes- I dream big and shine bright and sparkle even more on this card.

IBS April stamp release: YOU ARE set

Hello my dear crafty friends! Welcome to Inspired by Stamping new April release.
I was quite a long time since I was able to take part in releases due the " very fast" shipping from Australia to Israel. But then, Joanna, the Inspired by Stamping owner moved back to USA, and now the shipping was much better. So I had time and energy to make all four cards - one for each new released stamp set.
Today is a day for the most versatile YOU ARE stamp set.
You just  stamp YOU ARE words and add whatever other words from the set that fit your mood, card layout, colors or whatever.
So as I decided to make this glittery, shiny star card, my words are AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL AND RADIANT.
I used very old glitter chipboard (Robin's Nest); pretty new Die Versions Stitched Stars nesting dies set and Stampin' Up ink. Some gold mist was added over the finished card to  give it a kind of more trendy, Mixed Media card.
I really hope that you like this new set.
Now go to Inspired by Stamping site and see other designers work with this set.
For the next three days we will showcase you three more new sets and they are just ADORABLE!
So come back and then you may buy all of new sets with USA (better) shipping!

Love always layout

Sometimes I have spare time. It happens maybe once or twice a year. So I have time to make some projects for some web challenges and this time I made a challenge for The Robin's Nest  September sketch.
I made the second (only second) page for my DD Wedding album, using PHP themed papers and stickers and some TRN products that were a good fit for my layout: glitter gold chipboard, gold and pearl  mini dew drops and regular gold dew drops.

And some close- ups:

So I enter this page to The Robin's Nest challenge.

Hello sunshine card with TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my new post made with Two Paper Divas gorgeous stamps.
For this summer card I made some over the patterned paper stamping with very small flowers from Twig and Berry wreath  set and stamped the whole wreath  over the circle punched piece with 2 colors of inks.
The card was made on the die cut base using Die Versions die as a background; another Die Versions  dies were used as my vertical strips. I added a 3d sticker sentiment that was a perfect fit to my card colors and added die cut  Love you piece.

Relax and Enjoy card for TPD

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to my second May post made for  Two Paper Divas company.
This time I made a totally CAS card, but still with some techniques.
The circles were all stamped with acrylic paints and different jar lids. Just that simple!
Wait a bit as acrylics are not inks and it takes some time for them to dry.
Now grab your lovely TPD Life is better in Flip Flops  stamp set and some colorful permanent inks.
Then stamp the sentiments and the flip- flops and color the Flip Flops  with distress markers.
To make it more interesting I added a lot of Robin's Nest Dew Drops with clear glue and added two red drops over the image.

See you next week with more TPD projects!

Faux parchment tutorial with IBS

Parchment craft is very popular in Europe, but also very expensive (tools and templates mostly) and you need to take classes to get some good results. But if you are a stamper with just a few primary supplies, you can make your Faux parchment crafts and it looks just alike, even gorgeous.

So today I am going to show you a simple and yet effective Faux parchment technique.

Product list:

Good stamp set with big and fancy images; snowflakes, big flowers, big doilies- anything big and pretty much circular will do the job. For my tutorial I picked the most gorgeous IBS Doilies set and I will work with a couple of larger doilies on my project.

White pigmented ink- any company will do, but make sure it's pigmented and not die, dry or solvent one.

White embossing powder

Heat gun

Thick vellum

And for the card you need solid cardstock, brads or buttons, smallest possible rhinestones and some ribbon for a finishing touch.

Step by step instructions:

1. Stamp a random selection of doilies over the solid cardstock with white pigmented ink. It's also possible to work with Clear embossing inks, but after a dozens of tries, I finally found that white over white (ink and powder) gives the best results. Add white embossing powder and heat emboss it. Trim to a card size you want to use; I used a scalloped card making die to make it pretty.

2. Stamp big doilies with white ink over the vellum and several times. Add white embossing powder, heat emboss them all.

3. Cut the vellum embossed shapes and arrange some 3d "Doilies flower" with a big vintage button. Try to stay in this monochromatic "mood" of blues (this was my mood as I was kind of a "blue")

4. Make a card base (again, I used a die to cut it the size to fit the scalloped die cut); this time I used a very old and forgotten handmade paper. Trim the ribbon, add some pins if you wish and your "faux parchment" card is done.

IBS July release Day 1: Happy Occasions and Happy Occasions Sentiments

Hello my dear crafty friends!
Today is Day 1 of our  Inspired by Stamping July stamp release.
Our designers used Happy Occasions and Happy Occasions sentiments and I am sure it will be a lot of inspiration today as we all picked different stamps and totally different occasions.
My decided to make Hanukkah card. The reason to make this card in July is very simple : it's my very first Hanukkah sentiment from IBS (and just a second in my stash) and I had to use it as soon as I've seen it.

So here is my card: self made Dreidel template with 3 similar dreidel layers and glittered paper. I made a chipboard die cut to use as my background stamp (old  die , but the only one of Star of David I  have), stamped with clear ink and heat embossed  with silver EP.
Then I  stamped Happy Hanukkah and Time to celebrate from both sets on vellum with blue ink and clear embossing powder, added a huge silver  bow and a few buttons (the card was too bare and there are no Hanukkah embellishments around, but blue buttons, brads or rhinestones).
I am totally in love with this  huge Happy word that can be used with a lot of different sentiment and both sets can be combined to make a statement.

Hope you like my  shaped card and now you are invited to visit all other designers too.
Remember to comment in each and every blog as we always have a great giveaway during our release days.

Sweet Stamps challenge #124: Snow

Hello my dear crafty friends and welcome to our Sweet Stamps X- mas in JULY month! For a whole month we are going to show you Winter and Holidays projects of all possible kinds and we  hope you are going to make yours and to participate in our challenges.
So this is our SNOW week and here is my Snow card.
I used Robin's Next glitter winter paper range that was just perfect for this card.
Then I stamped Sweet Stamps Snowflake Fancy  and heat embossed it with blue glitter.
I hand cut it as I just wanted it to be my sentiment base.
Sweet Stamps Best Wishes sentiment was stamped with the same clear ink and same heat embossing and I made a circle die cut with CLD  Nested Circles. Then I added some Fantasy  White  embossing powder over the circle to make it shiny.

Some ribbon, a buckle and some pins were the final embellishments for this card.

Inspired by Stamping January 2013 release showcase

Hello, my dear crafty friends and welcome to Inspired by Stamping January 2013 new release.
I made 3 projects for this release using 3 fantastic stamp sets and our first ever die set. So here we go!
My first project is a clear box that I am going to use  for a small present that is embellished with IBS gold glitter tape and flowers, but the main part of it is this black and white label made with Small Fancy Labels 1  new set and   Fancy Labels 1 set of   dies.
I also added a small tag (just cut the die cut from both sides to get the shape) and added another stamp from the same set.

And here is a new stamp set I used here:

And this new set of dies:

My second project for today is  this mini cards set of 5 cards all packed in a fancy embellished and stamped envelope. I used ALL STAMPS from this Cute Circles set to make this set. There are 5 circles and 6 sentiments there, so the last sentiment was added on the envelope. All  mini cards were made in the same style but with different colors and it's just a cute and easy to make gift (also you can make those mini cards for your personal use too).

And a stamp set I used here:

My last project is  a card(one real card for  whole release is OK and also I really wanted to scrap, those sets are more for card makers, so I stayed  with all things that are cards and around...)
This is my Miss you card all in gold and silver, made with Robin's Nest embossed silver paper and glitter gold and silver chipboards, die cut with 2 largest dies from our new die set. Then I stamped a label from
Just Because set on white cardstock with clear embossing ink, heat embossed with gold Wow Embossing Powder and cut the sentiment to add it over the label with 3d foam glue.
The silver glitter tape is from Inspired by Stamping shop, the gold ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon shop and the gold trinket from my  so called " vintage box".

Here is a stamp set I used here (I also used the die set you can see above)

So here all other DT  members project for this January release. please, visit them and leave them some love too, some of us post tomorrow too, so  check all blogs for a chance to win some great prizes!
